Best of luck to the Elevated Spirits owner; seems like a great guy trying to get by in "the game." Better selection than a lot of stores I've been to.
I had a good time hanging out with him for a while. This is definitely the type of store I like to support.
@@Brewzle you pronounced it correctly it’s WIN, Arkansas just spelled different
I agree
Unfortunately most of the town was destroyed in a tornado a few days ago. Don’t know if his store survived
No shit?
I have a bit of a heavy heart watching this after seeing Wynne devastated by the tornado Thursday. They are good people. Words can't describe what they must be going through.
Yeah, that sucks
True 😂😢
Loved the owner who pulled all the bottles from the back 👏🏽🙏🏽
I liked the atmosphere of that second store. The owner speaking with you and I woulda grabbed up a bottle of that Rock Town Cask Strength too. Cheers
Your content is setting the bar for all other current whiskey channels, knowledge, personality and humour, you have it all.
Much love from Ireland 🙏
Thank you!
Sláinte!
He's right, Brewzle
True 😂😮
That redemption rye is the best thing you've seen this entire trip.
I feel like I missed out
Iirc, redemption is an MGP
Old Ezra 7 was the biggest miss IMO. I have had both and while I love MGP juice the Ezra7 is just flat out better. Obviously this is just my opinion, but if you havent tried the Old Ezra 7 I would try and get ur hands on it.
awesome series, glad this makes you happy! finding old t shirts makes me happy so cheers!
As you referenced, these bourbon hunting videos are fantastic - hope you can do more! I'm feeling a BIG bottle waiting for you near Springfield, MO - good luck!
perfect timing to watch on my 30 min break! im not a bourbon drinker but every time i’m in a liquor i take a few minutes to check out their selections
That Knob Creek single is just so good. I've gone through three bottles of it and given two as gifts. Top notch stuff.
TJ @Brewzle you are quickly becoming one of my favorite whiskeytubers! I really enjoy the whiskey hunting videos because that is what it is all about.
I rarely watch videos this long start to end but I definitely did with this one. Interesting all the way through. Hope the best for your channel!
14:39 lol...perfect effect! Only other would be a gif of Napoleon Dynamites brother "Yes!". haha!
Man I dont know a damn thing about bourbon, and I’m still here watching this video. Just a testament to your charisma man, you got a new sub here 👍
I hope all are safe in Wynne Arkansas. I never heard of the place until this video, and now the horrible tornado. Love to the people there.
Holy crap!- Porter’s for the win!! NICE find! I agree on the leaving some for the next hunter.
Watched a couple of your videos and I’m enjoying them! Just subscribed and looking forward to more!
Nice run on the hunt !!! Best of luck to all those stores. Those are some nice folks.
Enjoyed this video way more than I thought I would.
As a Colorado resident I've been wondering about the Axe and Oak. It's distilled here, aged only 3 years, but Colorado is rough on aging because of the major weather swings during the year and dry air, so I see a lot of younger whiskeys produced locally. Maybe I'll grab a bottle and see!
Same Old Moses is from WanderFolk Distillery in Guthrie, OK. I’m going to tour their distillery next weekend. Looking forward to trying that line out. 5:28
I'm a Distiller at Rock Town Distillery and personally dumped that bottle you bought. I'm glad to see you took it home. Excited to see what you think of it. We recently dumped an 80 month old single barrel cask strength, #520, that is amazing. All distilled in in Arkansas with Arkansas grown grain and aged in Little Rock.
I’m so happy y’all got more palatable
@@imnotincontrolitsathrowawa3646 Some of out stuff is certainly not for everyone. It's hard for us to put out long aged whiskey. The demand is high and out production ability can barely keep up.
I enjoy these videos, it's great seeing all these little stores
The owner of the 2nd store seemed like a decent and honest guy who knows his thing about liquor/alcohol who's trying to make a living using his taste and knowledge. Wish him good luck, especially in AK. I wish I could support so far away.
Appreciate the hunt.
Fun to see these small towns.
Thank u sir!
Loving the bourbon hunting videos. I can watch these all day long!
True 😅😊
arkansas boy here sitting here watching ya hunt & sippin' on some russell's 10 year. happy holidays brotha 🖤🥃
I really enjoy your banter with the store personnel. Also, after living in Colorado Springs, I can say that Axe and Oak is a good bourbon. Not sure of their technique, but it is a good taste and they have a cool bar in town and do a mean smoked old fashioned.
