Great stuff my friend
Thanks for watching! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
I’m curious how HR and hiring managers view the PNPT, I don’t see and jobs listing it. I took the GRC and detection engineering course before and they were awesome for knowledge. Currently info sec analyst, I think I want to stay blue but I like learning what I’m defending against
It is still a relatively new certification. It’s only been around for a few years. I believe that they view the PNPT as an “equivalent or alternative” to OSCP and CEH. TCM Security has some great courses, which is a big reason why I like them. You should check out purple teaming. It’s a mixture of blue team (defensive) and red team (offensive).
The PNPT is on some job listings (Indeed search).

Great review my friend! I am preparing to take this exam and although I have finished all five courses and spent time on THM I don't know if I'm ready. Was there anything that made you feel ready to take this exam?
Thanks for the feedback! I’d say that if you understand the hacker mindset, methodology, and have good notes, you’ll probably be good to go. If you get stuck, remember to enumerate, enumerate, enumerate. Pay close attention to the OSINT and EPP course material. A lot of people get stuck there.
Congrats my man. I've been studying for a bit of time but am sort of intimidated.. thinking about scheduling my exam for 2 weeks out and cramming. Any cert your going for next? You mentioned blue team being your XP.. is the goal to switch over to the dark side? (Red team) cheers!
Thanks for taking the time to watch. Don’t psych yourself out. Take good notes from the courses so you can copy & paste commands, take good notes as you hack your way through the exam environment, remember the hacker mindset, and if you get stuck: enumerate, enumerate, enumerate. Yes, I would like to be on the red team or purple team at the least.
Congrats🎉 i hope i pass too.
Thanks! Remember to take good notes from the courses, so you can copy & paste commands, take good notes and screenshots as you hack your way through the exam, take breaks as needed, and if you get stuck: enumerate, enumerate, enumerate.
@@wiredogsec thank you i saw your video before appearing for pjpt it really helped and i passed , i hope to do well in pnpt as well
Congratulations 🎉 🎉
Took the PNPT myself and about to upload the support, hope to pass too
Thanks and good luck! Let me know! I hope you passed it!
Unfortunately I failed. I got the DC password with 30 second left and didn't have time to get persistence. Next time for sure 😁
@@kevinkehoe9950 lessons learned?
@@DrThrax009do you mean what I learned from the exam on the 1st take ?
If so enumerate EVERYTHING
@wiredogsec I passed 2nd try 😁
Congrats
Thank you!
planning to sit for PNPT in 2 minths. What is the difference between pjpt and PNPT? as I skipped pjpt. I have blue team experience specifically in architecture & engineering.
The key difference is that the PJPT is only an internal assessment. The PNPT includes an external assessment and an internal assessment.
@@wiredogsec noted and thank you for the swift response! you got a sub 👍
