If someone gets annoyed because the tutorial is not 10 minutes its because they came for that, a tutorial, and this has evolved more to a "Derek Experience" which in my opinion is better that a plain ol´tutorial!
This actually feels like a 3D Bob Ross tutorial LOL
Thank you I get that a lot
LMAO
I came here to say that haha
Ooh yeah! Can’t wait
did you change your logo? your old one was amazing 🥺
Turn upppp
Actually, seeing you do the little additions has been a big help to me in figuring out stuff in my own modeling. I am loving all your tutorials. Thank you.
This tutorial is sooo good. Don’t change how you do them. So great!
I loved the conversation between you recording and you editing in this one, like the bit when you said this isnt a car tutorial and then a box popped up that said "it literally is" cracked me up, possibly the first time i've laughed during a blender tutorial lol
Yeah lol good times
I just spent 4 hours to follow the first half hour of your tutorial... and thats the best 4 hours i spent in front of youtube...
im a new blender addict... and I must say the mirror part is a fight!!!...
thx for your tutos...
Hello, Derek,
that's really cool!
I had a car like this once in 1970
This brings back memories
I'm just about to do that.
Sure to be a cool animation until the finale.
That's really good work you're doing.
Thanks a lot for this tutorial.
I am curious about the final.
Keep up the good work!
Thank you!
Lovely work Derek! I seriously enjoy following along the nitty gritty detailing! That's where I think one learns the most of neat tricks and trains the design eye!
Thank you glad you like that
24:17 don't waste my time this is a hobby I can only do during weekends and sometimes after work
You know what you're talking about and I respect that.
srry but u had to watch this intro
Great tutorial! i really enjoyed making the car.
Always so great to see your tutorials
Been wanting to make some car models for awhile now. While this isn't the exact style I'm looking for, I've already learned so many techniques and shortcuts less than halfway through the video, thanks!
I am a beginner in blender. I just learn various things and shortcuts of blender from your video. Your video is very useful for me and those who watch your tutorial videos.
The format and presentation of this tutorial is amazing!
Thanks Kevin
The car is so cool👌
Awesome tutorial! I made the car look pretty cool. Keep checking your channel for the next part SOO excited!
wow its awesome!
Thanks from the bottom of my heart!
I can't with your dry sense of humor. I'd watch these even if i didn't know shit ab blender just for entertainment. Honestly love your videos, keep em coming!
Lol tyty
I love your videos, make them as long as you can XD
Love it!
I knew you wouldn't let us down, nice tutorial as always man. Simple but elegant looking car 👌
With the windows you can insect all the windows so its even by selecting all of the faces of the windows then press "i" twice, and to extrude the faces together u can switch your pivot point to individual origins and then extrude the windows along the normal without doing it one by one.
Awesome video, great for those new to Blender.
Thanks!
Amazing tutorial
Awesome work keep going
Love the way you teach. Thank you
Hi Derek, thanks for share it...... can't wait to try this out....
Loved it
This tutorial has helped me a bunch more to understand more about edit mode more than blender guru!
Super awesome
Thanks Derek!
New subscriber here! I love your tutorial/channel (plus your humor and voice is also one of the reason) and I can't believe your channel hasn't garnered enough attention. I'm learning so much just by this one episode alone. Very thankful to you!
New to Blender and just found your channel….truly amazing work, thanks so much for taking the time to share your expertise, super inspiring stuff
Hey, thank you for this tutorial! Your sense of humor is great and makes everything weirdly more interesting
Thanks Mari
Great Job!
Thanks for sharing this!
at 7:42 you could select all 4 side windows and press e to extrude s and then x and it will extrude them all in the same size
It's so coool!
I am a big fan of your tutorials. Can learn a lot of things from a single video of you.
truee. i have too experienced it
lovely work!
I think my favorite part is at the end when the window rolls up - the sound effects had me rollin' (no pun intended)
Never subscribed a channel on youtube so fast like this! Love your tutorials! They are pure gold!
Lol thank you going back in time with comments... Appreciate them all
This is worst lowpoly tutorial, one of the best to learn how a good designer works. thank you, it's awesome
great job dude!!! AMAZING!
Great work!
8:40 I was having trouble with this so I used the knife tool instead and extruded the faces. Did essentially the same thing if anyone else had the same issue
Same here. Is there any explanation for this?
Super cool !
~14:50 Use the car as the Mirror Object instead of changing the origin.
Also, to be able to inset faces properly while mirroring an object: Press B while inserting to bake it a boundary inset. Make sure clipping is on so it doesn't create an extra face when extruding the inset face.
Thanks so much. I was trying to figure out why my wheel was getting mirrored in the wrong way. This solved it!
Bravo!!!!! Very nice, I have leaned a lot!
Just joined the family and am loving it. Thanks Derek
You can extrude along the normals of each face with Alt + E (Extrude along normals)
Nice tutorial
MAN, WHY YU SO AWESOME....

Very detailed tutorial hats off keep it up man.
From Today I'm a new fan of you 😀😂
i love this tutoria ❤ 10\10👍beautiful
You can press B while insetting to join boundaries in mirror modifier!
6:58 After you inset you can chose individual from inset faces panel. Much easier!
Ctrl i to inset, and then I again to toggle individual faces. It saved me a ton of time when I found that out.
Some hotkey dialogue appears at the bottom of the screen depending on what you're pressing.
Waiting for the next one
Great tutorial man
This was really great, reminded me of R.C pro am. Was good follow and thanks for the extra towards the end. I really like how mine came out, though I strayed from the path a bit. Keep it up.

Aye mate
I think it's something like alt or cntr e, then you can select extrude along normals and extrude all those windows at the same time
Alt +E
