There nothing worse than running that many miles.
Personally, high miliage runs are damn near spiritual. The feeling isn't something I can even explain.
You know you're in badass shape when you go running to hangout with a friend haha
20 miles
Running 10 miles is tough but 16 or 18 and at 6 min pace that’s incredible.
I think it was sub 7 pace. It's slightly above average for in shape men.

David Goggins is the Kobe Bryant of the military
I got to a point. I'll be running. I was like okay man we could do 5 miles today. Ended up doing 2 miles.
I see this as an absolute win.
But seriously you went out and clocked two miles and no one can take that from you.
Bro that’s so awesome. I have the opposite problem. I tell myself one mile a day and that’s it. I’m always running way more. One day I planned a 5K ended up running 8 miles😂😂😂 I was sore for work the next day
That’s 2 more miles than ALOT of people did

Endure is a low grade self help book that we’ve all heard before. Ya’ll should read, The Road to Sparta.
@@williamcowell1889 what works for some, doesn’t work for others I guess. For me though, after reading Endure, I quit smoking after 15 years and began running again. I owe much to Cam and Goggins. These guys are no BS. I’ll check out Road to Sparta also. I love great books. Plus I’m a historian and love the Spartan warrior ethos.
@@Fit.For.A.Firefight. true true. My apologies for my previous statement then. I think you’ll enjoy Road to Sparta then if you enjoy the Spartan ethos and are student of history.

I can run quite a few miles myself (used to run 10 milers; had to taper off after an ankle and knee injury), but there’s no way in hell I could maintain that distance at a 6 minute per mile pace. Goggins is an absolute unit
I have nothing but respect and admiration for men and woman with the Ruthless mindset and determination like Mr. Goggins. Dude is a legend. I hope if shit every truly hits the fan, Dave and all the warriors of the earth are on our side. If not we'll be digging our own graves. Literally

It’s just me - but I like when David talks about his stories but I love it even more when others talk about him. He is a living legend honestly. His story is the type you here about legends that have sadly passed away.
All of these individuals are amazing
People always forget the camera man he must be superhuman as well 😂
the camera man is his wife, she most definitely is superhuman 🤣
So….Cam just casually goes on a 20 mile run with Goggins…..can we acknowledge that Cam has some serious balls! And Cam doesn’t run off of anger, just the joy of challenging himself. Which is a lot healthier. Cam Haines rocks!!
Don't get ready, stay ready!!
Always 👏🏼 be 👏🏼 ready.
This the kinda rivalry we need💪
It's always so nice to hear from Mr Goggins
Thanks for inspiring me David. I pushed myself, went through all the physical pain and now my knees are fucked up and I'm out of action 👍
Well that’s ur fault, ur supposed to cut out the cartilage first dummy🙄
David's knees no longer has cartilage in them, and when his meniscus got operated once, it broke the doctor's saw as it was so hard.
Don't let your knees stop you. You're only getting started.
“I ain’t training for shit” 😭😭 guy is hilarious
I fkn love his mindset. I bet it's so hard to break through to achieve it but damn I bet it feels good when you do.
They both sound like they should work together. This is some DBZ Fusion level shit going on I can feel it. 😂🔥
I remember that shit and it hit me hard when he said it. I was in high school and I would work out and train mma and jujutsu and people asked what I was doing and what for and I would always say, to train so that I was always ready. They would say what for, I would say anything I need to be ready for I miss that mental I want it back honestly
It's called obsessive compulsive disorder..
Stay hard! 🥒
legend says they’re still running till this day
Goggins kills me 😂😂😂
I literally started running at the age of 10. I remember getting off the school bus in front of home, and I would drop everything in my yard and just started running. I did this for months, and at 11 years old I was running close to 3 miles a day. I finally joined the cross country team when I turned 13. I was light years ahead of everyone. I'm not trying to arrogant about it. So during that year of training I was running 7 minute miles. Which may not be super fast but remember I was 13. Long story short, at 16 my miles went from 7 minutes to 6 minutes and was running 8 to 10 miles every other day. So at 17 I was running 5 minute miles with my best 1 mile recorded at 4:51.
It was maybe 2 weeks after that 4 minute mile. I received an invitation to the junior Olympics that same year. My future was extremely bright, and things were falling into place for a great career .
It was maybe two weeks after my invitation to the Olympics. I was in line for a full scholarship with a big ten college. Well, my parents divorced and it was devastating for my brothers, sister, and myself. I'm leaving a lot of information out, but the end result was I didn't go to the Olympics, dropped out of school and turned to drugs for an escape. I haven't run a single mile since.
Get back in the game yo , you did it once you can do it again, good luck
I feel that man it's never too late to get off the shit you gotta want it
Bro ruined his life over his parents getting divorced 😂
@@cbreezy69 what’s your excuse then?

Dude absolutely, any combat sport he would excel in, his mentality is unmatched. His heart in boxing would be insane.

I’m 60 years old and I’ve been very sick. I had to have double bypass surgery on my heart in 2018 and a lung transplant in 2020. I got Covid twice after all that. I have had a hell of a time trying to exercise and get back in shape. My right lung collapsed about 3 months ago now and spent over a month in bed in the hospital while they tried to re inflate my right lung. Last week I had to do a stress test with a camera lense snaked into the right side of my heart. I had to ride a stationary bike with a camera lense in my heart while flat on my back. The told me about 1/2 way into the test they were going to increase resistance. I thought to myself I am done I can’t do this anymore as I was only half way there and they hadn’t increased resistance yet. My mind went to David and his videos. I said finish this you pussy and sure enough I finished the test surprisingly with very little difficulty.
Thank you David.
I love getting up early it's so peaceful

Cam and Goggins are absolute beasts!
Beginning runner here. 6 minute mile pushing 20 miles. They are warriors and amazing.
If testosterone had a personality
Gosh I love his mindset
good one,.. always ready
It is impressive what a man can do when he lets the entire world live in his mind, if he would have gotten the mental help he needed, he would never have made himself what he is today. It’s bonkers that some people will read this and be like, “yeah men don’t need mental help, we are tough.” Bro, this dudes been literally running from his problems since he lost the weight, go get the help you need.
Love hearing this guy speak
Cam was spot checking😂
Goggin's is unbreakable. 8 100 miles races in 8 weekends in a row. That is it. Cam is no one
Damn 10 miles I can barely run 2 kilometers
You’d be surprised of what you can achieve if you give yourself that little “push”
That's alright. I learned how to truly run long-distance in the Marine Corps from a track buddy of mine. I do other things now besides run but whenever I take running seriously I start out real slow. Just to get loose I'll post up at like a 12-minute 1 mi. I do it for myself because I know in like a month month-and-a-half I'll be busting out like 12-13miles. Just keep at it
Wish I didn't have a fused ankle
Don’t let that stop you. I believe in you, you can make things better!
