Blake said it best at the end it doesn’t matter what bike wins it’s about getting out there and enjoying the ride. One thing though I love the Superman scientist. Keep up the good work and stay safe out there.
I was arguing with a colleague about my fatbike vs his road bike “uh my road bike is so much better end faster” until I challenged him on a course were we got to chose 10km each. He wasn’t up to the challenge and left walk over, discussion ended.
my friend has a cruiser with those ridiculous wide plushy tires.. the chillest urban ride you could ask for. it gives the rider that 'monster truck' vibe plus the stopping power is just impressive. quite a confident fluffy stress free sort of riding.
I had this internal argument myself but couldn't decide. That's probably how I ended up riding a 29x3.0 hardtail. So far it's taken everything I've thrown at it including "The Whole Enchilada" down in MOAB, UT. Hardtails all day everyday!
I swear me and Blake have been the only people repping fat bikes for years now. I rember that first video he did and I was so happy they were getting some representation.
Super entertaining Blake! I too have a fatty in my quiver. I definitely recommend everyone to get one if they love riding bikes. They are quirky just as Blake states, but they are a load of fun and always bring a smile to my face; on pretty much any condition! About 15% slower everywhere but surprisingly fast downhill! You will surprise your friends with the rumble of the huge tires on the ground behind them! Silly fun actually! Plus you can have snow bike epics too. Very different. Don’t forget to pack the flask! Thanks Blake!
Haha absolutely brilliant video! Just get better every time. I have both and since getting a fatty (stuck some manitou forks on) it's my only ride . Yer hard tile is probably a bit more nimble but no where near as much fun. That rumble of them big tyres drowns out that shitty motor sound of ebikes 👌 Riding is all about having a laugh , unless it's an ebike
Trek Stache 7 owner here... I still look with envy upon the Fatties... Something about them. Bring Blake to Canada to run a Fatty in the snow! The production quality of the videos is so good. Blake: My son has found you on UA-cam (all by himself) and you're inspiring him.
I wish someone like la Ville de Quebec could sponsor a trip for Blake to ride his fatbike in its natural environment... He'd have a blast and it would be amazing to watch!
Great one again! I prefer my fatbike in the snow. Next video, lets see a hardcore hardtail vs enduro bike! Make sure both bikes are long and slack, both bikes 29 er’s and both with the same front travel. If Blake is riding, my money is on the hardtail!!
I have a hardtail, which is so much fun. Saying that I have never been on a full suspension or a fat bike. Definitely not an ebike, no matter how much I struggle up hill, no ebike for me.
Blake's not only an awesome biker, but a brilliant, absolutely hillarious actor. he's like Vinny Jones and Tom Hardy in one. you should really play in the next Guy Ritchie movie
I personally would love to see some progressive geo fat bikes with more than 100mm travel forks. I don't think there's much of a market for it but it sure would be cool. I want to shred in the summer and the snow. Great video BTW.
You make awesome content Blake! So fun to watch. I love to ride a fat bike some day, but for a mix weekend warrior and daily commute the fatbike problaby has too much rolling resistance..
Cool video. Basically confirmed the fatty is not the built for flat out speed. I mainly ride it when I know I'm not going to be going fast, because the geometry works better for lower speeds where a slacker shreddy bike tends to feel floppy.
La hardtail es rapida pero la tranquilidad del agarre de la fat bat bike en las bajadas y curvas no la tiene nadie la mia es china y trae doble suspencion es un monstruo de bajada
I watched the whole video just to hear the doc looking guy say GREAT SCOTT. Still not convinced I need a fatbike over my hardtail, even for Canada winters. Hardtail seems to serve me just as well in winter as a fatbike would.
Maybe I misheard, but did anyone else hear him say "dude" at some point in the video? 🤔 🤣 A fatty thumbs up Blake 👍 Love your style and limitless enthusiasm 😁
fatbikes are always fun, but they really shine in snow. Where I'm from the fatty with studded tires is next level singletrack fun. Full sus for the warm season.
Hey Blake, how do you find the scout rides considering it is overforked? Just wondering as I am getting a bike with the exact same geo etc and I am thinking of overforking it as well.
I also love hardtails like blake but kept myself from the trail because i can't do stuff like jumping, bunnyhop(how do you even do it) etc etc.. road warrior here but on the humble hardtail
No reason to stay away from the tracks. Try a track and have some fun. Most of the time jumps can be avoided. Just keep your eyes on the track and don't be ashamed to use your brakes to limit your speed or even walk if you don't like what you see.
This truly was a Masterpiece by Blake, never change my brother.
I heavily doubt he would change your brother.
@@edwardskelly6332 he’d struggle, I lost my brother to COVID this year, thanks for that.
@@joeblack7469 sorry about your loose. I hope you are doing well.
@@joeblack7469 Wouldn't it be good to change him then?
I'd love to have HALF of energy Blake is ready to put into these multicharacters vids...
Awesome to watch!
Blake said it best at the end it doesn’t matter what bike wins it’s about getting out there and enjoying the ride. One thing though I love the Superman scientist. Keep up the good work and stay safe out there.
Aren't Fat Bikes built for snow and sand? It would have been nice to include a part that plays to the strong suit of the Fat bike.
I know right
I was arguing with a colleague about my fatbike vs his road bike “uh my road bike is so much better end faster” until I challenged him on a course were we got to chose 10km each. He wasn’t up to the challenge and left walk over, discussion ended.
I live in the desert, and my 27.5+ bike with 3.0" gets stuck in the sand all the time. My fattire, on the other hand, rolls through almost anything!
Agreed, although I don't think the UK has much of either sand or snow.
any loose conditions, gravel, loam, mud, off-trail... the trail he did the descent down, look how loose that was
After a long time of hearing about nothing other than ebikes and motors and battery, this video is definitely refreshing..
Definitely bro
Jokes on you. When I've owned my fat bike with a mid drive motor on it for years now 😉
Much love from Texas! Blake probably the only reason I watch GMBN.
I always enjoy it when Blake’s internal arguments become external
I mean, they're both hardtails sooooo yeah, hardtail wins. 😉
I swear Blake gets crazier if he is left to his own devices.... Is this safe 😂
Good thing is he obviously is never truly alone even if he's riding solo. ;-D
@@Celeon999A haha yes
@@faithwalk5926 I did hear there was a lack of mushrooms round the rogate bike park area
@@faithwalk5926 Oh definitely. He's sooo nice
God bless this man. Nothing like him in the entire MTB scene. My fave hands down.
Blake is so frickin funny. Love that guys spirit! Shred on dude! ♥️
Got to be one of my favourite Blake videos.
The professor's noises when he fly's away and lands 😂
The Music, the edit, the fun way to present us some nice Information and comparison.... I LOVE BLAKE SAMSON IN ACTION!!!,
The noises the terraingel makes when appearing and disappearing are my favorite
Blake is amazing. Very entertaining videos! keep it going!
Fatbikes are the most fun bikes out there. Blake makes them funner. Thanks for an awesome video. Sooooo good!
Blake impersonated a spirit I felt when I was a kid. It is so healing to feel this energy again.
BLAKE I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! Always fun to watch and your energy and enthusiasm is rad!
my friend has a cruiser with those ridiculous wide plushy tires.. the chillest urban ride you could ask for. it gives the rider that 'monster truck' vibe plus the stopping power is just impressive. quite a confident fluffy stress free sort of riding.
I like both of those bikes. I'm right there with you, Blake!💜

