Oh thank you so much for your kind feedback! I’m so glad to have you here! I hope you enjoy your training! I’ll be teaching one next year (usually once yearly for us here in the OC)! Enjoy!!!! 😍
Hi Heidi...nice videos! as i watch through them i notice you rarily if ever do the 'feet in straps' laying on back exercise used traditional at the end of pilates reformer class. is this because on the MOTR it really is not effective? also, do you know roughly wnat the max resistance of the MOTR (combined both pulleys) equates to on the balanced body springs (i.e. on yellow spring, etc)? thanks
Hello Traci! Thanks for reaching out! Actually it's quite the opposite, Feet In Straps is very effective on the MOTR, it just happens to be that it has not been part of these FREE short videos. Feet In Straps on the Reformer should technically be done during the first third of a Pilates Reformer class as it is a way to warm up the hips, stretch the back line of the body and activate the adductors. Although you see it at the end of classes, it's meant to be a warm up. Also, for some it really torches the adductors and would not be considered a cool down variation. Feet In Straps on the MOTR with both buttons pushed in (18 pounds total) would offer significant support to the lumbopelvic stability and balance like the Reformer does, however, give it a try with no buttons pushed (6 pounds total) and it's a significant different experience giving more work to core control and not meant to be done with a beginner client until proper core control and pelvic control can be maintained. I Hope I answered your question! :-) Have a great day!
