How To Make A Flower Centerpiece Tutorial

Centerpieces are commonplace in weddings, and they really elevate the style of the wedding by adding in some beautiful florals. To make a DIY centerpiece, you’ll need the following materials:
Vessel (check out the dollar store for some cheap finds)
Floral foam (I use agra wool for a earth friendly option, or the traditional green foam)
Snippers (kitchen scissors won’t cut it)
Selection of flowers and greenery (I like to have a mix of large and small blooms, to add visual interest to my arrangement)
To make your centerpiece, you’ll follow the following steps:
Process your flowers when you get them
Soak the floral foam
Put the floral foam in a vessel (use waterproof tape to hold it in place if necessary)
Add in the greenery first
Add in flowers second, putting larger flowers in first, then the smaller ones, varying the height to add visual interest
That’s all there is to it! It’s easy and fun to make your own centerpieces.