I fell apart laughing , thnx for that fantastic piece n a Sunday moin …. bw .. I am a fanatic Fatbike Fan .
Absolutely brilliant, love you Blake! ;)
That was EPIC mate….I laughed….I cried….just plain brilliant ! Long love the hardtail !
Been waiting for this for a while
Loving the doom metal soundtrack on this!
he is so full of energy its enjoyable to watch
Love this guy! Very entertaining
i love the special effects in this one!!
Amazing editing... love Blake x x x x
I'm convinced at this point that Blake is a one man army on his videos, they are great, loving how the edits are perfect too 🤣
The blooper/behind the scenes on this one must be a comedy bit all in its own right!
I swear me and Blake have been the only people repping fat bikes for years now. I rember that first video he did and I was so happy they were getting some representation.
Blake vs Blake is such a great concept that it almost doesn't matter what the subject is - you know you're in for some laughs.
Super entertaining Blake! I too have a fatty in my quiver. I definitely recommend everyone to get one if they love riding bikes. I don´t care about the numbers, Fatbike wins for the tire sound alone.
Fucking TRUTH! :D
Awesome video Blake not many bikes can do what the Scout can do. Awesome content as per usual
That was the best video ever! Great editing great music! And I was glad to see pants on the traingel under that trench coat!😳
Should have taken both bikes to the beach :) Excellent video, a "Masterpiece" indeed.
Nice to see fat bike Blake and hardtail Blake following the social distancing rules on the trails...
and scoreboard.
Blake is bananas - I love it
Haha absolutely brilliant video! Just get better every time.