Fun watching what’s available to you on your journey’s! I’m in California getting some nice things occasionally!
This was so cool! You went right through my area. Bypass Liquor and Shaker Beverage Shop are the good places in Harrison.
All throughout Arkansas we have amazing liquor store owners and bartenders. The bartenders led me to my favorite liquor store. Colonial!! Whiskey to the ceiling!!
Just started watching these and man, loved that you left those other Weller bottles for other folks to get a good deal.
Great job. Enjoy going on your journey with you and learning about different bourbons. I just started getting into bourbon. I have found a couple of good ones already, but I have been trying to find a bottle of Blanton's. I live in Michigan. I can't believe how hard it is to buy a bottle. People know what day stores get their shipments, and they line up and follow delivery trucks around I believe they are just trying to sell them and make money which suck because people like me just want to try it but can't find it 😢 maybe some day I will get lucky
Love this series I’m liking and watching all the way through
glad to see that your views on these videos is getting over 50 and 60 thousand, hope to see more content in the future, keep up the hussle.
I had a bottle of Knob Creek 9 single barrel engraved right off the line at the Beam distillery. I've become very fond of the taste.
Started drinking/learning about bourbon. Love your bourbon hunt vids.
Keep up the entertainment! I’ll be sharing with friends.
Some nice folks in Arkansas. A lot of friendly conversations. When you went to Porters and found that honey hole I cracked up when you threw that video in there. "Can I praise the lord?" LOL. Enjoying the hunts!
Hahaha it was funny! My editor is good
Always enjoy your bourbon hunt videos, TJ. Keep up the great content.
True ❤😂
New subscriber. My fiancé is the real hunter, but i appreciate the craft. On a solo trip to Oklahoma, i stopped into a store looking for the "good stuff" for him. Well they had a store pick of Blue Note for 45. So glad i picked that up , because it is one of his favorites now. Just not found in Ohio. (Found a single bottle in st louis) but if you get the chance, try it out. Thanks for the content! Happy Hunting!!!
I was laughing hard when he forgot to put the truck in park lol
Your channel has definitely helped me get more into bourbon, thank you for that!
Thank you for watching!
The redemption is super under rated man. Love their rye and bourbon
Should have bought it
For sure. And now it's long gone. 10 year cask strength MGP rye for under $100.
True 😅😊
I’m a Texas boy but I love me some small town Arkansas. Beautiful part of the country.
Love your videos TJ. Keep putting out great content and your fans will grow. If you build it they will come.
Nothing like a good bourbon hunt video on a Friday morning. Hope you're safe tonight, as the weather rolls into your state.
Morning? What part of the world are you from lol it's 16.33 with me currently
@@awholenewman155 I'm only an hour behind TJ, in the Central Time Zone, in Texas.
@@awholenewman155 You must be in or around the UK, I take it?
@@therepairsloth yes mate I'm in northern Ireland lol
@@awholenewman155 I hope to visit Ireland someday. Hope your day, well, evening now, is a good one!
I wish I could hunt as much as you do. The hunt is the most fun. I love to try em but seeing what you spot is fun
we love your road shows brother. thank you for all of your hard work.
Thanks!
True 😅😊
I heard Harrison and said nope 😂 glad you have the privilege of stopping there!
Great video, as always. I definitely appreciate seeing the smaller local stores holding their own on selection against the big chains. It’s good to see.
You got some good stuff Brewzle! Keep it up man!
A lot of allocated stuff at Crossroads Spirits in Benton AR if you are going thru Little Rock. Also several stores in Hot Springs are gems.
Nice haul! The Shaker's along 65 highway that you passed is not bad but my gem to go to is always Oscar's Liquor Store in North Little Rock, AR. Trust me when I tell you that the store almost looks abandoned from the outside but the staff is great and hidden gems are often found here (in case you ever travel up that way again) for a fantastic price (ex. Weller Reserve 750ml for $19.99). Happy hunting!
Just found you on UA-cam. Really enjoyed your videos. I also live in Alabama and I am a huge Auburn fan. Keep up the good work.
