Love it! Awesome as always, Matt. It was a blast spending the day with you and your team! Montana had a blast!
A girl called Montana, delivering a trailer from Texas Pride that uses a star spangled remote. That is America!
Matt, my husband has been an insulator here in West Texas for decades. It is common for he and the crew to do vacuum jobs. They vacuum out all the old dirt, insulation, and such from attics. It could save you from tearing out those ceilings. I'm guessing you've had generations of raccoons, possums, foxes, etc, living in those attics. There are probably insulation companies near you who will do a vacuum job for you. Then you can re-insulate, and clear caulk between those ceiling boards.
The dirt needs to be packed otherwise the pond will be muddy and water won't be clear. For context I've worked for a pond management company. Love the content.
And thus the reason for Matt to buy the abandoned resort. He finally had an excuse his wife will say yes for buying a backhoe.
Shoutout to the texas pride delivery girl, she knew her stuff and was an expert at explaining the trailer. Solid company!
It's cool seeing that backhoe. I retired from Cat 3 years ago. Back in the early 80's, I designed the original buckets, bucket linkages, the extendable stick, and several other systems on the backhoe loader. A lot has changed since then, but I was there at the very beginning. It's always cool seeing the backhoe on TV shows and movies knowing I played a big role in designing it.
Matt, you should have a clay bottom in the pound to help keep the water from seeping into the ground.
love the no renovation- renovation episodes. unlimited content with the resort could have us watching for years to come!
As someone who watched almost every off the ranch video, I am super pumped Matt finally got his backhoe he wanted after all those years. Congrats and keep up the great content dude!
Montana is impressive with her knowledge and sense of humor. She is a keeper.
I can just imagine what a colab with someone like Heavy D on cleaning up place and making a pond would look like or a pool restoration colab with others can't wait to see who all helps and what all you do these videos are awesome.
probably the only series on youtube that will have over 100 episodes, and will still get steady views
I could watch a four hour long video of this. I just love seeing it all come together slowly. I've been watching this channel for years and I know with Matts determination, he'll turn that resort into something special. Can't wait so see it someday.
See the light in Matt's eyes every time he says "some day".
First off Montana was cutie , second The Desperado is going to be a beautiful place once again when you all get done with it , I can just imagine the main gate being the Demolition Ranch eagle logo
Idea for you. Assign volunteers to particular rooms for clean up. Then for each room or area they take care of, they get a credit for one day stay when the resort is opened.
There might be dirt over that rock for a reason. The water might drain out of your pond through it. We put clay liners in the bottom of a pond that has a lot of rock or sand to prevent that. Standard is 2' of clay.
I hope this resort becomes everything you dreamed it to be Matt 😊
