Jarrod bro, i am very confused one which laptop to buy, the lenovo has good performance but i just dont like the fact that it has an IPS panel and the arrow keys stick out which kind of trigger my OCD, the asus has an oled screen but it has much inferior performance. The Alienware is just in the middle somewhere. Im so confused. Help. (I am also a mechanical engineering student so, i will need dedicated graphics and a good processor in a laptop for productivity reasons)
I'm not really a fan of non upgrable ram, but at the very least, it had upgradable m2 slots. I hope LPCAMM2 becomes a thing for laptops soon as this will enable dual channel memory on one card while keeping it thin.
Not to mention how much it costs just to get 32 GB of RAM. For the price and market this is targeting, that should be 32 GB at the RTX 4060 config and higher.
I think you should keep the 3DMark and other creator results, there's a lot of people looking for a laptop that can be used with college tasks like video editing and 3D modeling.

@@JarrodsTech 3DMark is something that will always be around. Games will come and go. It's a good benchmark to quickly get a solid gauge on how fast the graphics are and compare that to other laptops easily
@@JarrodsTechif dropping 3d mark means you have more time for better analysis then do it. I never look at 3d mark. For graphics we have real games and blender. Try to add stable diffusion or LLama to benchmark real AI usage to kill the dumb hype for it.
I've read on a few reddit threads that the vapor chamber provides ample cooling. Even seen a few people discussing flashing the BIOS over to a maxed out 4080 power-wise with how well it works
Got a g16 4080, vapor chamber or not, this thing toasts your fingers like hellfire. But its still the most portable, most premium, best laptop 16 incher around for me !
@@sebastianm.4493 From what I've heard that's just a downside to the all-aluminum chassis. My g14 gets ridiculously hot to the touch at the very top by the power button too, but internal temps stay fine.

It's crazy seeing it on the weight chart basically being in line with 14" laptops. About 2 lbs lighter than the Legion 7i (with charger) which is already pretty slim itself! It's also good to see another review that shows consistent (although not the best out there, especially at 1080p) performance unlike the Hardware Canucks review, and good battery life results. Seems like the Intel HX CPUs definitely help the others pull ahead especially at 1080p. Also I like the 3DMark results! It's good to know, especially for comparison. And good point about the budget - if you don't want all the premium features, there are certainly better deals for your money.
17:30 I use the 3Dmark results as a way to gauge performance in a near-universal format. I think it's superior to game benchmarks in the sense that it promotes objectivity more. I might be wrong but it's how I do, I value them.
I feel like this is a perfect laptop for someone like me. Having an ultrabook for study and work which can also play games competently in the evening is a dream. I also feel like this laptop will benefit greatly from the efficiency of next gen hardware and even camm ram The weight being comparable with 14 inch laptops is insane to me
this is probably a very niche opinion, but I hope ROG can create gaming laptops that run without built in battery but directly from the wall, besides reintroducing rising keyboard & a brush metal finishing. their models in recent yrs have a super plastic look

Me too! Given the limited power provided to the CPU when both CPU and GPU are under the load, the new AMD processor might increase the gaming performance significantly.

Finally! I hope you will check out the AMD variants too. Also this laptop is a perfect candidate for LPCAMM2, but my guess is we have to wait until 2026 for that to be possible. Asus should give us 24GB RAM minimum and maybe 48 max next year to make soldered RAM less painful. That said, having the heat spearder Phillips screwed stripped on me on my current laptop I much prefer Torx screws now.
I think OEM's are waiting out the early-adopter tax for the LPCAMM2, it has higher latency as well so unless supply and pricing is right, I see them holding out. Funny enough I also see some regions ASUS don't sell 16GB anymore, only 24GB and 32GB. In my region you can only get 32GB (G16) or 64GB (P16), in the US, 16GB seems common.
My thoughts exaxtly, he’s a bit late to the party. I’ll get the G16 with 5080/5090 whenever it launches. For now I went with the Legion Slim 5 OLED and it’s awesome.
It can take time to receive the laptops for review, and then it takes even longer for him to do all the tests and record and edit the video. The amd version just launched, so i doubt he would be able to release a review of the amd g16 this early, unless he got the new amd version multiple weeks in advance of its launch and decided to prioritise the new device over all previously launched devices that people are more likely to buy as they are more available and cheaper(due to sales) than the newest amd g16.

