Loved the eerie vibe. Korn doesn't need to be hard and fast. They can be slow winding with peaks valleys while spinning round-and-round and still drop a classic like "Somebody Someone" that song was just a slow descent into chaos.

It's a pretty rare and original one for Korn.
Yeah IMO whenever a band You love comes out with new material, it always takes multiple times of hearing it to truly appreciate it. Rock on!!¡. Kick ass song!
Love the Jazz chords and how they make Jazz heavy and Cool. Because of Korn I had learned a lot of Jazz theory to make some heavy riffs on guitar. Most bands model the blues for chords but not Korn. There's is Jazz and Flemanco Spanish music theory and heavy hip hop rhythm. It's amazing that from the beginning at a young age these guys were mixing complex music styles in a artistic way with heart ❤️ and soul in it. In the past Rock never really found a way to mix up other complex styles into Rock. But Korn is showing up all the great musicians and ripping their theory of music up. Korn is my all time favorite. I have learned so much about music because of Korn.

Wow dude, I've just been rocking with you all night to Korn! And laughing and crying w you too. I watched some of your other Korn videos from sos - serenity of suffering and I get you. Or I guess Jonathan gets us, really! For me I went through the whole break up thing w my husband 10 yrs ago, but the person I've been in a relationship w now for the last almost 10 yrs now was just placed on hospice 6 weeks ago. Like wow, there's really nothing they can do for him now and at this point he has 6 months or less. I'm slowly watching him die now after 10 yrs. But my point is that Korn and especially Jonathan just somehow always have that certain way of putting everything you're going through and everything you're feeling at the time- he just always captures it all and puts it all into words when we can't. And he REALLY gets it. But it was cool to hang out w you listening to Korn tonight. At times you really made me laugh when I needed it most, so thank you. Keep up the cool reaction videos! And yes I did like and subscribe, finally after you begged me all night! You seem like a pretty cool dude

@@jonathanradnidge3368 Octane on Sirius xm played two songs from the new album the other day. Lost in Grandeur and Hopeless and Beaten. Hopeless and Beaten is very heavy, almost doom metal for Korn. These two songs got me so hyped but kind of bummed that I’ve already heard 4 of the 9 songs.

What in the WHOLE fuck is this? It’s like a medley of like 6 songs in different styles, and I would be down to listen to every full song in it. This is a new korn I can get down with.
This is my second favorite song on the Requiem. When I first heard it, I was absolutely blown away!! My favorite song is “Worse is on Its Way”. KoRn is my all time favorite band and always will be!!!
Interesting tidbit : the intro to this song is a reworking of the into to a song called "Kage" that was meant to be on The Paradigm Shift.

The beginning riff of this track was based off of a Paradigm Shift track called Kage. They called it that because it sounds like Rage Against The Machine!
Hopeless and Beaten is out right now, only a radio rip so I would wait. That song is their most unique to date, but it’s so FUCKING HEAVY
BUT tomorrow at 11PM on UA-cam, there will be a mass at a church that Korn is running. It’s for those who lost during the pandemic, and then they will be streaming songs off the new album as well. In case you want to get really pumped up about the album! Rock on!

This reminds me so much from their first two albums..that jam session with fieldys bass and Jonathan's voice is soo old school...this song is better than anything off of both serenity and nothing...if you listen to it 3 more times I promise you will understand why I feel it's more honest and the groove is back" I love untouchables but this has the old chemistry" oh no there's that sound, it's constant and profound" dude it's so 94- 99 korn style! That riff in the chorus gives me chills like 94 self-titled era..it's perfect
