All of these alarms sound great, they really do! I had my volume up, then the 450D was activated and it was loud, really loud. Why was my volume up? Because you were quite quiet, so i decided to put my volume up to hear what you were saying, and the thing is, my father was sitting right next to me. Wonder if this freaked him out a bit :/ anyway, really nice alarms you've got! I probably cant express how cool and awesome the tones and the alarms themself are!
ooo I am early. Nice Test. BTW, the 450D you have there that looks to be a B4 series has a .35 candela strobe as I have the same alarm in a C2 Series and the strobe says it is .35 candela. Not bright at ALL.
@@Meepcity534 for one thing, the alarms throughout the building are random models, there are spectralert classics the end of the hallways, then most of the buildings just have ones that do a long buzz, then there’s a random spectralert advance in one of the hallways. Then a gentex commander in the lunch room and a simplex horn in the music room. The portables mostly have spectralert advances, some have classics, and one has a simplex horn. I find it quite strange, also to mention the gym has spectralert classics, and I believe some old horns in there too.
That horn on siren sounded like the Amazon fake specta alert classic
8:57 ohh
Slow motion, mechanical horn sounds very nice
Nice setup! You should do a ceiling mount System Sensor ceiling mount Classic in one of your future tests.
Very nice alarm test! I love that FS horn/strobe!
Awesome test! We like the multi-tone horn!
Nice variety of devices you got going there! I have the same ESL smoke detector, the model is 521B
Nice! This might be the first time that you've tested all the devices on each board!
8:01 oh goodness I know that scream from anywhere-
I have one of those federal horn strobes
I love the setup! ❤❤❤
Is the announceator connected to both pannels? If so how?
What font do you use.
cool test did those siemens strobes ever come in ceiling mount?
Thanks! I don’t think that exact strobe was offered in ceiling mount, but they did have other strobes rated for ceiling installs.
Does touching one of those alarm things actually trigger it? I always wondered
Nope. The only way for someone to activate a fire alarm system would be pulling an alarm. Simply touching it will not set them off.
I like fire alarm
I put the same Siemens strobe outside my house under some covering
Cool Video!!!

Thanks! Wow, only 0.35 candela? I guess it kinda makes sense because strobes were new types of devices back then.
@@ExitSign250 Only my 450D C2 stated the candela, my B4 model does not state the candela
Awesome
Did I tell you about my high schools crazy system?
How is it crazy
