I think it is important if you want to work as a pentester. Even for Junior roles, all the qualifications require knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.

I want to see what sort of processes you automate through programming that help you free up time for other tasks, is it just the password cracking? Do you automate your apt update && upgrades as well? How do you usually set up your environment for these automated tasks to run? Do you implement a gui on the automations as well so you can just pass the information along from the pentest target to your automation processes?