If you were hanging out with that guy in the red shirt from Damascus liquors, I would have asked if you guys were twins. It’s so hard to notice when you’re talking to them yourself, but that guy was pretty much your doppelgänger. Love it
These hunting videos are so great. Some of your interactions with the store owners are Gold, really cool to see. Thank you for the content
These videos are so relaxing and great. A fun view into parts of the country I’ve never experienced.
True 😢😅
Rocktown peated bourbon is one of my favorite bottles of whiskey! I hope you enjoy the cask strength!
Seems like some great people in Arkansas.
Love these videos!
I stumbled onto your channel a few weeks ago. After watching a few I subscribed. I am a budget buyer. I do like Evan Williams bib, hopefully I will find a few brands to try in my price range to try.
This is great stuff man. You need your own tv show
Great video!
Tell you what when it starts getting real hot outside you'll have to keep that A/C going in the car!
You'll find some popped bottles!
Thanks for the tips!
George's Liquor in Newport has a few hidden gems
I'm not to much of bourbon drinker, but I these videos are amazing. I relate so hard to the way you manage your money haha
These videos are cool. I'm sure they are a labor of love. Just subscribed.
I don't know diddly about any alcohol except beer... I do know, I always enjoy your vids and if you hit the lottery you must buy a small distillery and go to town!
Thank you for posting and keeping it real - cheers!
I work with a few guys based out of central KY who do packaging for Sazerac and they're bourbon aficionados ...I'm not a bourbon drinker but this was incredibly entertaining. I'm going to ask them about a few of the brands you purchased!
Passing on the Mckenna 10 year nooooo! I love it.
Thank you for makin these💪🏽 I hope they get you the money you deserve for spendin so much for our enjoyment😂
TJ, I could watch your bourbon hunting videos all day!
Thanks!
You got me as a subscriber! Doesn’t have to be hunting, just like the vibe!
i agree these videos are great, good content thank you
I enjoy my bourbon watching your content!! Appreciate it!
This reminds me of when I was young. Get off of the rigs and get two cases of wine and a case of whiskey and drive around the country. Had fun, but cost me a lot of money LOL
Haha! It's like I've been telling the discord: my trips to middle of nowhere Kansas are always fruitful
full honest you remind me of the legend bud spencer got my childhood nostalgia going strong
Western Sizlin was my family's jam when I was little
Love the idea of the best worst list but also have a all time best and best for the price and coolest bottle imo
Damn good content. Love seeing the people and the talks.
Love the hunting videos, keep them going
Hi I hope that store in Wynn is still standing and I hope you are safe where ever you are. I really liked your video.
That Same Old Moses is incredible. We had a viewer send one to us and did a review. It’s crazy unique. Cheers!
True 😮😅
I can say this...I bourbon hunt regularly in Maryland. As of late its been shit until this week. 2 days in a row now I found Blanton's
on the shelf for $75 and $85! I did spring for both since I have never seen any Blanton's just sitting on the shelf much less for just above MSRP.
I think the new distribution is getting things back in order for larger liquor stores that sell a lot of select product and now getting what they deserve!
Also able to get Blade and Bow, Baby Saz, Buffalo Trace, and an Old Elk Wheated for $50! Been a good week!
Good score!
Best videos! Finding the Weller for that price would have had me sweating thinking I was stealing it.
Next time your in Arkansas stop in bentonville there's alot of corporate offices and most of the liquor stores get allocated bottles!
I'm really digging these videos...this content is great.
Thanks!
Arkansan here. Glad to see there's some places here with decent booze.
Also, Charter 10 is MILES above Charter 8 imo. Definitely keep an eye out.
Great video bud! Really enjoy watching the hunts. And I would have been the guy to buy all the eagle rare and the Weller guess I’m part of the problem haha
We had 2 western sizzling in okc. Some the best memories I have
Great video 📹
Love these hunting videos TJ!
Thanks man!
Saw a case of the knob creek single barrel at the frisky whiskey in West Point ga
Liked this one, thank you!
The coolest thing you could do is start your own distillery… the brewzle way !!
The Porters liquors wow!!
I live in Colorado Springs and I’ve been to the Axe and Oak distillery a few times. It’s a really good bottle for the price ($42-ish)
Saw and grabbed a bottle of Evan Williams Green Label this morning because of this. Lol. Gotta grab those ultra rares! 😁
Love the truck man, I drive a 2010
