- Ready or Not gameplay went from being a new SWAT 4 to the best SWAT videogame of all time now that Ready or Not is fully released. Ready or Not was great before this new update, in early access, but the full release version has beautiful graphics, intelligent NPC's and great customization. The Coop opportunities, especially with 4 players are just too good. Man this was fun to make. Happy new year anyone who reads descriptions quickly.

Vr port of this game would be insane.
There is a game called Geronimo that is being developed rn that is pretty damn similar.

Small correction.
Ready or not didn't lose its publisher because of its 'spicier game modes'. That was a rumor alleged by a gaming news website that was completely unsubstantiated. Void interactive's separation from its publisher was preplanned, and its publisher was with the game from the beginning and knew the entire time what type of content was going to be in the game, and was okay with that.
That entire situation is why Void Interactive is extremely hesitant to talk to gaming news media (including youtubers) about the game. Can't say I blame them, considering thats still the dominant narrative that floats around the game years later, and its completely untrue.
They separated from Team 17 because they found their QA testing too rigid and time consuming. With how absolutely borked the updates have been following the split, I can't help but feel that Team 17's involvement was the reason why this game isn't such a shitshow.
@@dylancounte1448 I don't know if this counts as technical knowledge leaving, but a lot of the original SWAT 4 modders brought in to help with the project left before the split happened.

My Christmas present to myself was making my fiance play this with me. Surprisingly! She actually liked it and we've been having a blast! 2 man swat clears are fucking hard though....
8:00 fun fact when using the riot shield you can draw your pistol down range and walk away from the range while still having your pistol drawn and you can still shoot but it does no damage.
The transition @ 0:10 was absolute gold.
If Habie was in SWAT I would join in a heartbeat.

SWAT 4 is the most realistic swat game ever made. When I play Ready or Not, I feel like I'm playing a Delta Force operator and not an actual swat team.
@@unoriginalperson72 Just because you own a gun doesn't mean you can shoot a gun. If you have a gun I want you to test something out. next time you go shooting, before you line up your sights, do some push ups, some sit ups, jog in place until you're out of breath then try to hit a target.
Now add adrenaline times ten in a real firefight because of the life and death situation. Combat isn't easy.
@@unoriginalperson72 Sure, the junkies trying to rob a gas station for $200 are prepared die in the name of that $200. Somehow non-lethal weapons encourage a suspect to surrender more than getting hit by an actual bullet. The streamer mission's briefing tells you you're only looking for one guy, but for some reason about 11 other people decided to start a firefight with SWAT that day. The AI will track you through walls, on top of the numerous bugs. I get the actual terrorists later on, but how does a crackhead, presumably high, pull a 180 and dome you as soon as it hears you? Not really realistic to me. Even Swat 4 took this into account, and that game is older than me.

Ready or Not is an amazing game the wonderful sound design, and awesome dynamic music along with the incredible story/ies that are told in the very detailed maps are impressive!

but like the AI, combined with some of the short-comings of the command interface + the heaps of missing and removed content just make me :/
Trying to explain this to people who are just getting into it is so hard, they fucked up 1.0 bad.
yeah imma wait for more updates before buying this. no idea why it's so expensive for a game that doesn't look like it has that much content.
I’ve played 100 hours in early access and I’m still amazed at the game despite it’s flaws (mainly performance issues)
The level design, varied objectives, team management and the morale grey zone it puts you in is enough to make RON a "hidden gem" in gaming

This has almost as many maps as Swat 4 and its expansion pack. Far more gun selection and is 10 bucks cheaper than Swat 4 when it released?
Like 1.0 is a bit iffy since they seem to have rushed it out but there are improvements.

At this point I’m time I’m liking the videos while they load in because I know it’ll be a banger.
I just ran Buy Cheap Buy Twice mission and the glass around the inner stairs is kinda bulletproof - out of 31 AP shots fired from SR16 point blank, only 8 had an impact hole on the surface behind the glass. NPC can spot and shoot you through 2 solid wooden crates even if you just hold an angle.
it's weird how all the youtubers praise the game, as if they haven't encountered bots shooting through walls, or having ungodly reaction time.
Not to mention the huge FPS drops

what i like about this game is the roe stuff, navy teaches the triangle of deadly force which are opportunity, capability and intent once those 3 are met u can use deadly force, an example would be a guy yelling he gonna cap you while he points a gun at you, he has a gun=capability, he has the opportunity= he just needs to pull the trigger and intent=he's pointing you with it and threating you, if he doesnt point it at you, you cant shoot yet and instead you need to deescalate by yelling to comply

Im honest here, this game made me have faith in the industry again. Like it's a good game, it's fun, it's challenging, you can do minor amounts of tomfoolery with friends and it isnt a plain cash grab. Like the devs actually wanted to make a game not purely make money. And I respect that, now that it's also out of early access even more so. Was there when the old starting maps existed and the game hasn't lost its character. Lovely game, good job covering it here

This game really needs a vr mode and a level editor.
i'm going to be honest with you, turning a pancake game into vr is expensive and never works well, a level editor would be amazing to have, but the game is a bit too detailed for that I feel like.

week 43 of trying to get habbie to play magitek vr. Please habbie just play the game its like rumble but with wind and fire bending solo story game plus i dont want to keep commenting the same damm comment before i get to enjoy your video
Edit: they added water and ice bending now we have every avatar element plus ice which is a water bending technique thats in avatar
Edit 2: in the story your on a island and you progress by completeing fire bending based trials. Now they just added a earth bending trial (btw the island is around 2-3 hours of content)

i played hotel for the first time at 4am in the pitch black and i swear to god its the best
I wish full launch still had the sandbox mode where you can pick different types of scenarios on different levels.
