This video took me out of "I don't have enough money for my space to look cool" headspace to "I have all of this lying around and I should redo my entire room" headspace. Thank you so much!
I'm happy to hear the video was so helpful to you! Thanks!
I've designed and built some very expensive professional studios over the past 30 years, and THIS is every bit as cool, because you nailed the priorities: workflow and comfort. And zero wasted space or money! You are a very talented and resourceful designer, great job!!!
Really appreciate that! Glad you like the setup 👍
I knew right away after a minute that you are a fellow German soul, even if you're Belgian! So organized and incredibly useful and to the point. Thanks! 👌 ❤❤❤
Haha a Belgian with a German soul, why not 😅 Glad you enjoyed the video 🙌
When this storage room is bigger than my bedroom
When your bedroom is bigger than my bed 😅
Then you my friend may be in new york
I don't even have my private room .
Any room is what you make it.
Me who have my living room as my bedroom and the only room besides a kitchen and a bathroom in my apartment and yes it's smaller than this guys storage room.
Great work my brother! Proves you don't need a massive space for a functional studio. I have a decent-sized space, but it is geared mainly toward audio recording and mixing. I'm in the process of changing up the space for a photography/video setup. I'm genuinely blown away by the functionality of your space. Your channel deserves at least 500k subs. I'm sure we'll see you get there! Peace and blessings.
Gluing the sound panels to the picture frame backing is such a good idea!! Always been hesitant to glue them directly to my wall so I might try this in future for my small space studio i'm working on. Nice work my man!
Your designs always manage to strike the perfect balance between functionality and comfort, without sacrificing an ounce of style. You have a knack for maximizing space and utilizing resources efficiently, making your designs both practical and aesthetically pleasing. Truly a remarkable talent
Dude.. I'm just in the middle of the entire video and I'm already thinking: "This is gold" 🙌
Really appreciate that! 👍👍
Me too, good stuff 7:10
Dude you are the man! Proof that creativity still exists. I really like the movable sound panel solution.
Glad you like it!
Such a a different video with top noch expensive stuff. Thanks for that video, ideas and product recommendation. Glad to see cheaper alternatives that are SOLID.
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@SightseeingStan ok, now I see that this desk stand is impossible to get in europe in good price (because of shipping price) :(
I came up with a similar solution with my small YT studio, but I built it in my garage splitting the space on two rooms. Very good video. Take care.
This is the best budget tech video I have seen. I am amazed how much you did with such a small space. Makes me really appreciate my recording room so much more. Will definitely be picking up some of your recommendations.
Thank you! Really appreciate that! 👍
What a fantastic video, proving that you can get very professional looking results without going crazy on state of the art gear AND you don't need huge space to work in. Inspiring stuff. Thanks for sharing.
Really happy you enjoyed it! Thanks!
This video proves that creativity is all you need. Some of my equipments are overkill yet your content is still very high-prod quality 🏆🙌
Thank you! Appreciate it 👍
That's why you are a joke!
My office currently takes up my entire second bedroom and I am planning to downgrade the space needed for my setup so i can use the room for another use as well. This video was fantastic and really helped out. Good job!
The coolest thing about this video is that room looks like it is EXACTLY the size and shape of the room I'm currently setting up as a studio. I haven't really measured it, but it looks pretty close. I'm actually a musician and used that room years ago for some demo recordings for my band (mostly just vocals and some guitar stuff with one of my smaller amps; too small for a whole drum set or a whole band, of course. I have a bigger room next to the small one for that). But I just had some d.i.y. panels leaning against the walls in there. We were just a grungy punk rock band, so we weren't really trying for studio level, radio-friendly recordings.
But now I'm looking to do some video work for a channel of my own. I was impressed how good the audio was in your video using relatively little sound treatment (especially considering you've got bare, hardwood floors, I've actually got some of that very thin carpet in mine). That makes me confident with what I've got to work with. I also didn't figure I'd need that much sound treatment for such a small room; but it's good to see an example of what a room that looks very similar to mine can sound like.
As I said before, I've recorded audio, but never any video in there. I've recorded and edited a lot of video in the past, but it was mostly live performance stuff at different music venues. And some promo videos, and a few videos we'd sometimes project on a screen as part of our shows. I am also an animator, so tend to do a lot of animation in my videos. So that means I don't really have much experience using any kind of lighting. I've pretty much just filmed things as is, especially at the different bars and clubs my different bands have played in. Not too much you can do about lighting in those situations without it being a big and most likely intrusive hassle.
Just got a cheap softbox light from Amazon today in fact. Was gonna try that as a "key light" I think. Got another LED video camera light I can use to. Will see how that works. Really just starting to learn about all that, so any little bit of advice and/or product suggestions I can get from videos like this is very helpful. 🙂
Really glad you found the video helpful! There really is a lot you can achieve with little things. For sound, just having the mic close to you really helps with the quality and minimizing "room noise". And for lighting, it's good to experiment a bit with what works. But sound and light and probably the key things what make a video nicer! Good luck with your setup! 👍
I'm very determined but that's my worry that using my phone and a cheap laptop to start with
Love it. Thanks for sharing. I just took over a small corner of our extra bedroom/game room and I am taking the same approach. I will definitely use some of your suggestions!
Glad you liked the video! Good luck with your setup 👍
Great setup! I have a slightly bigger (not much) space and you have given me a lot of ideas. I really like the multi-arm monitor mount. I have several things scattered on my desk and two tripods - one for a light and the other for the camera, so getting all of this and the mic on a single stand would be a huge leap forward for me. Plus it would also reduce the barrier of setting everything up and to actually do some recording.
Glad it was helpful! I think that is a major thing, not having to do much setting up before you can start recording! 👍
its amazing setup and room and about your info is great brother love for india
Glad you like it
@@SightseeingStan welcome brother
That sound panel on a pitcher frame is a GAME CHANGER
Glad you liked it 👍
The lighting is everything
Yes for sure, lighting is HUGE!
This is the most superb use of space I’ve ever seen for such a small space. Everything is functional and efficient and I dig it 👍🏽
Glad you like it!
I kinda agree with u. As long as "it works", a budget one should be enough
Thanks for walking us through your setup! I have a small space as well and it's great to see how you can create a workable space without breaking the bank.
Thanks for watching!
This is what i really need! I have the same problem and the same space and this really gives me a general idea on what i can do. Thank you!
Really you found the video helpful! Good luck with your build! 👍
very beautiful, minimalistic, aesthetic, yet budget friendly ❤️
Glad you like the setup! 👍
You are very honest guy. Thank you for showing everything
Thanks 👍
Very valuable info. Thank you !
Dude I love this video! Thank you soooo much. This is exactly what I needed ❤

