I think you could run your monitoring app full-screen and run Google maps in the background for voice directions. On this watch you have to run Google maps full-screen because the map fonts are very small.

I still wear and love this watch three years later, but the watchband is coming apart and I notice the screen has a crack underneath the screen protector. My watch is "not long for this world"

You can store music on it internally, yes. When you connect the watch to PC, the watch appears as a hard drive. There is bluetooth and I am pretty sure you can stream music to another device from the watch.
Hey This Elcid there is a way to download music on watch without all that connecting to computer. An all is needed is for you to go on browser on the watch open google then text tubidy web page an then type in what music you need even videos an then download them on the watch an then go to watch music an you will see the music then just play. Hello im Elcid not him but I'm looking at you message an I worked with that watch all the time. From dealing with it for a long time I found out if you need to connect the watch to the internet just go to your phone if you got network on your phone. Go to settings on your phone an turn on your wifi tethering settings an then connect to your phone wifi. An then your phone will have internet service. Ask me an I'll let you know more if you need it.
Hi sorry for late reply, but anyhow I can't find any new big smartwatches. It's been dry since the pandemic started. In fact, I am on my second Ticwris Max S and as the strap is slowly breaking I may be looking at my Third Ticwris Max S. So that's what I recommend... Hopefully some new big watches will come out soon.
No I did not do a full water test, however the watch has survived minor splashes of water. Even though the manufacturer advertises water resistance, the printed warranty card explicitly states that water damage is not covered.

I had to send it back because it would not keep the correct time and I did everything I know to try to get it to change. I was thinking about getting the smaller version the max s. do you know if there is a way to flash a newer version of Android on these watches. It won't let me log in at all, to "update" youtube, may have to return this, any ideas? It's like I can't get it to manually let me sign in, says it has an error connecting to google or something, wifi is on, internet is working.

You actually have to reflash the firmware if you forget the unlock pattern. 😵💫 according to the user manual. Visit the Ticwris official website for the tools to do this.
I don't think we will see MicrosSD on these watches, ever. Also, the APPLPP seems very expensive and most of all, is NOT water-resistant. You really need water-resistance on a watch that expensive!

Thank you for this video! "Watch Droid" is fantastic!! One issue I'm experiencing is unlike you, I can't see what the text actually says when receiving the notification. All I'm seeing is that I have an unread text message. I'm not using the stock messaging app on neither the phone nor the watch. I have the full version of "Watch Droid."

Connect the watch charger to the PC, put the watch on the charger. In the watch settings (as if it were a phone) you must turn off "Charge by USB" and select instead "Transfer Files by USB".
I am pretty sure you can root this watch. Check "FullAndroidWatch.org" forums for details about rooting full android smartwatches like this one. I am totally enjoying the size of the MAX S and it does have a nice amount of screen area.
Looks like manufacturer firmware issues more than anything. My desire is to find a DM series watch with a microSD card slot, and standard watchband compatibility (I hate silicone). I want a "dressier" DM, with the silver case and a stainless steel band.

Put the charging cable on the watch. Connect the USB end of the charging cable to your computer. On the watch there should be a notification that says "USB charging- tap for more options"..... Tap it and then tap "Use USB for file transfer".

Personally I think the MAX S is a more reasonable size for actually wearing on your arm. Without a SIM card (I've never used one in a watch) you'll be fine as long as your watch is connected to your phone, and maybe also connected to your house WiFi. I'm still getting very good battery life (>1 day) with my MAX S after eight months of daily use.

You should be able to get text messages without a Sim card. Use the smartwatch app. For best results use Watch Droid. You can reply to text messages with quick replies or emojis or by voice-to-text
Firstly I want to congratulate you on being one of the best assistants I have had the pleasure to share your videos. Well don! I have closely followed your recommendation with regard to the Watch Droid Assistant but am having a problem connecting to my Nokia 3 Cell Phone. It appears to pair correctly but under the settings you have 2 options, one for the internet the other for contacts. Contacts work but it will not tick the box next to the "internet" option. As a result I am unable to enable the step tracking option.
No I am not. I must however mention that when I attempt to connect my Nokia 3 to the Ticwris that on the Nokia the "available connection" is greyed out???
I have checked up on whether or not I am using the paid version! I am indeed using what is referred to Watch Droid Premium which I bought! I have however reset the Wifi and Bluetooth and have now managed to enable the step tracking option. However I am still unable the click on the '"internet" option and when you side up the screen on the watch face, Bluetooth still has a red cross indicating that all is not well on Bluwtooth. Some of my Whatsapp text messages are coming through to my Ticwris but not able to view any pictures or video attachments?? Hope you can help?

Nova Launcher has changed since I made this video and I'm not sure it's the best choice anymore. Some people have recommended Total Launcher instead.

The MAX smartwatch and the MAX S are two different watches, but these apps and tricks should work for both devices.

You probably have to turn off "Battery Optimization" in the device's Settings to prevent Watch Droid (and some other apps) from going to sleep.

Personally I think the MAX S is a more reasonable size for actually wearing on your arm. Without a SIM card (I've never used one in a watch) you'll be fine as long as your watch is connected to your phone, and maybe also connected to your house WiFi. I'm still getting very good battery life (>1 day) with my MAX S after eight months of daily use.

@@JasonJ1968 everything is working fine except for no google apps and playstore. Most of my apps i download through third party stores. but without google play service and playstore, it's kinda hassle 😅

Bluetooth only no Sim card can you get text message and respond on watch
You should be able to get text messages without a Sim card. Use the smartwatch app. For best results use Watch Droid. You can reply to text messages with quick replies or emojis or by voice-to-text

I have closely followed your recommendation with regard to the Watch Droid Assistant but am having a problem connecting to my Nokia 3 Cell Phone. It appears to pair correctly but under the settings you have 2 options, one for the internet the other for contacts. Contacts work but it will not tick the box next to the "internet" option. As a result I am unable to enable the step tracking option.

I must however mention that when I attempt to connect my Nokia 3 to the Ticwris that on the Nokia the "available connection" is greyed out???
I have checked up on whether or not I am using the paid version! I am indeed using what is referred to Watch Droid Premium which I bought!
I have however reset the Wifi and Bluetooth and have now managed to enable the step tracking option. However I am still unable the click on the '"internet" option and when you side up the screen on the watch face, Bluetooth still has a red cross indicating that all is not well on Bluwtooth.
Some of my Whatsapp text messages are coming through to my Ticwris but not able to view any pictures or video attachments??
