So real and relatable! As someone who wants to launch their channel this reassures me that you don’t have to have a separate UA-cam space to produce super high quality content. It’s not the gear you have, it’s what you do with it. Love this!!!
Just discovered your channel - You make everything seem soooo doable - You are the epitome of what content creation should be - inspiring - Thank you Brittney
Brittney has always been a force to be reckoned with and I am grateful to be a small part on this creative journey. you shakin the industry and they aint ready. STL! MIZ!
You better come through with the video!! A couple of things: 1. Loved the entrance to your room at 1:10 and your overall usage of b-roll. 2. The color of the windbreaker added an extra level of fioness to you today. 3. This setup is everything and I've been enjoying your talking head videos. 4. Lol at 8:10 you're giving me "Y'all see this? It's all me! Y'all better recognize!"
I have the BV30L basically essentially the same tripod and like I LOVE THAT thing. Budget friendly and very sturdy!! WOW! didnt know you knew Nico and Eb...small world. Thats family from the STL!
Really enjoy your personality coming through this video. The bright look is my preference over anything dark but love how you're going. Would really like to see your take on camera/gear reviews but if you have another niche you're aiming for I think your personality will serve you well through most things. Found your channel from your comment on a Brandon Washington video. Your profile photo caught my attention. Keep up the great work!
Thank you! If I do a camera review I'll probably talk more about real life situations and do it in that way but I'm really enjoying my progress and seeing what the day leads me too! I'm definitely doing a review on my R6 lol.
It's amazing what you can do in a small space! I also film in my bedroom just because it's the place with most soft furnishing atm and everywhere else in my house has too much echo. Love the chair! I'm thinking of getting a cheap clapperboard to put in the background and like you said just make me feel like it's more real haha.
LOVE the new look! The hats are EVERYTHING lol. I’m definitely going to invest in the Godox because these lights will break the bank lol. Thanks for the inspiration as always!
I love this! I'm still trying to figure out where and how I'm going to set up a space for my talking segments. (I was literally gonna use the back of my SUV) . With that being said, Thanks for sharing what you did. It definitely gives me some inspiration. :)
Great set up! I recently got my set up dialed in as well! Got the same Godox light as you and I love it for product shots. I personally prefer my Neewer soft boxes for my talking head vids because it works better with my skin tone for some reason.
Loved this breakdown and the fact that the gear is really attainable for those just starting out. That double diffusion 👌🏻. Have you experimented with adding a hair/accent light?
@@BrittneyJanae the new Aputure 60x/d would be a great option to consider, or the MC if your budget is a bit tighter. That yongnuo wand light you have is insane value for £/$ though 🙂
@@JackIsaacVideo yea I’m down to check out other ones. I have a super small aperture light that packs a punch maybe I should try. I gotta get another c stand
I think your spot looks great, Told ya on FB I love the hats, and that shadow you create with that mirror looks great! Love your colors, and how it all flows! Also - I just ordered my R6 :)
Nice setup, you are doing great! What about setting up in a living room? As to low-cost tools, I've run a photo/video studio in midtown Manhattan for many years, and always used more cost-effective tools. Virtually never a problem. The only thing to be more careful with is if you are leaving the studio. Traveling/location work isn't harmed by having more rugged gear. Especially since you don't have as much back-up equipment with you that you might if something breaks in the studio. But even then, if you are doing indie work and mostly a one-person show, you will be careful with things. Unlike a team with a bunch of yahoos that toss lights around. Reminds me of a review I saw on the Rokinon cine lenses, and how good they are. But the biggest/only complaint was they weren't as rugged as more traditional "pro" gear. The flip-side of all of this is that with low cost gear, you can also afford more back-up gear, right? ;-)

Thank you!! And yes you don’t need one. Out of all my UA-cam setups they all have been in my room lol
Great break down! Love the look and the chair!
Thank you B!

Thanks FRIEND! we in there. You in there too! Cause if I'm in you're in. I'm taking all of us with me.
As someone that struggles to feel like my set up is good enough I love how raw and honest this video is!
Thank you! And just do you! I see others with fancy setups and it’s great but hey I feel like mines fit who I am so I’m okay with it
The music selections you put in your videos are so dope!
Thank you! I pride myself on trying to really put energy into my music lol
Lighting/softness goals tbh! Thx for showing us your magical space!
Thank you!!!!
Amazing video sis!
Love the setup! Knocking out 2-3 videos on a day is definitely #goals.
Do yo thang Black Queen.
your image is so clean, I'm going to get a ND filter to try it out, haven't been able to get the image I want yet. Great Job
This was so great to see you using such affordable gear and making it look as beautiful as you do!

🙌Love the look and vibe of this
This was extremely helpful. My space is small enough as it is but I see that I don't have to have the biggest space out there
Love your whole set-up, especially the light diffusion! Sheets and frosted shower curtains can really do the job!
production quality is A1! love the content! very inspiring

Nice simple setup! Thanks for the cost effective inspiration

Thanks so much Brittney! I was looking for an affordable but high quality light, I’ll very much consider these ones!
Just found you and subscribed… Inspired by what I’m seeing…

Man I have but I lost my other wand light so I’m gonna buy a new one for a hair light. I love how small they are since my room is small

thank you! Mostly when I shoot on location I rent equipment as well so I'm not always using the equipment at home.
Love it!
Underrated Channel .... +_+ #TRANDING !!!
I love you 😍
Do you have a link for that blue backdrop? The stand & all?
Hey just added the links in my description
Dope.. do you actually film in 6k?
No 4k.
Is that a bed sheet or an actual fabric diffuser?
It's a bed sheet.
do you have a standing desk?
Hey yes I do! I purchased off amazon!
