Dr. Webster, you saved my life! I’m in med school in the US, our anatomy lab became virtual which makes no sense to me at all. If it weren’t for your videos, I’d fail the course. Sending you all the respect and appreciation that my heart can afford
Hi v good explaination, only genius teacher can explain like you. If I got teacher like you in my school days I might be a great doctor. You made it Simple and easy to understand. God bless you Keep on distributing knowledge you have.
Thanks for great knowledge provided to me on pectoral ,thigh, knee muscles.Once again thanks for Doctor/Professor Sam for extending such vast and complex muscular system in so lucid and simple way.
I greatly appreciate that you explain things in plain language with multiple examples. I can tell you love explaining and being a teacher; thank you so much for your logical and practical content!
Hi Sam. These videos are amazing. If I just had had you as my anatomy teacher at nursing school, I would never have dropped out. This is super useful, I use it to understand which muscles I use when swimming and doing yoga, and I'm going to use them a lot, when I'm drawing people. It's superior to know anatomy, when you draw people. Thanks again, all best Peter
I could watch your video everyday and learn all the anatomy that gave me alot of confusion when I was a student. I am considering taking the licensure exam and relearning myself again. You are way way better Doctor teacher than my Doctor teacher a decade ago. Thank you so much!:)
Oh yeah, forgot to say: It SO USEFUL when you tell when we can PALPATE certain muscles and bones on ourself. That's a really good way to understand it and remember it. I remember from nursing school, I rehersed all the names of the bones when I was in the shower xD "Now I'm washing fibula and behind it is the tibia ..." All best
Please keep your page up! You are truly a great instructor/Professor, I could study every one of your videos. Anatomy fasionates me and you make it comprehendable and yet still professionally informative. Your passion is apparent, thank you.... Sandra
Hey Sam What ur doing with ur videos is amazing!, ThankX a lot !. I am a yoga teacher and ur videos helping me a lot to understand more the anatomy of the human body, keep the good job up brother :)
@@SamWebster I second that, this is helping a lot in preparation for my yoga anatomy exam. You're the only person talking about anatomy on youtube I can actually focus on. Big thanks!
Thanks for the Video clip! Excuse me for the intrusion, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you considered - Dinanlinson Rocky Position Approach (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a good one of a kind product for learning how to fix chronic knee pain without the headache. Ive heard some super things about it and my buddy at very last got excellent results with it.
Thanks a lot for explaining in simple language. I watched video regarding anatomy of patella since mine got misaligned. The way you explain is the best. I tried other videos also but they are confusing. You start from the basics and slowely goes up. I am getting interested in your other videos also. They are so helpful and informational. Now I have something to look forward to of ur videos in these covid days. Thanks once again.
Heyy!! I already watched every video of you.. You're helping me so much and thanks for that! I'm a first year med student and I have almost an anatomy exam... Greeting from belgium :D
Bones...nerves...muscles...ligaments...tendons...lungs...heart...brain...yet we race off as though we expect everything to happen perfectly every time.
hi mr webster, i don't know if u read these comments, but i have found ur videos very helpful, and i would like to request that you post a video on the knee capsule, extra and intra capsular components if possible, as it would be a great help, thank you
I’m loving all these videos, while I’m trying to self diagnose my lumber and Si joint pains. Which then give pain and weakness to my rectus femoris, also abduction weakness. So on a run at 4km, 14km, or 34km (it’s just random 🤷🏽♂️). I have to then swing my left leg round like an unstable pendulum 😂 every single running stride. With a lot of pain and sometimes total numbness. 😮
Luckily everything in the human body is running properly and repairing itself...5 billion years of evolution ..survival and procreation...our human evolution makes us invincible if we get in stride with nature..for all our genius...and this man in the video is an off the charts genius...we must remember we are part of the animal kingdom and subject to natural laws!
Love your videos, so helpful. I am a yoga teacher and an anatomy geek and learn so well from these videos and your delivery makes it fun. I am wondering if you meant lateral rotation of the femur when talking about the sartorius muscle in the cross legged position.
From stand to sitting > are you concentrically contracting the hip flexor muscles and also eccentrically contracting the hip extensor muscles - all going with gravity - so that you then sit ? I am right to say this ? thank you
Love your videos - you are not “ typical “ academic …. it seems so quaint now -why you had the place to yourself back then , referring to pandemic …sometimes “ignorance is bliss” ……
Love your videos! I have a question: Do you think having a pinched sciatic nerve is more likely to lead to a hamstring tear? Or that a pinched femoral nerve is more likely to lead to a quadriceps injury? If a patient were to present with a hamstring tear, especially a non-acute event would the doctor be thinking to examine for possible lumbar spine issue?
When you talk about the sartorious, you talk about cross-legged position as if it is medial rotation but I think that is a mistake. That is a lateral rotation isn’t it?
My father recently got affected his right leg by a mild stroke. Through he is recovered and walking without any assistance his right leg turns to the sideway and position up front when walking and says because he couldn’t bend his knee when walking. Do you have any hunch what part of his lower limbs would have been affected by this move, so I can concentrate giving him more physiotherapeutic attention on that part of the lower limbs pls.
To set world records in track and field the Soviet physical ed scientists came up with super stretching....stretch initially...but then do hyper stretching exercising...long jump and triple jump champions...USSR...pole vault...
Sat down and felt something move in the back of the knee, accompanied by sharp pain and radiating pain down leg/hip. May have overdone it on the bike machine at the gym Any thoughts?

In my first year anatomy I always remembered that fibula was more lateral because fibula begins with “F”, the same as “Furthest”.
If only you could have taught my classes! Reviewing your vids before my final clinical rotation. So good!

I love these videos Sam. Thank you !!

just checked the comments cause i was thinking the same thing.

To set world records in track and field the Soviet physical ed scientists came up with super stretching....stretch initially...but then do hyper stretching exercising...long jump and triple jump champions...USSR...pole vault...

Let nature work!
Evolution...things work only to insure our survival!
8:35 I just found my own randomly and looked this video up to see if it was normal or swollen 😂
my knees click when I extend then retract my leg, some people say that its gas but I think it might be a muscle issue :I
Those skeleton models...internal organ models...yikes...only humans can create such wonders.
