Great video! I appreciate that you show in your videos that dyi projects can be a struggle and it’s not as easy as tv shows make it look lol
I installed the Delfi box 5 years ago and it was a pain, the front of the box hit the body and the lines had to be custom made. I’m glad there are actual direct fit parts now 👍🏼

I did the same box about a year or so ago. No complaints. I added that frame stiffening plate too though…

I did mine a few months ago. Night and day better. Just waiting on a cam shaft to upgrade the 302.

I’ll be doing that upgrade next on my bronco probably will be a little while before I get to it though, great video thank you for posting it

I found out when I did mine that there is a difference between the OEM rebuild and the replacement box. I have a 351w and had clearance issues with my radiator with the new box you could buy. Had to find a rebuild to make it fit. OEM is more oval, the new is square.

I’ve heard that, I actually didn’t think mine would fit but it has plenty of room

Would you ever add a Prius electric sterring system to your Bronco? Non-mechanical power sterring for about $150, all you need to do is splice it in somewhere on the steering shaft and then mount it to a stationary surface (like the wheel well).

You need to add the reinforcement plate to your frame . It helps with steering

Did you end up putting a steering stabilizer shock back in? I know at one point you removed it when putting in new steering components, i.e. drag link, etc.

No, I never put it back on because it drives so well without it

@@NashvilleEarlyBronco Nice! I have a similar setup going into my rig. It will be nice to not have to have to put one back in.