Love the simplicity of this.

Thanks brother, I am thankful that I had searched alpha m3 and got your channel. You are so nice, simple, informative guy. If ppl like you will be there then earth is still a nicer place to live in. Lots of love. Keep growing.
Really appreciate that! Thanks so much! 👋
You missed the most important thing.. the price!!
Links are in the description
Lol get in the description & grab a calculator
@@thecreativenetwork87 😂😂😂😂😂 that is the most important thing. Use the calculator
Still, why not save us the time of doing that and include it in the video? It's added value, I can promise you that the vast majority of people who clicked on the video looking for a price are not going to calculate it themselves
I can tell a lot of thought went into this setup, really clean 👌
Happy to hear you enjoyed the video!
finally a budget studio setup which is actually... budget. Love it man, cheers!
Love the vid! Living off the land - this is clean!
Thanks 👍
12 minutes and 36 seconds of pure smarty pants ideas - fantastic!
Glad you enjoyed the video! 👍👍
This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my UA-cam channel 9 months ago about self development. Now I have 1,738 subs and > 1k hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.
Nice to hear that! Keep it going bro! 👍👍
@@SightseeingStan Whoever you are, I don't know you personally but I can say that you're one of the non-judgmental and open-minded people who is not fixated on tangible or external factors in order to learn from someone like me. Just because someone doesn't have a piece of paper as a credential, doesn't mean that person is not entitled to share personal experiences with the hope & intention to inspire others. Keep up with whatever it is that you're doing to improve mankind or improving your life even to a slight degree each day. This is just one part of a bigger puzzle for creating my UA-cam channel about holistic health. I literally could have died back when I was 14 years old due to major depression but here I am right now replying to you, a UA-camr, who's full of fulfillment and dedication to help others to be a better version of themselves. I ain't better than anyone else but my old self. That's all that really makes this UA-cam thing more meaningful and enjoyable. Thanks so much for your support! I am hoping that you can join me with this endless personal development journey! :)
Most of the gadgets mentioned in the video are perfect for my needs. Its a great setup without spending ton of money. Thanks for the video.

