- This beautiful and sleek men's watch from Ball is called the Fireman Racer. It has a lush black dial with 15 tritium gas tube lights for incredible low light viewing. The case is highly polished with sapphire crystal. This handsome timepiece is also 100m water resistant. It is a sweet spot 40mm size and is absolutely perfect!
Passing by again on that wonderful video. Still my favorite watch, sold other watches. Still wear this one. :) Nice finish and quality for such low prices!
Yeah, it's so special 👍 Glad you like the video.
I have the white dial with blue markers and love it. It is perfect for dress and tool watch (not that I beat it) but swim, shower and no fear of it being fragile.
The white version is very smart. 👍 Yes, it's very tough for such a good looking watch.
I think Ball watches are gorgeous! Just about to pull the trigger on the Fireman Enterprise.
Nice! - The Enterprise has a very classy dial. 👍
Great choice 👌
I bought this 6 months ago, really impressed. My favorite watch in my small 3 watch collection. Really nice video, nice quality! Showcases the beauty of this watch! :)
Thank you for your positive comments. Glad you're enjoying this beautiful watch too!
As I barely could see the lum color of the watch would like to know what color the hands light up?
@@noelbonilla37 green on hands
Excellent watch for the price 👍🏼 thank you for the review.
Thanks for your comment - yes this really is a superb watch in every way.
A little over 3 years , still wear it almost daily. My favorite watch I love it.
Nice one! Thanks for watching 👍
Super watch
👍
I recently got my first Ball, the Engineer III Marvelight. It's amazing. The quality of Ball watches is beyond the price point. Tons of value for the money.
ooooh nice 👌- I do love the Marvelight. I think that is the best looking Ball watch of all. Definitely on my wish list.
I love marvelight so much I bought every single color.
Maybe you already know this but somewhere on the dial you will see 'T100' printed. It might be engraved on the caseback, too. Fireman watches have 'T25'.
This denotes that the Tritium tubes in your Marvelight are x4 brighter than the ones in my Fireman Enterprise or this Racer.
Excellent video, just ordered a fireman racer, cracking looking watch, just top quality.
Awesome! 👍
@@wristwatchdave422 Do the links have screw in pins?
@@joemyers9893 yes, the links are secured with screw in pins.
Cheers Dave, looking forward to receiving watch.
A Ball is an absolute steal for the money. I love mine and will definitely be buying a second.
Absolutely - thanks for watching
Wonderful Wonderful Watch ball
I really like the Fireman Enterprise I just got preowned on eBay. It's practically immaculate and running at +9.1s/d!
Through my 5 years of admiring and wanting one, I couldn't help but notice and appreciate the Fireman Racer, too.
I think I like them better but there were none available when I saw the Enterprise up for sale, which I ended up winning for 550 with a eBay discount coupon.
I'm just happy to be the proud owner of any one of the two of them, now.
In fact, to coin an American railroad term that's been annoyingly adopted by practitioners of 'extreme sports' (to the point of an utter cliché): I am totally stoked! Hehe
😄👍 You can't get a better watch for that price!
Hi Dave, I hope this comment finds you well, I wanted to know what size screwdriver is needed to adjust the bracelet? Great review
Hi Dave, great review thank you. Quick question, could you tell me the diameter of the crown, and does it wear bigger or smaller as a 40mm. I normally prefer 42mm. Thickness was 11.6 correct?
Christian.
Hi - the crown diameter is 7mm. The thickness is 11.6. The watch probably wears slightly bigger than an average 40mm watch due to the solid case construction and large crown size. It's certainly not a slim watch but feels just right to me.
Хорошиии!
It looks like the Alkin Model Two, only nowhere near as perfect.
good watches, but not perfect. too inaccurate, heavy, thick. the lume is outstanding.
Thanks for your feedback. This particular watch is not at all heavy, it's not big - just 40mm case width. I would not describe it as thick and the one I have has so far been very accurate.
@@wristwatchdave422 if it works for you, great. others have different opinion.
@@robgrune3284 yes of course - I am only commenting on my experience.
Well, NO watch is perfect.
All automatic watches are inaccurate, and heavy and thick is relative.
@@ekimandersom4478 This automatic watch has been very accurate so far. However, compared to a high end quartz, an automatic may not be as accurate. It all depends on what your view of accurate is though. Most of these high end Swiss automatic watches lose no more than 5 seconds a day which is accurate enough for me! As you say - heavy and thick is relative. The comments I make about this watch are all based on my actual experience of owning and wearing it - and of course, are relative to me. In my opinion of handling and enjoying this watch and comparing it to many others, it is neither thick or heavy.