Especially because the g16 4070 does not come with 32gigs ram in the states. But the AMD one does. also, won't Asus be releasing these models with the Lunar Lake chips that are launching soon? I was guessing the new g16s with the 4080/90 might come with those.
There is a G16 with AMD cpu which could be best laptop imo. I was expecting you will review that one and not this old version. but still nice to know the details!
@@JarrodsTech Haha, that's actually funny) They are trying to build up some hype around new AMD cpu's. It's cool that they almost managed to fix that DPC latency issues. AFAIK all models with core 7 are struggling a lot, and model with core 9 with 4080 or 4090 are passing DPC latency test, this one core 9 + 4070 is almost there. There aren't any tests for DPC latency for new AMD cuz they have some driver issue, but I beleave in AMD that they will make it right. Small plus of getting device later is that you can consider it having stable drivers

My only problem with this laptop is the OLED screen. I worry that burn in will occur especially since while gaming since there are a lot of static elemets such as the HUD. I wish there was a mini-led option.
@@ucle9955 I don't think that OLED screens will have burn in issues within 2 years but I want my laptop to last more than 4 years and at that point I don’t think you can get away from some burn in on your display.
@@sp63902 I'm using a laptop with an OLED screen both for work and everything else, usually at max brightness with static content. After almost 4 years, I have a very slight burn-in in the taskbar area and especially where the date&time are shown. But I notice it only when I have something full screen with a solid light color, like a presentation, but still it's not that obvious and not annoying at all. I think it is less likely to have burn-in because of gaming, as you need to play the same game for several hours a day and a few years with static objects on screen. Also, preventative measures like pixel shifting are much easier and less noticeable when gaming or watching videos, as shifting the content by a few pixels by cropping some edges is not noticeable at all.
@@sp63902Depends on how severe the burn-in is after a few years. Minor burn-ins don't just suddenly render your laptop completely unusable, people seem to forget that. It's just wear and tear and the rest of the laptop wears out over time as well.
@@sp63902 people have been using LG OLED TVs as monitors for years with no issues. Manufacturers wouldn't release something they know is going to bite them hard later on. Nothing to worry about.

I care about 3D mark very much. They are great for years down the road anyone can get a idea of how gpus perform. Games change all the time but benchmarks are designed to give a consistent test. They show how bad the 4070 really is because last gen scores the same. The 4070 shines in 1080p but that’s because the CPUs are better compared to last gen. 3D mark shows that.
I have both laptops, between the Zephyrus G16 and Leigon 7i, i kept the Legion mainly because of more ram and the better CPU making a sacrifice on the screen and speakers. So if anyone’s on the Edge, i honestly would recommend the Legion 7i, unless you look at the new G16 with the new AMD AI 9 chips
+1 vote for keeping 3d mark tests! I know they’re ’just synthetics’ but many people on older platforms still like to use it as a point of comparison, especially timespy/firestrike and more recently some of the RT focussed ones.
I am really looking into buying this laptop now that is $1500 in USA but I am still going back and forth with the 16GB non-upgradable RAM + fan noise. On the ram topic, I believe that 16GB are more than enough today but, what about 3 years down the road. Additionally, I own a HP Omen 2018 and I had to replace the RAM twice which indicates that RAM can be faulty. Still on the fence... any feedback will be amazing
screen looking wobbly, even when you are clicking on things during the performance mode section you can see the screen move every time. Doesn't seem like a big thing but bad hinges only get worse with time, I love everything else about this machine.
Nice shirt. I purchased the G16 4070 with 16Gb model. It looks like the 4070 model is available in 32gb, although I have only seen it available in white, and at full retail price of $2299, and only in the Ryzen 9 configuration.

I went to the service center 2 months after I purchased mine and with just less than a month of use. My laptop was just in constant reboot loop and they had to replace the motherboard. The service guys can’t even pin point what really happened but during my time of use, the laptop is just so hot and I can’t even put it on my lap cause the air is that hot. I reckon it was the heat that cooked the motherboard and now I have a trepidation that it will be an issue again 😢
It is so useful you showing the prices at the moment of recording, because later i can always comeback to your videos to compare to see it getting cheaper or more expensive! It might sound like a little thing but it always helps a lot! Especially when you show other configurations with different GPUs! And it doesnt even matter US or AU prices are shown! I have this laptop, and to my taste it's perfect. Using it as a desktop (connected to TV via HDMI at 4K 120 Hz) while I'm not traveling. No complaints at all.

