i know this video is old, but i met you recently at a utah FD event. man you rock. i love rotaries and the community around them, and you are a huge positive part of this community. as im rebuilding my engine, a friend of mine is letting me borrow his port template so this video is very useful!

Hey Kyle would u prefer a half bridge or a Streetport in your opinion? I have an FD right now with a streetport but I’m looking to go half bridge for more power and braps. I have sakebomb ignition kit walbaro 450 fuel pump Adaptronic ecu 2000cc secondary 1050cc primary injectors single turbo and other upgrades as well. Just wondering if it’s worth going half bridge or just staying street port and turning up the boost would love to hear ur opinion thanks!

How much power increase did you get ?
I know mazda did everything they could for the renesis, but I'm curious; how much more horsepower are you able to squeeze out from a half bridge?

what happens if u have the bridge where u have it timed location but have the entrance of its escavation begin at lets say 45° ?

What's the difference between a half cut and a full cut bridge port
Half bridgeport is only the secondary ports, full bridgeport is all the ports
That is a giant half bridge none the less more a conservative bridge
are you saying its giant or conservative? its or basic half bridge. templates available at KMR
Half bridge meens its only bridged on the Secondary ports. Not on the primary. its not a port size reference

I have a mill, and we can cnc port. But not many people can at home. Sick. Lol. Do you have a mill?

To this day I still don't know why people waste time doing this instead of just peripheral porting.
Because porting is like cam timing, one size doesn't fit all.
