Great of you to show the care sheet in a readable way. It’s basic information but it never hurts to review one’s abc’s. Aloe Haworthiodes is on my wish list too. It is reminiscent of Haworthia arachnoidea. I have had the pleasure of chatting with Kelly Griffin at our local society meetings about his Aloes, Agaves and botanical travels . I grow some of his hybrid Aloes but now I am trying to acquire and focus on growing small sized species Aloes , like A. haworthiodes. Small because of space! And species because I’m drawn to their (usually) simpler appearance. Three choice Euphorbias. I’m on the lookout for a nice E. symmetrica. Of course thanks to you, I’m going to research both E. debilispina and E. lenewtonii to see if they would do well under my conditions. ~ You really bring out the wonder and beauty of plants with your terrific filming skills. P.S. - If you can find it on the internet, Kelly Griffin was recently featured in a half hour TV show....A Growing Passion ....”Meet Kelly Griffin - Plant Explorer”, it’s on PBS tv channel. I watched it on the PBS app.. I found a 5 minute version on UA-cam. Search same title. It’s on the tv host’ YT channel, Nan Sterman . I put this video on my Cactus and Succulents #1 playlist.

Hi Daz! Amongst all I love the Notocactus and the 2 globular Euphorbias the most. That’s what I’ll be stealing tonight so you had better close all your windows and doors tightly tonight. The lewentonii is one I've not seen before, very cool!!! & the debilispina is very awesome!! And the symetricas are also very cool!!! There is a big article of this and obesa in one of my Euphorbia journals. Kinda explains the difference of the two and shows them in habitat. The Vito looks like it has chain saw teeth on the edges!! Love the spines on the Notocactus! WICKED!!! Thanks for showing us these great plants Daz!!! You know we love seeing them!!! Great unboxing!!! Beautiful... I have the Euphorbia debilispina and Euphorbia lenewtownii aswell... I got them also from Cactus Shop... A few weeks back now... I gifted some cuttings to Lyn and Hans on her unboxing video😆 they are such cool plants.
I have the notocactus turecekianus aswell, I got from WILKO with 3 heads 😂

I love the spines on the Notocactus, and a bonus it came with an offset. Yes thankfully no beasties on the plants this time, glad I gave the cactus shop another chance, they just need to improve the speed of their website, it’s painfully slow. @@maureenswallow3054 Most of the good books tend to be too expensive lol, especially the collectible ones from the 90’s and early 2000’s. Lots of good information in the Cactus World magazines from the BCSS, though 🌵🌼🌺☀️🏜

When you see your wishlist plants it’s hard not to buy them. Haha. I still have a few unboxing to do. I always see something I really want and if I don’t buy I know I will regret it because I will never see those kind anymore. That’s a great haul from cactus shop. You’re the euphorbia king haha. I wonder how many euphorbias you’ve got now. I have one big pot of that notocactus and I really love the spines of it and it always give me flowers. Wow that euphorbia symmetrica are so pretty 🤩 and of course I love the last part of the videos seeing them up close 😍😍😍 Thank you for sharing those beauties and have a great day to you and Edith 💚🌵

Last unboxing? We’ll see...🤣 Even Archimedes was doubtful. I heard him squawking in the background. it’s really hard to resist the temptation. Those plants are gorgeous! My favourites are the Notocactus with spines like toothpicks and the Euphorbia obesa ssp symmetrica. I’m partial to globose Euphorbias. 🥰As always, fantastic clips at the end. Maybe you should compile all those end clips, Sweetheart into one awesome movie. ❤️🥰😍🤗😘♾❤️

YES! VERY SLOW WEBSITE... EVERY TIME I GO ON THERE IS VERY UNPREDICTABLE WITH LOADING I GIVE UP AND GO BACK AGAIN EVENTUALLY I MANAGE TO ORDER SOMETHING 😆😂
Just wondered why you buy two of some plants and just one of others? I’m curious as to your decision making. Also when you remove soil from new plants and repot, do you wash roots in just water and do you use any fungicide etc?
Good questions. I got two of the Euphorbia lenewtonii as one will be a gift for somebody else, I got two of the Euphorbia symmetricas as they don’t come up for sale often and are considered unusual or even rare in collections. I’m also hoping I got lucky and one is a male and the other female, that’s usually the main reason I get pairs, for pollination if they should bloom at the same time. When I remove the old soil I wash the roots with water, I’ve not had the need to use fungicide for my plants yet thankfully, but I’ll likely get some just incase.