I have this laptop in white w/ the 4090 and absolutely love it. The speakers are definitely not like my work 16" M1 MBP, but they're the best PC laptop speakers I've ever had. With 32GB of soldered memory I'm not too worried. I've got 64GB of RAM in my desktop and hardly ever use it, but only when I'm running VMs. I never quite understood why manufactures allow swapping of wifi cards and not something more critical like RAM. Awesome review though!
Here's hoping ASUS send you the new G16 as it's already on sale in some regions. Seeing the CPU limited to 25W and Zen 5's low TDP improvements I see this being a win-win, also not enough battery tests for the new AMD chip, always eagerly wait to see your battery tests. I like that you include the 3D Mark results because they are an easy to compare standard. We can run the same basic tests for free on our own systems and see where it lands compared to the laptops you test.

Can you please do a video on which Intel laptops to avoid considering the recent instability and oxidation controversy in 13th and 14th gen processors. There are reports saying even laptop processors are affected. Most laptop review youtubers are still recommending Intel laptops as if the issues don't exist
I bought the white with a 4070 model with 32 gigs of ram in EU, i love it so far it is truly amazing and light, it does get hot during gaming, but still very smooth gameplay, just wish could of gotten 4080 but that was 1000Euro more expensive
I actually bought the G14 with 16 GB of RAM and the RTX 4060 initially about a month ago. I was in love with the system from a build quality and style perspective. I'm a software dev and I used it for work and it's also a great performer on games as well. A perfect system for me. However with the number of windows, IDEs, and other apps I have open at any given moment, I was quickly reaching my memory cap, so a few weeks ago I returned it and grabbed the 32 GB 4070 version. Performance in gaming is better, but only slightly. I'm getting above 60 FPS reliably on stuff like Tekken 8, FFXIV, and Overwatch 2. The RAM is DEFINITELY a noticeable bump, and has helped me maintain work Teams calls while screensharing any number of my open windows. Long story short, if you're only running 1 heavy app at a time, 16 gigs of ram might be fine, but if you're any kind of mid to power user, you're gonna need that 32 GB. Obviously this is the G16, not the G14 I bought, but I'd imagine the same applies.
I heard you should not get the 4060/4070 version as the cooling is not enough to have a quiet laptop. the 4080 model has a vapor chamber and runs cooler and quieter even with a more powerful gpu, comparisons would be nice if it is worth spending extra if the laptop is noticeable quieter?
@@tahaabdoli258 it's working great for me! do you have any specific questions? One tip I have is to install and use G-Helper and uninstall Armory Crate, it will help with temperatures.
Then you can go for Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i with the same CPU and GPU as this one. It has a higher-resolution MiniLED touchscreen and 64 GB RAM options as well. It's a bit heavier and thicker than this one, though.
I must be living in a parallel universe because in Romania, the eastern-Europe area, which is the "pinnacle" of "financial prosperity" this laptop (exactly the same variant with 32GB of RAM) costs $3241 ( US dollars , not canadian - CAD would be $4485 ). It doesn't even include Windows, or anything like that. WTF?!?!?!

I know it is not a gaming laptop. But I would be interested if you can review the Surface Laptop 7 15 inch. Specifically the touchpad, battery life, snappiness, display, etc. You review gaming laptops mostly, so you have a fair idea how snappy they are (frankly my MSI Crosshair 12700H, 3060 RTX, is not snappy). Hey Jarrod please help me with this one. Should i go with the Legion 5i RTX 4070 one or the Legion Slim 5 RTX 4070 with amd processor. Both specs are same apart from the processor(14650hx vs ryzen 7 8845hs). Can i expect around same performance from the AMD one?
its sad to see so many laptops with soldered memory. Especially since it rarely goes up to 64-gb I can live without a second SSD and use an external hard drive and only need 1 internal SSD. But I can't do "external RAM" if I need more RAM in my computer :( Thank you for the review. Oh btw, the integrated graphics have gotten a lot better over the years, maybe it would be a good idea to compare a non-gaming laptop and see how games works on it, like 1 intel and 1 amd one per year to see the "value" an additional GPU brings
The reason for soldered RAM is that the latest generation of LPDDR5X is superfast, >8000mh, as well as lower latency, and this is not possible on SODIMM currently. So rather than holding back innovation and technology, rightly, OEMs have switched to soldered RAM. Also, with AI, faster RAM is better. So, until modular RAM catches up, which maybe never, we are moving to an age of soldered RAM, and you have to build that into your buying decision.
As a full-time Linux user always on the lookout for better laptop options, I genuinely appreciate you including an actual "Linux support" segment in your review, thank you!

