  • As part of Howard Universities Virtual Professional Development Workshop and Lecture Series, Dr. Wesley Rothman presents, "From 'Peer Review' to Collaborative Revision:' Revising How We Empower Revision Within and Beyond the Classroom."Wesley Rothman is the author of SUBWOOFER (New Issues Poetry and Prose, 2017) and Wanted (forthcoming). Recent poems of his appear in The Hopkins Review, Southern Humanities Review, The Slowdown podcast hosted by Major Jackson, and the Montreal International Poetry Prize anthology. His book reviews and criticism have appeared in Publishers Weekly, The Rumpus, Rain Taxi Review of Books, Boston Review, and Callaloo. He has taught composition, creative writing, and literature for the past twelve years and holds advanced degrees from Emerson College and Catholic University. His scholarly research involves poetic craft and social responsibility in the work of Gwendolyn Brooks, Robert Penn Warren, and an array of contemporary poets.
