Jessie St Louis I appreciate your adventure Vlogs keep it coming I'm up in years can't hike like I used too it was a great joy to be outdoors in God country love it I swam in Kern river kaweah, San Joaquin river , Merced , tuolumne, Stanislaus Santa Inez river camped fish fun
Great video! There is no more refreshing feeling than jumping into an icy cold river in the sierras on a hot summer day. You feel refreshed and wide awake for the rest of the day. The best feeling!
Can't wait to get back to Sequoia! One of, if not THE favorite National Park for us! We've done Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, Escalante Grand Staricase and the Chirichua's so far this year, and we're off to Alaska in 5 days. Thanks!
great vid man and thanks for the memories. haven't been there in years but I use to camp at Buckeye above Potwisha for about 15 years straight. good times jumping off the bridge and banging pots n pans at the black bears.
@@JesseStLouis Yes it is. In the town of three Rivers I lived across from the Olive Store and I understand it is a Restaurant now. I use to hike all over North Fork and South Fork. I am sure everything has change now. A great place for young one to live. There is always something to do. I have travel to many places and even live there like Thailand and the Philippines.
This was two years ago, but I just love your videos. I live in Hanford, California, a good two-hour drive to the Kaweah Lake. I never visited those areas you are showing, but now I am so interested in going to see those places you featured in your videos of our Kaweah Lake.
Thats awesome. I get cautious around watetfalls. You jumped in right next to it... my son wanted to swim under the roaring falls in kings canyon zumwalt meadows area. I didn't let him. :)
After watching a few videos, I’m glad you showed the Buckeye Flat Campground. It is a great campsite with the water being so close to the camp. Please remember to pick up your trash and do not graffiti it. It is a beautiful place to visit and lets keep it that way.
That is all now burned. We live just outside the park right on the Middle Fork. Just yesterday we were released from a 25 day Mandatory Evacuation. 134 square miles burned. Few things are sadder than when someone knocks on your door and asks for River access to look for their child’s body. Hopefully the Park Service will never let it get so badly overgrown again. Cheers.
@@JesseStLouis It’s been a life altering experience. I spent the greater part of my adulthood in the parks. 45 years. 23 of them I ran the trash Service from Cedar Grove to Giant Forest and everything in between. I don’t know how I’m going to react when they finally reopen the Park. I have a deep abiding love for these Mountains.
Was up at Dorst Creek last week. That creek is usually a small slow stream. Last week it had lots of water. Went to Hume lake for a day, and unfortunately it's still green from algae. Was hoping that would get filtered out. Went swimming anyways. Felt refreshing.

Great job showing us some of the beauty of sequioa national Forest. Thanks!
There's so much to explore there. It really is an amazing part of the world. Thanks.
That is National Park not National Forest.
Another great video - quality is insane. Love living vicariously through your work.
Thanks so much Darren, I really appreciate your feedback.

I use to live in Three Rivers and I swim most of these rivers and hike all over. I loved it, and I miss it...…….

Cool, i'll hopefully be hitting both those spots on this trip sometime in the next 14 months
Sweet video brother..👍👍👍
Thanks homie!
You should try Curtain Falls, very crazy hike.
I've heard of it, looks fun
@@JesseStLouis definitely take lots of water. You lose 2000 ft in elevation and lots of switchbacks.

It's good to be cautious with waterfalls, especially kids

Crazy. But last summer the river was so warm.

Camped at Buckeye flat with family. Most of the times camping we stayed at 3 rivers
I love it ty
Thank you
Nice video .the water is freeze or no ?
Kaweah is on my short list of rafting destinations. And I think you meant February, not May. I'm up in Truckee and February was nuts. Pow days galore
Good stuff brother! Just started a channel myself. Love the nature videos! Cheers!!!
Do you happen to remember the addresses for this trail location I’m planning to go this Saturday !! And would love to go there
I’m in Southern California would love to go on an adventure with you
I'm currently in New Zealand but I'll keep you in mind for when I return
@@JesseStLouis I’ll remind you either ways ☺️😂

Oh yeah
Raging water is obvious but calm water is even more dangerous
Tomorrow go thrre river one week

Always good to cool off
Man, 7 1/2 to 8 feet is not so deep for jumping in legs straight like that!
It is if you always pick your feet up as you hit the water
