2004 40 anniversary gt mustang 5 speed competition orange with 100k miles on it just bought it 2 days ago it’s my first manual car thanks for the video man 👌🏾💯🔥
Got the same car with about 123,000 mines silver.
How much you pay?
Orange..was that one of the anniversary colors?
same here just got my first car today! nice car with only 89k miles
do you recommend for someone whos just learning and the car is going to be their first manual car
Just found your channel, Man. Love the content and seeing someone out there giving the SN-99s some love.
Great job running through this and your on point. Look forward to seeing more.
Much appreciated!
we need more vids like this big bro! 🤘🏽
You the man bro thank you!
*HOPE THIS VIDEO HELPS YOU GUYS OUT!*
Subbed up very knowledgeable about mustangs I like that especially being I have one also and trying to upgrade as much as I can you are spot on with this video appreciate your work bruh!
Nice! Do more like these! I don't have a GT I just enjoy new edge content 🔥🔥
More to come!
Nice vid 👌
The plug for the x pipe was so helpful, thank you. Could not find a cat less x pipe anywhere
No problem 👍
Great video
Bought a 04 GT 5spd yesterday (my first mustang) and drove it 4hours home from Pensacola to Baton Rouge and got 24mpg with 3.73 gears, custom cai, bbk 75mm tb, headers, full exhaust, stage 2 clutch, short throw shifter, & dyno tuned by Pan Handle Performance
I run a 99 gt convertible. And it's a solid ride
Tires are overlook but the right tires can totally change how the car handles, take off and smoothness of the ride....gears and tires will make your car ride like a different beast. I had a v6 firebird back in the day and i put wider sport tires all the way around and when cornering at speed the rear ind may swing out but the wider tires pulls the tail end back in line greatly
Super usefull
Noti gang I’m whippin a 2005 mustang gt
Borlas has the best sound on new edges had flowmasters and pypes before finally getting a borla catback
I have a yellow 2001 New Edge 💛 love it
Ayeee made it in the video 🤘🏼
noti gang my fav mustang has to be a 2004 mustang gt
Eibach is the best lowering spring they come factory on the terminator 👍🏼
just copped a beautiful standard '96 mustang gt conv with a cervinis bodykit for my first big boy toy. Got it stored for the salty winter but will be on jacks until it's time to rip in the spring. Going to do the cams, exhaust, rear gears and full service and thinking of swapping the chrome rims to murder it.
Just got a auto 2004 gt deluxe. Wanted a manual but I couldn’t be more happy tbh
I have a 2006 lincoln Town car 4.6 2v. My drive shaft is a lot longer than the Mustang. Someone on here was telling me that having 4.10 gears on a town car is like having 3.73 gears on a Mustang. What would be your take on that.
I was also planning on upgrading my timing chain ⛓️. But since once I'm there, I'd figured might as well and upgrade to an eltric water pump and some stage 2 cams and some better oil pump gears. Any thoughts
Is it worth buying a SCT used pre loaded locked tuner then have car return to stock for your car??
If you’re ballin on a budget, I think the pypes catback is a great option for under $500. I have stingers and my buddy has pypes and they’re honestly not that different in terms of sound
@Sid The sloth pypes pype bomb are the mufflers he is talking about
I have Pypes Violators they sound good
2002 mustang gt just bought it 120000 miles awesome ride first mustang
Just bought a 04 black mustang due to needed a whip for work, it’s the V6 it is straight pipped but I’m looking to do engine work soon. Wish it was the 4.7
Can you just change to 4.10 gears without buying anything else but the 300$ and does it hurt top speed.
1999 GT automatic 35th anniversary edition. 182,000 miles. Flowmaster muffers and a JVC bluetooth stereo. Runs great
1998 v6, love her to death
Finally looked up what an FRS is lol.
