I can't wait to bring Kyler here in 2 weeks! Thanks for the preview! Ps...If I have a vote...I vote that you use the footage from Sunday. Maybe be elusive in regard to name or location but you looked so in your element...I vote you share.
Hey Jesse, Hi. What is the water like there at about 4:00 min.; the temp? You said you thought it might be quite cold, but you don't seem to be uncomfortable. What is the ambient air temp there as well? Just wondering. Looks really nice around the area.
@@JesseStLouis Just a relative guesstimate was all I was thinking about. I figure you don't carry temp measuring devices for water with you. But many thanks for the ambient temp. I just wanted to get an idea of the contrast. Looked like you all had a good time.
@@JesseStLouis Thanks so much, Jesse. I've been up that way and I like the area a lot. Beautiful and peaceful when it is quiet. Quite majestic as you point out. Actually, amazing, really.
priscilla torres I kind of know where Jesse went. The upper peppermint is by the Ponderosa. That’s where I camp. You would have to drive to Stoney creek
@@JesseStLouis Nothing wrong with showing your face, but when you are in these cool areas, it would be nice to see more of that area. Instead of a just quick flash shot of that area. That would be my only issue with your videos that I otherwise really enjoy.

@Paul Pratt I started from the parking lot of Stoney Creek Lodge and went downstream
Been at work for about 45min and this video came out at the right time for me, beginning the day wit the infamous big dawg. Lol
Hell yeah
That rusty rustic water you always hear about. Looks bootiful
I went there camping in about 1986. Water was kinda cold, but warmed up in late day. Great place to swim.
So with those tannins, you're literally swimming in nature's tea cup. Awesome!!
Getting tea bagged after I get all up in dat...
Incredible hike . Love your channel
Thanks Matt
So Dope. Love these videos and using them to find spots to take my kids :)

I worked at Upper Stony Creek campground. Visitors should be aware that people have tragically died in those pools. They are deceptively inviting.
I will be there soon.
Have fun!
I know what you mean, sequoia national forest is just beautiful
awesome as usual.
Thanks bro
Be careful here. Lots of drownings in Stony Creek.
hopefully.

Air temp was mid 80s. Not sure on the water but warmer than Paradise Creek.

@@AliasJimWirth I'd say high 60s to low 70s on the water temp

Keep the cool vids coming ✌
You got it
I like your videos and would like to go to that place some day with my family. Could you tell me where that place is and how to get there?
It's in the beginning of this video
How do you get there? Is there a trail head that leads you to the granite bowl and slides? Is it the Stony Creek Trailhead?
Just came back from out there. Upper peppermint. Water is freezing
joe cruz was the campsite far from the hike ?

Awesome video! :)
🤙thanks
Are any of your sequoia hikes good for beginners?? If so which one? I've been busy getting lost with your videos. Thank you.
100 Giants Trail is super easy and beautiful
@@JesseStLouis thank you Jesse!!! I'm addicted to your videos.

@@JesseStLouis all good, thank you so much for the vids keep it up!

i worked at stoneycr lodge for a season. that granite is not to be fucked with
Hufffff #1😅😅😅😅😅😅
How do you get here?
At the beginning of the video I mentioned the location of the start of the trail.
1 hour hike down hill.
there was ‘gods bath’ in sequoia I didn’t have 2csee u might b near
Might be good to pan around the area, rather than always showing your face, thusly, limiting a view of the scenery
Yeah I always hate it when Anthony Bourdain or Bear Grylls show their faces on their own shows

Sorry, I've been working on doing that more lately
@@JesseStLouis No worries. I'm not tying to be critical, it was just a suggestion.