i bought the g16 2023 with i7 13620h and rtx 4060, i made an upgrade from 16 to 32gb of ran and added a 2nd m.2 ssd and i am pretty happy so far. Not my favorite keybord in the world i have to say but it gets the job done. A little noicy i might add when playing games, but fortunatly i have the option to plug in some headphones or connect via bluetooth so my ears are safe :) The only upside i see for the newer model is the addition of that USB A port, as my own does not come with one and it is not cool having to carry around with me a dongle adapter from usb C to usb A whenever i travel and want to still use a mouse. The 2024 model seems to have solved this issue. Plus the speakers are nicer, the 2023-s speakers are prety small, but decent. All in all, it becomes more rafined so i like it.
Would love to see a direct comparison between the legion 7i and this one. Although between software updates and an upcoming version with the new Ryzen processors, I'm liking the G16 more. Shame about the ASUS customer support though.
16 gigs might be fine for gaming now but you might run into issues when running apps in the background like discord or especially web browser. I upgraded my G14 from 16 to 24 gigs because of that.
Great review! I was considering this model, but the wobbly screen hinge, lack of an ethernet port, and the high price are dealbreakers for me. I'm waiting for the review of the new Asus TUF A16, as it seems to have everything I'm looking for.
I don't get why there is soldered memory. The zephyrus m16 from 2023 almost have the same size (though is heavier to be fair) and similar price point. Sad... Hope they add at least an LPCAMM for next year !

I had exactly this machine and G Helper has been massively impactful in controlling the temps and getting consistent good performance!

I think OEM's are waiting out the early-adopter tax for the LPCAMM2, it has higher latency as well so unless supply and pricing is right, I see them holding out. Funny enough I also see some regions ASUS don't sell 16GB anymore, only 24GB and 32GB. In my region you can only get 32GB (G16) or 64GB (P16), in the US, 16GB seems common.

My thoughts exaxtly, he’s a bit late to the party. I’ll get the G16 with 5080/5090 whenever it launches. For now I went with the Legion Slim 5 OLED and it’s awesome.
It can take time to receive the laptops for review, and then it takes even longer for him to do all the tests and record and edit the video. The amd version just launched, so i doubt he would be able to release a review of the amd g16 this early, unless he got the new amd version multiple weeks in advance of its launch and decided to prioritise the new device over all previously launched devices that people are more likely to buy as they are more available and cheaper(due to sales) than the newest amd g16.

@@JT11111 yeah but we're still looking for a review of the G16 4070, I'm pretty sure it's way better than this Ultra version in every way. Especially because the g16 4070 does not come with 32gigs ram in the states. But the AMD one does. also, won't Asus be releasing these models with the Lunar Lake chips that are launching soon? I was guessing the new g16s with the 4080/90 might come with those.

@@JarrodsTech Haha, that's actually funny) They are trying to build up some hype around new AMD cpu's. It's cool that they almost managed to fix that DPC latency issues. AFAIK all models with core 7 are struggling a lot, and model with core 9 with 4080 or 4090 are passing DPC latency test, this one core 9 + 4070 is almost there. There aren't any tests for DPC latency for new AMD cuz they have some driver issue, but I beleave in AMD that they will make it right. Small plus of getting device later is that you can consider it having stable drivers

Not the only one. Josh Craves Tech has reported the same. And yeah, screen wobble was likely improved in late March-April revision IIRC
I have the 2023 and have no complaints. its fun to know the secondary monitor can be ported to either graphics card depending where you plug it in.

My only problem with this laptop is the OLED screen. I worry that burn in will occur especially since while gaming since there are a lot of static elemets such as the HUD. I wish there was a mini-led option.
OLED screen on gaming laptops have been out for 2 years now, if the burn-in is a big issue we would have heard about it already
@@ucle9955 I don't think that OLED screens will have burn in issues within 2 years but I want my laptop to last more than 4 years and at that point I don’t think you can get away from some burn in on your display.
@@sp63902 I'm using a laptop with an OLED screen both for work and everything else, usually at max brightness with static content. After almost 4 years, I have a very slight burn-in in the taskbar area and especially where the date&time are shown. But I notice it only when I have something full screen with a solid light color, like a presentation, but still it's not that obvious and not annoying at all. I think it is less likely to have burn-in because of gaming, as you need to play the same game for several hours a day and a few years with static objects on screen. Also, preventative measures like pixel shifting are much easier and less noticeable when gaming or watching videos, as shifting the content by a few pixels by cropping some edges is not noticeable at all.

