Peace, brother. That was a sublime accounting of how God has made the religion easy for us. Instead of having to hold up old covenants, he's given us basically a get-out-of-jail-card by following the new covenant and the final testament. I enjoyed the discussion and the portrayal of the issue to adherence of religion when you follow people instead of the scripture. Because if you follow the scripture, then you would have had to uphold all the commandments, the spirit, and the letter of the law. Very enjoyable. Peace be upon you.
When Jesus is quoted to have said in Mark 1:15 "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the GOSPEL". Is the GOSPEL he referring to as Matthew, Mark, Luke or John? Of course not because those books weren't written until around 70 CE. Therefore when the Quran uses the word INJEEL, it's referring to the GOSPEL Jesus had, not the Books that were later called "The Gospel According to..." or "The New Testament"
I. Quran 5 :47 : "So let the followers of the Gospel judge according to what God has sent down in it. Those who do not judge according to what God has revealed are lawbreakers." Quran 5 :47 The Quran referring to the gospel does not mean that the Quran is endorsing it. The Quran is making it clear to the followers of the gospel to judge "what was revealed" in it, which is "from God." Not what others have added to it. Jesus was a "walking gospel.". He didn't preach Mark, Matthew, Luke, or John. Despite the Bible being tampered with, it still contains the words of God. But it also contains man-made words. In other words, it contains the truth (the words of God). But it also contains falsehood (the words of man). The Quran is asking Christians "to judge," i.e., to dispense justice, by distinguishing and separating truth (God's words) from falsehood (man-made words) that are present in their Bible. You must not mix truth with falsehood. II . The Quran correcting the Bible is proof that the Bible has been tampered with. The Quran's correction of the Bible also proves that it is a work of God. Muhammad (pbuh) is illiterate and does not know how to read or write. The Quran was verbally revealed from God to Muhammad (pbuh) through the angel Gabriel. Examples the Quran correcting the Bible : 1.The Bible says God needed to rest, but the Quran says God never got tired. 1.1 Bible: "By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work" (Genesis 2 :2) "For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day." (Exodus 20 :11) 1.2 Quran : "Indeed, We created the heavens and the earth and everything in between in six Days, and We were not ˹even˺ touched with fatigue." (Quran 50:38) 2. The Bible says Aaron leads his people to idol worship after Moses has left for a brief period. Aaron made the gold into the shape of a calf, and they worshipped the golden calf. The Quran rebukes this. 2. 1 Bible: "Aaron answered them, “Take off the gold earrings that your wives, your sons and your daughters are wearing, and bring them to me.” 3 So all the people took off their earrings and brought them to Aaron. He took what they handed him and made it into an idol cast in the shape of a calf, fashioning it with a tool. Then they said, “These are your gods,Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt.” ( Exodus 32 :2-4) 2.2 Quran : The Quran says a Sâmiri, (or the man from Samaria), was a hypocrite who led the Children of Israel into idol-worship. Not Aaron. "Allah responded, “We have indeed tested your people in your absence, and the Sâmiri has led them astray. So Moses returned to his people, furious and sorrowful. He said, “O my people! Had your Lord not made you a good promise? Has my absence been too long for you? Or have you wished for wrath from your Lord to befall you, so you broke your promise to me?”They argued, “We did not break our promise to you of our own free will, but we were made to carry the burden of the people’s ˹golden˺ jewellery, then we threw it ˹into the fire˺, and so did the Sâmiri.”Then he moulded for them an idol of a calf that made a lowing sound. They said, “This is your god and the god of Moses, but Moses forgot ˹where it was˺ !” (Quran 20 :85-88) Aaron is a prophet of God. God will never accuse His own prophet of idol worship. 3. Moses miracles: Apart from turning his staff into a snake (which both the Bible and Quran agree on), his other miracle is changing the skin of his hand. 3..1 Bible. The first time Moses took out his hand, the skin was leprous. The second time, it was restored : "Then the Lord said, “Put your hand inside your cloak.” So Moses put his hand into his cloak, and when he took it out, the skin was leprous-it had become as white as snow. "Now put it back into your cloak,” he said. So Moses put his hand back into his cloak, and when he took it out, it was restored, like the rest of his flesh." (Exodus 4 :7-8) 3.2 Quran: Moses, who was dark-skinned, was asked to put his hand under his armpit. When he took it out it was shining white. "And put your hand under your armpit, it will come out ˹shining˺ white, unblemished, as another sign,"(Quran 20 :22). The Bible version will demonstrate that Moses had leprosy. In the past, those who had leprosy were shunned. Before Moses could take out his hand again, all the people must have already fled. In the Quran, Moses hand was shining white without any flaws (unblemished), which will attract people to his miracle. 4. There are many others, but these are sufficient proofs that the Bible has been corrupted or tampered with. Muhammad (pbuh) could not have known them and made subtle corrections to the Bible. God knows best.
Misinformation of Hebrew or Aramaic into english could be the reason! And Quran supercedes previous scriptures so we should hold the quran even after reading previously english translations of God's Revelations.
