    Hi Dan, great video as always. More detail than normal, which is far more interesting. What size are the door struts and where can I get some. I need some small as poss for my doors. Also the smaller router you use, is that just trimming the inside edge of door to get rid of nibs/chips etc. Many thanks. Wayne. 🚐👍 Also noticed a few Wurth products in your workshop. If you don’t have an account with Wurth, message me and I’ll set you up👍.

      Hi Wayne, do you mean the top locker stays? If so not too sure on the size but dont think they make a smaller size than them anyway. If you need some just email the office and they will be able to send you some out.
      The openings of the doors and the doors themselves are cut carefully by hand with a jigsaw, then i use a slotter for the t trim to be inserted.
      They do have a wurth account but might be worth asking them if your selling as we deals with alot of different companies.
      Hope all this helps and many thanks for watching.

    Hi Dan Love the videos, must washed 10 or so now, wondered what kind of blade you use in your jigsaw also do you have a close fitting base on the jigsaw to prevent the laminate chipping.

      It was a single lip t trim or t section it's sometimes called. You could use double lipped it wouldn't make any difference really. Should be able to find some on ebay.

    When you cut doors with jigsaw is that wide enough for the rubbers without making joint wider?

    • @dantheman321
      @dantheman321  3 роки тому +1

      Not quite following you on that one but if you mean is the width of the jigsaw blade wide enough to allow the frame and the door to have the knock on edging the no you need to take more off the door to allow for that. Hope this helps

    • @dantheman321
      @dantheman321  3 роки тому

      @@citroenrelaycampervanselfc9552 it all depends on what knock edging your using and the thickness of it. I think reimo do one which has a specific sized router but for the job but in this case I cut the hole out applied the knock on then drew around the offcut to make the door size. It was abit long winded but it worked👍

    • @dantheman321

      On this van the profile was plastic but it is usually aluminium. Yes we reused the wood as much as possible sometimes we had to cut a fresh piece but the doors needed making smaller as you say to allow for the t trim.