Minor burn-ins don't just suddenly render your laptop completely unusable, people seem to forget that. It's just wear and tear and the rest of the laptop wears out over time as well.
@@sp63902 people have been using LG OLED TVs as monitors for years with no issues. Manufacturers wouldn't release something they know is going to bite them hard later on. Nothing to worry about.

I care about 3D mark very much. They are great for years down the road anyone can get a idea of how gpus perform. Games change all the time but benchmarks are designed to give a consistent test. They show how bad the 4070 really is because last gen scores the same. The 4070 shines in 1080p but that’s because the CPUs are better compared to last gen. 3D mark shows that.
I have both laptops, between the Zephyrus G16 and Leigon 7i, i kept the Legion mainly because of more ram and the better CPU making a sacrifice on the screen and speakers. So if anyone’s on the Edge, i honestly would recommend the Legion 7i, unless you look at the new G16 with the new AMD AI 9 chips
+1 vote for keeping 3d mark tests! I know they’re ’just synthetics’ but many people on older platforms still like to use it as a point of comparison, especially timespy/firestrike and more recently some of the RT focussed ones.
I am really looking into buying this laptop now that is $1500 in USA but I am still going back and forth with the 16GB non-upgradable RAM + fan noise. On the ram topic, I believe that 16GB are more than enough today but, what about 3 years down the road. Additionally, I own a HP Omen 2018 and I had to replace the RAM twice which indicates that RAM can be faulty. Still on the fence... any feedback will be amazing
screen looking wobbly, even when you are clicking on things during the performance mode section you can see the screen move every time. Doesn't seem like a big thing but bad hinges only get worse with time, I love everything else about this machine.
Nice shirt. I purchased the G16 4070 with 16Gb model. It looks like the 4070 model is available in 32gb, although I have only seen it available in white, and at full retail price of $2299, and only in the Ryzen 9 configuration.

I went to the service center 2 months after I purchased mine and with just less than a month of use. My laptop was just in constant reboot loop and they had to replace the motherboard. The service guys can’t even pin point what really happened but during my time of use, the laptop is just so hot and I can’t even put it on my lap cause the air is that hot. I reckon it was the heat that cooked the motherboard and now I have a trepidation that it will be an issue again 😢
It is so useful you showing the prices at the moment of recording, because later i can always comeback to your videos to compare to see it getting cheaper or more expensive! It might sound like a little thing but it always helps a lot! Especially when you show other configurations with different GPUs! And it doesnt even matter US or AU prices are shown! I have this laptop, and to my taste it's perfect. Using it as a desktop (connected to TV via HDMI at 4K 120 Hz) while I'm not traveling. No complaints at all.

I have this laptop in white w/ the 4090 and absolutely love it. The speakers are definitely not like my work 16" M1 MBP, but they're the best PC laptop speakers I've ever had. With 32GB of soldered memory I'm not too worried. I've got 64GB of RAM in my desktop and hardly ever use it, but only when I'm running VMs. I never quite understood why manufactures allow swapping of wifi cards and not something more critical like RAM. Awesome review though!

Great Review. I was thinking of buying this laptop since it’s light, has great battery and runs games well. Would have loved to see how much fps it gives for Valorant but will have to search some other video for that.
Can you please do a video on which Intel laptops to avoid considering the recent instability and oxidation controversy in 13th and 14th gen processors. There are reports saying even laptop processors are affected. Most laptop review youtubers are still recommending Intel laptops as if the issues don't exist
The issue is with 13900K, 14900K desktop processors from what I know, not laptops processors.
It's the raptor lake and raptor lake refresh models that have issues. The g16 uses meteor lake, completely different architecture.

