I genuinely don't understand how anyone can justify the license fee being mandatory if you watch any LIVE broadcast. Why the hell do I have to pay the BBC, to watch a live broadcast from say, America? or UA-cam? It's costing UA-cam and my ISP to stream data and for the cost of the production itself, but somehow I could end up in court, fined and/or jailed because I didn't pay the BBC for it? It's nuts I DO agree there's some good about the BBC, just as there's some good about Prime, UA-cam, Netflix etc, but they're all optional and I don't have to pay for it, if I don't want it.
When Trump was elected they had a show '100 Days' or something like that on BBC News every evening - essentially bashing Trump at every opportunity. They were all so convinced he wouldn't last 100 days. When he did, they changed the name to 'Beyond 100 Days'. The made up Russiagate nonsense continued nonstop.
How can anyone enjoy a station like the BBC is beyond me, they put on mainly rubbish, they show far to many repeats, because they have nothing else, which you can watch else where if you like for free, then they want to charge you more for the crap they put on, make it a subscription only channel if its really that good, and let us see how quickly it crashes, if it's that good, it's subscribers won't mind £300/ £600 a year to watch it.
Because the BBC knows it cannot survive without forcing an entire country to fund them because of how big they've been allowed to grow & of course its left-wing support base is tiny
Is it possible to find out how much police time and subsequently, tax payers money is being spent on all the prosecution's they claim to be doing every week? There's numerous videos of when the "enforcement officers" have the warrant from the court and they're usually accompanied by at least 1, often 3 police officers.
Only pay the fee if you watch the BBC. I have not for years. Why do we have to pay? Because many years ago rules were put in place to ensure that you would have to pay regardless if you watched the BBC. There were fewer choices then so you were trapped. It has always been very unfair for those on low income. It should be scrapped. People should have the choice of what they want to spend money to watch what they want.
Cannot believe this guy trying to justify forcing people to pay a company for a service they may not want! I beggars belief that peopklle cannot see that its against freedom of choice.. the reason they force the fee on us is because if it was a subscription service they wouold be out of business!
Don't pay the fee all other channels show advertising so I watch them plus I have sky and Netflix and Amazon prime and I subscrib to them no need to subscribe to BBC
Easy answer, pay to watch it...end of discussion. If you like it then pay to watch it. If you don't watch it or wan't to watch it don't pay for it. It's the most basic practice in life, you pay for something you want to consume. I haven't watched terrestial TV for as long as I can ever remember, I pay to watch the F1 and I pay to watch UA-cam and I pay to get internet access. Nothing is free, we pay for everything, I don't need to watch anything from the BBC so I shouldn't be paying for it. I totally agree that on the other hand though that if you like it and like watching it then go ahead and pay for it.

Why can't they block the channels the BBC licence is for if you want to watch them you pay the licence
