If they did go for this games approach again i'd like it more if we just got two really well developed areas with a few cyberspace/action stages over getting 5 with largely middling gameplay for a casual experience. It'd also be nice if there weren't any segregation between the two control schemes since I feel like it was a pretty big missed opportunity not to incorporate sonic's extended moveset into the design process for the cyberspace stages even though this probably would've required them to actually design more original designs than the ones we got.
Great video, definitely was a refreshing one after the various divisive Sonic Frontiers reviews. Although I do feel like you're downplaying the cyloop a ton, it was admittedly quite fun to mess around with against the enemies, and I feel there's huge untapped potential for it to be a staple in the series, because the cyloop in Frontiers is pretty much "draw a circle and get rewarded with stuff", for example, how about tying it to a parkour system for wall running, or giving it a mechanic to be used alongside the boost that we have, in this case, maybe using the cyloop with the boost causes said boost to be invulnerable to enemies (at the cost of huge meter drain), or maybe while double tapping jump allows him to bounce or air dash?
Thanks for the comment! I suggested that they come up with a new mechanic because I don't want another case like the Wisps in the 2010s, where the devs kept using them because they seemingly couldn't come up with anything better. The cyloop is a part of Frontiers' identity, and I think it should say that way. If they were to add all the functions that you suggested, then it might as well be a completely different move.
Eu gosto bastante das histórias com o tom mais sombrio, o que mais achei legal no Sonic Frontiers é a história, então eu gostaria bastante de uma nova história de Sonic nesse estilo
I get what your saying about difficulty. But I think that should be a difficulty option because how my 4 year old and 10 year old and I play are all different lol. They love the cyloop. While I beat the game on hard and thought it wasn't hard lol
I've played the game around seven times in the past six weeks or so. The point of this video wasn't to relay how I personally feel towards it, but to offer ideas for improvement.
@@iggyminious Never said you did so don't put words in my mouth. I was just personally objecting to a follow up as there wasn't much story int he first one.

Peak
Come back 😭
One day, but not today.
Play it again. I'm not asking. You're WAY too much of a critic.

Chicken Nugget Man.
Hell no , the story was dreadful in addition to being extremely predictable. Within 5 minis i knew somebody was gonna sacrifice themselves.
Good thing I never said anything to the contrary.

@@LARK-ht7kd What was so predictable about the story?