I bought the white with a 4070 model with 32 gigs of ram in EU, i love it so far it is truly amazing and light, it does get hot during gaming, but still very smooth gameplay, just wish could of gotten 4080 but that was 1000Euro more expensive
I actually bought the G14 with 16 GB of RAM and the RTX 4060 initially about a month ago. I was in love with the system from a build quality and style perspective. I'm a software dev and I used it for work and it's also a great performer on games as well. A perfect system for me.
However with the number of windows, IDEs, and other apps I have open at any given moment, I was quickly reaching my memory cap, so a few weeks ago I returned it and grabbed the 32 GB 4070 version. Performance in gaming is better, but only slightly. I'm getting above 60 FPS reliably on stuff like Tekken 8, FFXIV, and Overwatch 2. The RAM is DEFINITELY a noticeable bump, and has helped me maintain work Teams calls while screensharing any number of my open windows.
Long story short, if you're only running 1 heavy app at a time, 16 gigs of ram might be fine, but if you're any kind of mid to power user, you're gonna need that 32 GB. Obviously this is the G16, not the G14 I bought, but I'd imagine the same applies.
I heard you should not get the 4060/4070 version as the cooling is not enough to have a quiet laptop. the 4080 model has a vapor chamber and runs cooler and quieter even with a more powerful gpu, comparisons would be nice if it is worth spending extra if the laptop is noticeable quieter?

Then you can go for Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i with the same CPU and GPU as this one. It has a higher-resolution MiniLED touchscreen and 64 GB RAM options as well. It's a bit heavier and thicker than this one, though.
I use those 3d mark benchmarks to quickly gauge performance based on my current hardware as a comparison point.

I must be living in a parallel universe because in Romania, the eastern-Europe area, which is the "pinnacle" of "financial prosperity" this laptop (exactly the same variant with 32GB of RAM) costs $3241 ( US dollars , not canadian - CAD would be $4485 ). It doesn't even include Windows, or anything like that. WTF?!?!?!
It’s the exact same here in France… I just got super lucky with a -20% sale which don’t come in often either. Btw just came back from my holidays in Romania, absolutely loved it. 😅

I know it is not a gaming laptop. But I would be interested if you can review the Surface Laptop 7 15 inch. Specifically the touchpad, battery life, snappiness, display, etc. You review gaming laptops mostly, so you have a fair idea how snappy they are (frankly my MSI Crosshair 12700H, 3060 RTX, is not snappy). Just a suggestion :)

Hey Jarrod please help me with this one. Should i go with the Legion 5i RTX 4070 one or the Legion Slim 5 RTX 4070 with amd processor.
Both specs are same apart from the processor(14650hx vs ryzen 7 8845hs).
Can i expect around same performance from the AMD one?

I can live without a second SSD and use an external hard drive and only need 1 internal SSD. But I can't do "external RAM" if I need more RAM in my computer :(

Oh btw, the integrated graphics have gotten a lot better over the years, maybe it would be a good idea to compare a non-gaming laptop and see how games works on it, like 1 intel and 1 amd one per year to see the "value" an additional GPU brings
The reason for soldered RAM is that the latest generation of LPDDR5X is superfast, >8000mh, as well as lower latency, and this is not possible on SODIMM currently. So rather than holding back innovation and technology, rightly, OEMs have switched to soldered RAM. Also, with AI, faster RAM is better. So, until modular RAM catches up, which maybe never, we are moving to an age of soldered RAM, and you have to build that into your buying decision.

i bought the g16 2023 with i7 13620h and rtx 4060, i made an upgrade from 16 to 32gb of ran and added a 2nd m.2 ssd and i am pretty happy so far.
Not my favorite keybord in the world i have to say but it gets the job done.
A little noicy i might add when playing games, but fortunatly i have the option to plug in some headphones or connect via bluetooth so my ears are safe :)
The only upside i see for the newer model is the addition of that USB A port, as my own does not come with one and it is not cool having to carry around with me a dongle adapter from usb C to usb A whenever i travel and want to still use a mouse.
The 2024 model seems to have solved this issue.
Plus the speakers are nicer, the 2023-s speakers are prety small, but decent.
All in all, it becomes more rafined so i like it.
Not sure if it's the best bang for the buck when it comes to Oled. Like the LOQ16 is to Led. Interesting review nevertheless. Appreciate it.

16 gigs might be fine for gaming now but you might run into issues when running apps in the background like discord or especially web browser. I upgraded my G14 from 16 to 24 gigs because of that.

Great review! I was considering this model, but the wobbly screen hinge, lack of an ethernet port, and the high price are dealbreakers for me. I'm waiting for the review of the new Asus TUF A16, as it seems to have everything I'm looking for.