I have watched so many youtube studio setup videos and yours by far is the best. It covers everything that I wanted and the best part is at lower budget. thank you for this video and now, I have better idea on how I would like to upgrade my area.
Glad it was helpful!
This is my first time visit to your channel and I really like your small studio setup. I'm just building my 10x12 feet bedroom as Home office / my bedroom / UA-cam studio lol

Great video, Great setup. You inspired me :)
Man that sound panel thing is so freaking smart especially for renters.
wow, such a creative, beautiful and affordable way of setting up a studio! Wish I'd seen this earlier before buying like 4 stands and fat lights
Thank you, glad you liked the video! You can always sell your stands and go more minimal 😄
This is a really nice set up but I do struggle to see the budget side of things, maybe is cause Im buying from mexico but every single piece here is extremely expensive on my country
I understand that the term "budget" is very different depending on where you are located but I can only talk from my perspective
@@SightseeingStan I understand that, and Im not trying to be disrespectful, sorry if it seemed that way.
@@coupleofdevilskc3fu Not at all my friend! All good! 😄
I love this. Spending little and still getting the stuff done.
Thank you! Glad you like it!
This just proves you don't need all the fancy tools & a large studio to make good quality content. GG dude, keep killing it! ✌🏼✌🏼

Sound panels on a pic frame is a game changer 🤯 great idea

Love this little space, almost a bit claustrophobic but I like what you did with it!
One simple word : excellent!!!
I'm in the process of using a corner for my home office. I completely love some of the items you have a great desk setup.
You sir are a good organizer, very neat!

You just changed the whole prospective of making a home studio altogether. I was looking out for the setup of video and photography for auditions and reels but your video was quite interesting and helps gettings ideas on investing at the right thing when on budget. Thank you so much.
Great to hear!
This is value for money to the max, really well done!
Thank you for sharing. You really gave me good ideas. 👍

Nice room! Got some inspiration for a box room I’m looking at. Quick thought: Drill a hole in the back of the desk drawer and wire the power strip through there, so that the cable isn’t hanging out the front.
Thanks! Yea thinking about doing that! 👍
That was such a well done video. Great job!
Glad you enjoyed it!
i love your desk set up and the way you invest in your equipments! so effective!

Nice set up for the space. Nice in-depth talk about each situation you have. I like the script thing and attach to the camera. I have been around for awhile but really just recently trying to get my channel going, but I'm limited on space and money. Thanks for the information about using a small space for a work area.
Glad you enjoyed the video! 👍
Cool. I did something similar by turning our walk in closet into my studio. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching!

Great video! Love the simple but functional setup 🔥🔥
Appreciate it!
the sound panel hanging is cool idea thx
You are a very smart man, all the best to you!
Appreciate it!
Amazing set up ! It’s good to see that you can set up a studio without having a large amount of space. I have my art studio where I film my art tutorials in my bedroom next to my bed with a space of less than 6 feet. I love it. I’ve slowly added things to my editing table downstairs such as a mic arm and microphone and have been looking for a small soft box I can use for filming my talking head shots
Glad you liked it! 🙌 You can do it! Good luck
Real nice and well thought out setup
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
Your awesome 👌🏽 I love it!!! Looks so clean and free 👌🏽
Thanks so much!
Your payout is amazing! Thank you for making this video.

WoW the Black soundproofing on the picture frame and the Monitor lights were my takeaways.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I have a similar small office room im looking to convert to vlog studio. This is by far the most informative video. Thanks
Awesome, thank you! Glad you liked the vid 👍
Finally someone that can actually explain the use of a monitor light. Still don’t think it’s for me because I have a room filling light on the ceiling in my office.
Thank you soooooo sooo much for your video. Very helpful. Shows how much you can accomplish with basic accessories.
Glad it was helpful!
Really awesome setup. Now I need to work my ass off to build something close to it
Appreciate it! And good luck!
DEFINITELY DOING THIS!!! AWESOME video man!!!!
