- Bad bosses make people quit. Almost one third of British workers in a recent study said they’d left a job because of their manager. Nearly a fifth of people said their managers were ineffective. Unhappiness with management means that workers are less likely to be motivated and less likely to stay. The survey also shows most bosses are ‘accidental managers’ having never been taught how to run a team.

So much incivility at work places, mental harassment, that no-one talk about openly. I too have left so many jobs not because I wasn't good at what I do but because of poor treatment. Employees who do not leave are under so much anxiety and depression at work.
I highly agree Hazardous styles of management wont prevent turnover in companies, Masterful employees leave companies causing negative effects on productivity, Thanks BBC

Wonderful, I perfectly agree with your points. Although we can not have a complete definition of being good or bad, effective management makes people comfortable, appreciated and belonged, then the business will become better.

Hello,@@bbclearningenglish! Thank you for taking the time to speak with me. What I liked most about the old style of News Review (especially the ones made between 2017 and 2019) is that the videos were longer and I think this would generate more discussions and therefore more vocabulary; the cool radio-like studio which made the interaction between the presenters more dynamic and fun; and finally the summary of the news that was presented on a chart and read by another person before the presenters started to explain the vocabulary. Oh, and I also enjoyed the short 'guitar riff' played after the introduction. Anyway, I'd like to point out the fact that BBC News Review is still an amazing tool for English learners as well as for teachers.

You're saying Bad mannagement made employees to quit. It would be affected too, but I think the fundamental attribution of the problem would be no enough money. If my boss promped me to work informally with the triple payment, I would devote my life to working hard.😅
If you guys wanna revise my sentences to the better one, I would appreciate it❤
1) “made” should become “makes”
2) “to” (before “quit”) makes grammatical sense but you don’t really need it.
3) get rid of “attribution of the” and leave it to “fundamental problem”.
4) “promped” would be “prompted”, but I think the correct word here would be “offered”

Hi! You're right. We usually use 'angrier' as the comparative, but we do also occasionally say 'more angry' 😊
Vocabulary notebooks can promt one eager to actively use the newly learnt vocabulary as it facilitates going over past learning of vocabulary especially in any languge learning process conducted either by oneself or in any formal learning enviroment like classroom.b
