I`ve done boxing and I dabbled in marshal arts a bit as well but now I`m getting on a bit (66 tomorrow ) and a bit over weight people like him look at me and think easy target. The last person like him I came across got a big shock, every time he sees me now he is nice and pleasant. You did right there well done. 👍👍
I am in a similar situation , youngsters are in a no win situation , as if they beat up old men like us the courts are hard on them as we are seen as vulnerable , but equally if they unwisely pick on an oldy (with some useful skills) they could easily end up that their mates will tease them for getting beaten up by an old man .

Yeah that is one of the WORST Security Guards I have ever seen. He has completely got the wrong end of the stick on what it means to be one. He is a massive risk and liability - if he worked in a place with more Security interactions he would have been gone a long time ago. As Security, you are not paid to CREATE Security incidents, you are paid to resolve them. He lost his greatest asset, which was the ability to talk to you in a decent manner and therfore help him do his job in a way that everyone leaves happy and a way that enhances the image of the business. As Security, you are also paid to defend the Company's image, not bring more trouble to its door as he has. I hope this is investigated by the company.

I used to go to that place, it was a high security pharmaceutical company, i won't go into any more detail in case it still is but wow, what a knob, first point of contact and that is what you get, if i was approached like that he would have been in the back of an ambulance, the people i met and dealt with in there were really nice, i don't think they would have put up with that kind of attitude.

That security guard was well within his rights to tell him to leave the premises. If he refuses than reasonable force can be used. BEV would have ended up second best if the police had come out and seen that video.

That security guard was well within his rights to tell him to leave the premises. If he refuses than reasonable force can be used. BEV would have ended up second best if the police had come out and seen that video.
Performed Contractors work at this site recently. Happy to report that guard wasn't there. Also met Matt, lovely guy. They work with radioactive reagents there, probably why they're a bit jumpy.
