MAN DEVASTATED TODAY: COULD ALWAY'S THROW SOME CHILL MUSIC FROM MARK'S VOICE. AFTER GETTING HOME FROM A DEPLOYMENT, WHICH BY THE WAY HELPED. THE VOICE AND THE LORDS LOVE JUST SORT OF CAME OUT AT THE SAME TIME. ❤🕊
Great interview Dean! You've got a wonderful talent for bringing the best out in your interviews. You did this with Mark. One of my fav rock interviews. Of course Mark is one of my favs. ❤
Oh yeah. Mark's book is really great. Hearing his voice narrate it on Audible is just heaven. Mark's voice adds so much to the story telling. It's one of the few books I can listen to over and over.
First one with Dulli (Ep.#406) was great! Seen the Whigs and Twilight many times since '92 and has been the soundtrack to many moments, great and not so great, in my life.
This was great… I can’t get enough Lanegan these days. Just finished Lanegans book a couple days ago… listed to the Audiobook… it was intense.. what a legend. ✌️❤️🤘
I love that 'art tax' brilliance..many of us could utilize that right about now. and it would change society in an amazing way probably. this interview is so enjoyable. Some great stories here and great laughs. Some of the best music out there by M. Lanegan and I've always considered that Leadbelly cover~where did you sleep...~w/ Cobain my favorite tune ever. Adore everything with Dulli..fucking awesome. I couldn't listen to anything but Afghan Whigs and the Twilight Singers for 2 years straight. I feel like I can confess that here. Thank you for this inspiring chat!!!! i still can't listen to the Dead tho..
I discovered this show just yesterday. I started with HENRY ROLLINS, and today MARK LANEGAN? Can it be any better? Well, you have a new fan. Peace & love from Croatia
@@deandelray Thank you my friend, i'm on the binge. Just enjoying Brad Wilk show. Never knew about PABLO CRUISE, never too late to learn something, groovy band
it’s amazing Mark discovered gun club when he did & where he lived. it wasn’t until 2000 for me. They made the velvet underground sound like pre school.
You got it brother coolest guy I've ever gotten to to know, not personally obviously I'm just some schmuck from Rhode island but..... through books and doc's he's become my idol I know this comment is post pod cast but man I feel like I know the guy personally I love him thanks for the interview the guys name is inked in my arm, just his name is is cool... thanks brother
People around here just don't know who he is and I just get tired of explaining I kinda knew people would be like , who's he" I'm like wtf do you people know good music or are you just too young or what ? I'm just like Google him, listen to some good music or find it even guys my age at 40 just don't really know him around here I feel like I'm the only person who knows good tunes in this state....it sux there's nothing good out there so I just naturally go back to what I grew up with and it totally becomes new again....

Obnoxious. I don't think Mark Lanegan liked him, probably just me. Lots of awkward silence, doesn't volunteer any extra info. Goes against several of his points and doesn't bother defending his answers. Whole time it feels like he could get up and bounce at any moment.
There are so few great Mark Lanegan interviews. This is one of them. Thanks, Dean. R.I.P. Mark
Check out the talk he had with Joseph Arthur. It’s like 3 hours and Mark opens up a lot
@@thomasminarchickjr.7355 Definitely have. It's probably the best one available TBH
This is why you do it. Record the greatest artist stories forever. Thank you Dean.
Great interview! I am a huge Lanegan fan since Sweet Oblivion and Whiskey for the Holy Ghost.
I like all his stuff,DUST by Screaming trees and BUBBLEGUM are my favorites.

RIP, Mark. Thanks for what you left us here on earth.
I’m still waiting for the day that I see a new episode posted and it’s finally with Greg Dulli. I love that you get how great he is Dean

Hope one day there will come a accurate Mark Lanegan movie. He deserves this
A personal goal I'd like to see.
Pass. Read the man’s books. Doesn’t need to be tarnished by some posers.
