tried with ampilube 3. It doesnt work. I installed it and everything. then when i go to obs to record again it only records the dry sound without any effect
This worked for me. Now i put the guitar rig sound into discord, obs, audacity, etc. Only thing i can't do is put the sound in my speakers (which are connected to the PC, not the interface).
Thank you very much for making this video! I had it working on Windows 11 and had it working, but for some reason ASIOVADPRO MIX OUT isn't receiving audio. Can you or someone provide a possible solution?
@steveskull I had it working, and then, for some reason, it stops. I had to do a restore of my laptop and reinstall the software, and then it worked. Now, it has stopped working again. I'm using Widows 11, Guitar Rig 5, and Prism Live Studio software and a Focusrite 6i6. Thank you very much for your reply to my email.
@steveskull It's possible, but I'm using an Asus zenbook laptop that is only 1 year old. I'm wondering if it is due to Windows 11. Thank you for your help!
thanks, worked. now i can record with obs and i can hear desktop audio in same device too. nice
how do u solve the backing track going through the guitar rig 5. it has delay effects also
You gave me what I was looking for, than hit me with some Randy Rhoads. Rock on!
What about amplitube? Will it works too?
It shouldn't matter what guitar software you use. All you can do is try!
@@steveskull it works! thankyou so much Steve.
Worked perfectly for me, thank you!
Thank you, man! You saved my life ☺
Thanks, works great with GR7, awesome!!!
Awesome! Does it work with dual-input guitars? Mine is an acoustic guitar that uses 2 separate cables.
No clue. I don't have that, so best way to find out is to try it with yours.

Sorry for the late reply. Any traction on your issue? Apmplitude works on the same premise as Guitar Rig, so not sure what thew issue would be.
Very good info, subbed 😊
but how do you separate mic from guitar input in obs now?
Hmm. I have a mic into a separate mixer that's plugged into a USB port. Then add that to OBS as the mic. Hope that info helps!
can I still play youtube vidoe for backing tracks?
Pretty sure you can. I haven't tried that yet but the logic in me says yes, that should work.
@@steveskull thanks mate will try it latter, still waiting foir my audio interface to ship

Hi there! So it was working the first time you set it up? And now it is not?

@@coopdr that sounds like your laptop's hardware might be the issue. if you can, try a different laptop or use a PC to see if you have the same issue.