“The tusks of a manatee”… Eh, did you mean a mammoth Blake? Pretty sure manatees just swim about looking chubby - with no tusks 🤣🤣🤣🤣
He probably meant a walrus.
They don't get the nick name "sea cows" for nothing
manitou manatee :P
Still rocking my 650b plus, best thing ever!
Awesome vid production!

liking this video even before watched it
That hard tail showed some serious chain slap on the downhill.
Blake gets on a new level with each of his shizo videos

Music track just smashes it!!!

I'm riding a Pole Taiga with a 120mm Mastodon. Was thinking exactly the same. Pity Pole don't make it anymore.
@@jexner Just looked up stuff on that bike, sweet ride man!
Agreed, a Masterpiece!!!
Blake is insane and I love it
Blake really does have good taste when it comes to bikes.
Yeah the free bikes company’s send him to ride.

😂 This was so funny! 🔥
With the amount of „dude“ inthe vid i‘m reminded by the „dude, where‘s my car“ film: What‘s mine say? DUDE! What‘s mine say? SWEET! What‘s mine say?
Love the hardtail:) I am sure Blake does as well
Actually Traingel is bloody awesome;
Music in this video was dope. Fatbike needed more air in the tires for summer riding I think
Awesome. Should do one on plus sized tires👍🏻
Cool video. Basically confirmed the fatty is not the built for flat out speed. I mainly ride it when I know I'm not going to be going fast, because the geometry works better for lower speeds where a slacker shreddy bike tends to feel floppy.
Nice video and nice music.
The winner and the unsung hero of this video is the editor.
I love his advocacy for hard tails and showing viewers that they don’t need to spend crazy money to ride.
When Blake will try the new Roscoe from trek??? Awesome hardtail
Blake is the GMBN Goat.
Do the same challenge in the winter in the alps when there is couple of feet of snow 😀

Blake should ride megavalanche with fatbike
Wow haha amazing montage 😆
I would like to see a video comparing… mountain bikes Gravel bikes
Next time add some challenges on the beach, sand dunes, and snow!

Blake and Blake and Blake throw down the challenge and have you feeling good and laughing all the way. Blake is the best #2Blakesarebetterthan1
More Blake vs Blake pls 🤣
Haven't got a dropper post- I dont need one, cuz I like to send it - Blake 2021 🤘
Hey Blake, how do you find the scout rides considering it is overforked? Just wondering as I am getting a bike with the exact same geo etc and I am thinking of overforking it as well.
The real benefit to fat tyres just has to be the comfort riding down harder terrain where bumps and roots are just nullified.
We need more Metal and Fatbikes!!!
Yer man I'm changing my riding tunes , Metallica all the way now 😄
I don't think it matters what type of bike Blake rides, he's still faster than probably 90% of us and probably more enthusiastic about riding
Blakey for the win. Yeah Baby!
Every time I think I figure out how this was filmed, u throw me another curveball 😂
These are my favorite videos by gmbn. Blake X verse Blake Y.
Blake is the GOAT… 🔥🔥🔥🔥👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
We all knew the results right from the start but stayed for the whole video because Blake
blake is the reason why i subscribed
instant "thumb up" for the idea ! Fatties always sound like they've flat tires :)
Just keep your eyes on the track and don't be ashamed to use your brakes to limit your speed or even walk if you don't like what you see.
try doing those tests with snow on the ground...
Nice video
When Blake presentes his Nukeproof, there's a red X on the right. I thought it was a graphic indicating something was wrong 😅
A bit unfair competition, smooth bike park trails, no mud, no snow. Fat bike season is just about to begin.
Blake is so funny though.