Tires are definitely a huge upgrade especially with 4.10 gears I used to spin all the way through 2nd now I don’t spin at all
I have been considering doing a coyote swap for my 02 GT but I'm going to go cheap for now and buy the 3.73 gear upgrade and lowering kit and subframe connectors, And do the coyote swap when the 2V dies. I thought about replacing the K member with the tubular aftermarket one because it'll be necessary for the coyote swap and it's suppose to be lighter than the OEM. I have other plans but they'll be done over time. I don't care much for turning my GT into a noise maker and having the neighbors come after me with pitchforks. Another youtuber suggested replacing the cams. You can get into a lot of money doing these upgrades.
I have a roush axle back exhaust. It's the best exhaust
coool
Hey bro, I love your car and your videos, I’m picking up a white 04 gt myself next week and there’s not many new edge performance channels out there. So I appreciate your time and effort making these.
However, I’d like to offer some constructive criticism…Please cut back on all the extra talking in the start of the videos and between main parts of the video. Many times recently I’ve been trying to show part of one of your videos to someone, but it’s hard to find the exact part because the majority of the video will be you talking about something facing the camera. Often times you get talking about a part and your passion really kicks in and you spend a little too much time on each component lol.
Don’t take this the wrong way, you’re doing a great job and a service for us essentially. But your viewership and number of subscribers will increase if you make the videos more short and concise or more focused on the actual car if it has to be long.
Making a script or at least an outline of your talking points will help you get your point across faster without having to think on the spot or repeat yourself. This will grab viewers’ attention sooner and hold it for longer.
Also get some B roll footage for when you are going to be just talking. Like slow closeup shots of the supercharger and other engine components, the wheels, interior, etc. Watch some channels with hundreds of thousands or millions of subs and note how they use b roll footage to keep people interested while they’re just talking.
These things will really advance your channel and please don’t take this offensively. Keep up the good work!
How are you doing with your new edge bro?
I found one pretty clean on my city but I can’t decide if it’s worthy or not
@@angelesrojas5146 I love it. Mine doesn’t have cats and is very loud. Sounds amazing but being so loud with a manual trans, it can be obnoxious lol. Might get a catted H/X pipe to replace the catless H pipe in it now.
What about a shift kit and sifter??? Headers???
Can u do the same mods to a 2004 v6 mustang
Would it be ok to put 3.55 gears in a N/A mustang if you play on super charging in the future
Yes, 3.73 best for turbo
Marty tune is where it's at (unless you have a Dyno near you)
I just bought an 04 mustang gt
I don’t think lmr has them but I might be going with a set of 3:90 gears, to get right between the 3:73 and 4:10s..
Go no bigger than a 3:73 that’s what my tuner told me when I did a gear swap.
@@79chevy901 ok, I’ll take that in consideration…I do a ton of research before I pull the trigger on anything…Thanks..
@@NewEdgeDesigns Plus I did a tune, Steeda under drive pulleys, ARHs, and Steeda cold air intake.
Hi I have a 1994 GT mustang automatic. Which I plan to leave automatic . How can I wake it up a little? Without needing a computer tune . Thanks
4.10 gears
He just told you.
Watch the video
The borla exhaust is now $1,071.99 unbelievable
Ik 🤣 crazy
Add Sprint Booster V3 to the list
2004 mustang convertible😁
I’m not super early but I got a 2004 mustang gt
Just got me a 2000 gt 4.6 mustang
congrats bro!!
Sorry, but I gotta say the Roush axle back exhaust sounds the best
1999 Ford Mustang GT, 35th Anniversary,Manual transmission Lazer Red, 38,719 Original Miles
But I'm 410 gears is only effective on the launch if you don't increase the traction to match you're going to waste first and second gear spinning tires and lose shuron and the span of the first and second gear I'm not gain much after launch affecting the powerband kicking it at a lower speed I'm shorter span on the lower
1999 mustang gt 4.6😎
2000 Ford Mustang
Wheels should be on the list since for stock cars you’ll have to buy new rims and that’s another grand
04 coupe, base model with a bore, cam, couple other fun things and a terrible paint job
04 town car. Mustangs grand daddy
2002 gt mustang 5 speed manual
3.73 best for any situation...
