I tbh think i cant believe this, the reason is cause shes sposnored, and sponsored videos are always just positives, and half of it is lies, i ordered it and it sucked.
My first mechanical keyboard was a full size Alloy Elite RGB. I bought it about 3 years ago, used it for almost 2 years and sold it to someone that still uses it to this day. The HyperX keyboards are built like tanks and left a great impression on me and the person that bought it from me! It's a great keyboard to see what the hype is (pun intended) about mechanical switches since they are typically priced around 100 bucks or less and go on sale for 10 to 20 dollars off all the time. If this 65% keyboard is built anything like the Alloy Elite RGB it would be a perfect first board for someone wanting to see what mechanical keyboards are about without having to completely empty their wallet. That didn't last long for me or my friend though. I'm on my 4th custom board in a little over a year and they are on their 2nd. Not because the Alloy Elite stopped working and needed to be replaced. It was because it sold me and my friend on diving further down the rabbit hole of building custom keyboards.
The key to fix the white pink is a little color theory, just choose a very light blue/green color and it will absorb the red giving a good white, you'll still get the bounce light of the red switches on the board itself but the color that comes through the keycap font will be a decent white (and I'm a stickler for a good solid white)
I have been into keyboards for a while cus of u tysm also for my next mod shall i do rk61 cus im on a budget? Its the cheapest 60 percent hotswap I can do. Luv the vid keep up the good work!!!!!!!!
500K! Insane! Seeing your channel grow was great. Seeing the editing of your videos improve was AWESOME. Its an honor to be here on the Switch and Click channel and I am sure others are too!
I love the Core. It's one of my favourite keyboards though lacking hot-swapping. Thankfully the switches are good enough you don't need to swap them. I don't get why they hide the keyboard on their website though. You can't find it during normal navigation.
I really like the HyperX boards. They're definitely doing a better job than most of the other big-name gaming brands so far. The mice are pretty great too.
I bought this keyboard with the aqua switches and I will tell you what... This is my favorite keyboard at the moment. Very pleased and this video made me buy it so, thank you! :)
I'm impressed - if it were hot swappable they would sell a ton of these - probably will regardless but the gamer crowd may cross over a bit to the keebs folks. I'm really neither but my custom/modified keyboard collection is growing...
I just bought my first 65%, stepping down from my TKL because I really wanna try something more portable. Good timing. If it'd been hot swappable, I'd have canceled my order and bought this instead. Hot swappable is such a game changer in my opinion. Hope you and yours are staying safe and healthy, Betty.
I feel the same way, I currently switch between 60% and TKL with a separate numpad. Maybe try an 1800 layout like the Keychron K4 as those 96% keyboards are easier to find vs. 100%?
many of the highly favored players Drop, epomaker to the many popular vendors all offer full size always have..... with trends the brands sorta go full send given so late to beat by those they took over mostly Ducky in this case.
Many players in the space took over to glad coolermaster, Hyper X and them woke up as their sold in best buy, microcenter which is way more convenient.
Looks like a nice 65% board to get! And yes I have the Alloy Origins Core, so it's my third prebuilt mech purchase and my first HyperX board I ever bought and it sounds pretty good except a bad sounding stabs.
Honestly listening to your content is so soothing when I'm doing homework. watching your content is even better than watching apex gameplay I know that is a weird comparison but still. Love your content ☺️😄
whatever you do don't spill any drinks on it, I've done it twice in 2 years of ownership with 2 different hyperx alloy origins keyboards.. they both broke shortly after liquid contact.
Great video😀 But you are wrong... people do want something BIG and not something small, lol. I am looking for a FULL SIZED keyboard to replace my hyper x wired keyboard as we speak.

Correction: nobody in the custom community wants full-size. In the end, full-size keyboards are still pretty mainstream and is probably keeping a lot of people from getting into the custom hobby. And as someone in this hobby who does prefer full-size, why don't we, you know, stop assuming people don't exist when they actually do? It's why I gotta hand it to companies like Skyloong who at least bothered to cater to a silent minority with the GK108 kit. We're people too!
Many into less then full size me included as i own 2 TKL VELOCIFIRE TKL02 & TKL78 then 2 60% keyboards Velocifire M1 TKL61WS & a GMMK iSO. Many vendors do offer full size, usual for brands to go full send on trends.
Just got this one without looking at it before and damn it’s really really nice, coming from a black widow. This just screams quality. It’s a great board🤙

I just bought this Keyboard From Red dragon It’s called K617 Grey and white it’s really good for me and I think hyper X is good too I got inspired by u on buying this red dragon keyboard thank you so much
Just realized the keycaps on the 65% are WAY more textured than the 60%. Not sure why the difference. The 60% caps are super smooth, barely textured at all.
the rubber keycaps from hyperx look and sound great, I only wish they would extend them and make the L shift and Spacebar as well. it would be a gamechanger
Please, note that most of Europe would also like fancy keyboards. The ISO style. I know, most of you will say that it is easy to adjust to ANSI, but it is not when your name is with the key that is under ISO Enter, and over ANSI enter. Just imagine every formal message with wrong keys pressed.
I have this keyboard. I tape modded the PCB and put paper underneath the space bar stabilizers and honestly the keyboard and added some double shot pbt caps and it sounds so nice and poppy. Would recommend
The difference between 60% and 65% is that 60% doesn't have the arrows, but 65% yes, but the size doesn't change, it just replace some keys with the arrows.
What I want is more keyboards with the same layout as the k4 and rk100, because I DO need a numpad, but want it to be a bit more compact. Maybe one with a nice clear case..that'd be nice.
Went to best buy needed a good writing keyboard. Tried 5 different keyboards then found this beauty. Perfect for my small hands, just clicky enough but not annoying and I got it for 80$!
I bought ducky shine 7 last year after watching your videos... it's really a great keyboard and all thanks to you, i made the right choice....Now i just wanna get more into this tbh..
Punkston sent me a all black lazer cut keycaps with optical reds and its pretty good, i actually have been using it for the past couple of days and its amazing.
Idk what happened to mylast comment weird. Was gonna say been using this keyboard for a week, glad someone I watch is finally taking a look. your intro is my reaction to the T lmao
I mean HyperX has improved, but I still feel like there are many better options out there. For example the Nuphy Air 75 - same price, has bluetooth and 2.4 ghz wireless and is also hot swap. There is also the fact that it's low profile so should be better for gaming because of shorter travel, but idk. I think Keychron also has some pretty decent boards. I might be missing something, but that's just my take on the subject.
I got the Razer Black Widow Mini for ~$60 on sale. I really like it. Though I've never bought anything similar besides a $20 no name wired one, which is also good. Well, good after having to have a replacement sent and then combing the two broken ones into one working board.
I got an HyperX origins 100% for 70€ during Back Friday, while the normal price was 120€ so it was a really good deal and it is my favorite keyboard now.
Definitely an improvement. Happy these more mainstream gaming brands are stepping it up now

they should make a 75% keyboard. And tbh they need to create hyperX yellow switches, it would be amazing for sure
they have only a tkl which is a 85% but it isnt much bigger than 75 like only one santimeter
