The Puntia's are beautiful but I have to admit they scare me. I have a tiny one in a 2" pot and it can stay that way for a long time! It's so good to watch my favorite UA-camrs exchange their plants!
I'm glad you already know Ana! She's got an amaaazing collection - just dreamy! And yes, the Opuntias can be pretty painful but these she sent are on the nicer side 😅
Oh, I’m watching it right now… I’m excited as well. As if I don’t know what is in it. 😁 … I’m so relieved to see they came in good condition. I was worried to ship them amidst an extreme heat weather we are having here. The piña colada has color changing flowers. Very interesting to see them have different colors each day the flower is open. 😃 That was so brave of you holding a pad with your bare hands! I literally gasped. 😱 😄 but thanks for showing us your technique to remove glochids. Your an inspiration, Andrea. 👍🏼
It is always exciting lol!! They are so neat and I can't wait to see them flower! I also read how the Piña coladas flowers change colors - that will be awesome! And how the Aureas grow kinda sideways naturally - they're all so interesting! I don't know if 'brave' is the right word considering how I kept getting pokies 😅 I was just too excited ha! Thank you again and again! 😘🥰
Hi Anna, I'm a subscriber from Lake Charles, LA and we may even have exchanged messages, but it's been a while. I have a succulent and tropical collection started and would like to add some Opunia to it in the form of a purple tinged variety I may get from Etsy. They're called Oputia violaecae. That striking b/c of their light purple color, and reasonaby priced.
I would love to send you some stuff too. All my plants are healthy cause I’ve learned from the best 😉 Anywho… if you’re in need of some plants still I could send u some nice ones! ❤️ Love from Louisville.
Glad to you see you got some awesome cactus after the bummer this earlier this year. My outdoor opuntias up here in MN, made it through the -20f for 2 weeks, and are putting off new pads. Hum., Fragilis, macrorhiza, escobaria missouri, and echinocereus triglochidiatus do great here. I have some mystery ones and one I got from a customer I delivered to in the fall survived the winter as a pad and rooted this spring. Its pretty humid up here too with all the lakes.
You are very inspiring to watch! I just recently started watching you and it’s inspiring to get into succulents and watching them grow! Thank you again

You gave her some good ones🎉👏🏽
Can you make a video on how to care for, propagate and pot up paddle cactus? ❤️🪴💚
It was long time we did not see you, wish you all the best, be safe always.
Thank you!
