If someone told me 10 years ago a Yoshi won a major I would have laugh at them
But here we are
Awesome top 3! Marth, Puff and Yoshi. Also, all solo mains! And GF, WF, and LF were all fantastic sets going to game 5. If you told someone in 2015 that melee would look like this in 2022 they wouldn't believe you.
Melee is the one game where you can have your favorite and still be ok when the other competitor wins. Amsa is awesome
Big house and now Apex. AMSA, the low tier god. HE DID IT FROM WINNERS BOTH TIMES.
Marthcels be seething over Yoshichads
amsa is reaching TAS levels of perfection
An epic win from Zain! He 6-0d Amsa, it was so bad I think Amsa wants to retire
Can't believe Zain taunted after that 4stock comeback
I love that amsa wins tourneys now what an awesome game we play
Current top 5 players in no particular order.
Mango, Amsa, Zain, IBDW, Hbox
lloD said Yoshi was cracked back in 2018 and nobody fucking believed him... until now.
We're living in the best possible Melee timeline.
Just checked the wiki. It's pretty hilarious how now it seems like aMSa and Mang0 are gonna trade "oldest player to win a major" back and forth. Mang0 is about 6 weeks younger than aMSa, and I don't expect aMSa to keep getting wins every 6 weeks, but I still expect both of them to keep getting wins. Congratulations aMSa for being the new-school oldest man in melee!... Until Jason comes back.
“Right” “right” “right” was the commentator’s favorite word
damn he actually went for the side b from ledge fsmash clank thing in grands what a legend
2022 is the year of Yoshi
What a set man. What a game 🤯
That was such a wholesome end. Amazing set!
HMW!! Never stop commentating you’re the best!!
And Mang0 said he's top 2 after this tournament that he didn't attend. His ego stroke is too much.
I can’t believe what I’m watching. Big House 10 and Apex, Amsa is a BEAST!
The legend has finally taken his proper place in history. Congratulations, Amsa. We knew you would do it!
Yo, Amsa is just, wow! Incredible isn't enough to describe the way this legend played tonight!
Like Axe, he shows that with enough discipline & optimization, anything is possible, even for mid tiers. I believe if Amsa keeps this up, he'll be #1 for sure!
“I would’ve called timeout” lol waffles the best commentary imo
Zain please come to the stage please!