Get 255/60/15 if you cant fit the 275 the 50 series looks ugly in my opinion
2004 v6 mustang
Your exactly what I was looking for bro! Just purchased a v6 mustang and trying to learn. What gears should I change to? Also what exhaust system for my v6?
What gears come stock? Tbh man best thing to do with a V6 is but a V8 in it. Ik that’s what everyone says but it’s the truth.
@@EarsPOV can’t spend the money right now. Not looking for extreme fast . Just little things like cold air intake, any little thing that would increase horsepower. Thks
Cost / Performance / Quality champions *NA VERSION
BBK 70mm Throttle Body with Ported Elbow (75mm too large for NA 2V)
MagnaFlow X Pipe
Borla or MagnaFlow Catback Exhaust
WeaponX Resistorless Spark Plugs
Mission Systems Ignition Coils
3:73 Gears
Progress Progressive Rate Lowering Springs
KYB AGX Shocks
Steeda Short Throw Shifter
SR Performance Intake
Diablosport Tune
Done!
Slp is louder
Didn't like the 3.73 gears, rpms were to high for me on the highway. I shoulda got the 3.55
Are you 5spd or auto?
Best money spent is to rear gear the differential. I had a 90 GT automatic with 2:90 rear end and I changed it out to World Class T-5 five speed and 3:55 and bam!!…….what a difference. If I had it to do over I would have upped it a notch to 3:73 rear gears. Also spend the money and get an under hood triangular brace which stiffens the strut towers to the firewall AND have subframe connectors welded in……these Mustangs are old guys and the years of chassis flexing has crippled the handling capabilities.
20 likes, come on!
S550, new edge gang. American muscle little pricey.
yea they are lol
Bro don’t switch to that 373 that’s the best gear
410 gears are not gas friend ly
they are not lol
I Still get 18 mpg average :)
@@angelgjr1999 quick question I want to buy a 2004 mustang gt manual but I’m not sure how many mpg it gets or what type of octane gas i should pump
@@astrozzy738 These mustangs take 87 octane unless it has an aftermarket tune. Gas mileage varies in how you drive and what mods the car has.
@@angelgjr1999 alright thanks also, I guess I’ve been talked down of buying one as a first time car. I’m by the Chicago area so I do get snow yearly. If you get snow have you had any problems? Or what would your opinion be?
97 gt with 04 pi swap.
Hi everyone
I just got fired currently searching for s coding job just saving up for a 1999 ford mustang gt i found one for 4990$ and its 160k mileage its fine if this last 10k miles in not buying it for me
Coding pays good money you’ll have one in no time! 🤝
Bro ur not only gamer but car guy?
Yup. Car guy too haha
@@EarsPOV gun guy? Also? Have to ask haha I’m all 3 n broke bc of it 😂😂😂😂
I drive 2003 gt
After trying every mod on my 02gt.. and really not gaining anything.. my advice.. Forced induction.. Vortech V3 .. don’t waste ur money on any of the mods this kids mentioned.. honestly!
My uncle has an 04 Mustang GT and he's giving it to me for $4500
how many miles?
Cat delete !
sorry but for all this 4k is just not worth it. just buy a supercharger for that money you’ll be a lot happier.
Stupid comment. That supercharger is gonna lose a lot of power if you can't put it down
Terrible
What you recommend? 4.10 gears & CAI? 🤣
You can get kenda kr20a for 151 a piece for the rear 275's do the job fine id rather spend 300 for 2 instead of 500
Tbh I got a 99 mustang spent more than 15k$ on it so far.. I can tell you better ways to spend 4k$ or even 1k$ on these cars and get more for your buck just from personal expierence… good video and good ideas but it won’t yield the results yall are truly looking for other than having a car that looks like every other stang that’s on the internet.
These are performance mods. Not exterior mods for a car show.
Just sold me on the device 🫡
