Awesome. I am very happy to tell you that I finally got emergency lights set up in my room. It was very easy to wire and they work awesome. I just have yet to make a video on it
Had a fire alarm activated in our office building since a microwave popped off in another floor. Yet the alarm sounded also in our floor. First time hearing and seeing a horn strobe in action, and now i've been watching fire alarm systems and fascinated by it
Thanks! Yeah it definitely is a unique hobby. If you are interested in this, watching a lot of videos from enthusiasts in this community can help get your interest started and it allows you to grasp a basic understanding.
@@ExitSign250 I remember watching videos like these when I was a kid. I'm 23 now and I got back into this, and super interested. Hopefully I can build up and start my own channel for fire alarms, that'd be awesome lol. Maybe even get into the field and start off as an apprentice. Thanks for the reply man! Love the vids.
Thanks! It’s amazing how interests like these can turn into big careers for some people. That’s what I’m striving for. And best of luck with everything! Starting a collection and channel would be great. If you ever have questions of need help with something feel free to reach out to me!
I tried testing my household smoke detector using a smoky candle. First I lit the candle, let it burn for a few seconds, then put the lid on, which killed the flame and generated a ton of smoke. I then held it up to the detector and let the smoke out, but the detector didn't react.
@ I’m so sorry, that’s my 10 year old son asking questions. He using my account, just so I can keep an eye on what he’s doing, and sometimes he’ll ask silly question haha
@ thank you for being understanding. He loves to learn about fire alarms, fire panels, and how all the different systems work. If you get anymore questions from my account, it’s definitely him haha
I don’t think so because they don’t know if they’re in there but I’m going out of the country today so if I can come by there tomorrow I would be glad 😀 thank goodness for you and really
You know if you have a fire you will have a really early alert of a fire it’s a real good safety thing you’re all covered if you have a fire your hobby will save your life if you have a fire its a step up from having a Residential smoke detector
Idk why my addiction is to watch something random, I wasn’t disappointed 😊
So you randomly ended up watching a fire alarm enthusiast video?
@@andrewchurch452 They did
You're back! Cool! I really love that white Pull station.
Yeah Me Too
I’ve never seen the LNG1W before, I like the way it looks!
Awesome! That “LNG1W” was a great addition to your system. And that ESL smoke detector seemed to have a few issues!
I like system tests with board 1 and i want more
awesome video! i love the sound of that 5ud system!
Awesome. I am very happy to tell you that I finally got emergency lights set up in my room. It was very easy to wire and they work awesome. I just have yet to make a video on it
5:08 It sounds like a British fulleon sounder
It actually does
Bro these videos are still amazing after years
awesome to see you back again. Nice test and I really like the lng1 pull

Pretty cool! In most cases, regardless of the floor where the alarm activated the entire building’s alarms will sound.
Systems 1's horn strobe on it's Hi - Lo tone sounds exactly like a UK railroad crossing lol well one crossings bell I've heard on a vid
I love that Notifier LNG1W there really rare and one of the only while pull stations except for the white RMS-1P and the T model 1T by RSG
Great test! I liked all of the devices!
idk why but the LNG1W is so interesting looking like it's super cool
This is awesome. Makes me interested in a hobby like this but I don't even know where to start haha.

@@ExitSign250 Thank you so much dude! That means a lot to me. Ive got your notifications on, so I'll definitely be in touch when I start up!
Sounds good!
Brooooo!!!!! Stop flexing!!!!!!! 🤣
I dare you for your next system test to interconnect both systems and activate EVERY SINGLE ACTIVATION DEVICE ON BOTH SYSTEMS.
11:17 sounds like I've decided that having a ring listing to alarms ain't good
3:46 I think it is a break glass model. It’s missing the tiny plastic clip to hold the glass.
I think you are likely right. I didn’t realize this at the time.
Nice system !! Thanks, the netherlands.
Awesome video! The LNG-1W looks so cool installed.
Man, that system is really cool!
That LNG-1W is neat, never recalled it existing to be honest. I'm slowly getting more and more myself I guess.
Tht simplex horn severely overpowers the system sensor mass!
The gentex gos sounds like a UK fire alarm when set to hi-lo
The non ADA mass was system sensor’s first fire alarm they ever made
Have you ever done a speaker stroke in your fire alarm systems or test videos 😊
I have not, but I plan to have speaker strobes and a voice evacuation system test in the future!
You should get a can of compressed duster to blow out the detectors. It’s very helpful
I own a few cans of compressed air. It is pretty helpful.
May I ask how do u activate the simplex pull station with the hammer thing on it?
The gentex alarm sounds like a British fire alarm
Nice will you ever change the annunciator or panels?
More than likely not. Unless I get something nice in a future, I don’t plan on buying anything to replace them.

First I lit the candle, let it burn for a few seconds, then put the lid on, which killed the flame and generated a ton of smoke. I then held it up to the detector and let the smoke out, but the detector didn't react.
I got a new exit sign just waiting for it to be installed
Neat I liked the smokes
What happens if you disconnect the batteries in the fire alarm panels in the power outage?
The panel and system will turn off.

5:09 that sounds like a British GENT Smoke detector Sounder.
How could I learn how to install one of these?
Another day, another truealert.
The one on the right, you should get it a new strobe the Jan text
Awesome dude
I actually seem the notifier Lng1R without the trim plate.
there's also an rsg rms 1t in white
An idea:turn both systems at the same time
Long time no see
I don’t think so because they don’t know if they’re in there but I’m going out of the country today so if I can come by there tomorrow I would be glad 😀 thank goodness for you and really
Lots of clipping but still awesome and the ESL looks too big to be bad
can the GOS go code 3 hi lo like the Mass?
The GOS can’t code itself while on hi-lo. But you could set the GOS to hi-lo and have a panel to code it to temporal.
@@ExitSign250 oh ok
I have a exit sign and a emergency light!
Someone Tell Me Why That GOS Sounds Like Something From England?
Haha steady go Brrrrr
Almost sound like a uk fire alarm
You know if you have a fire you will have a really early alert of a fire it’s a real good safety thing you’re all covered if you have a fire your hobby will save your life if you have a fire its a step up from having a Residential smoke detector
I only seen the LMG1R

My school has literally 2 or 3 lmgr reds
