- Let's repaint the idol! This is a return to an old project. Many years ago I found a cheap resin cast version of the fertility idol from Raiders of the Lost Ark. It's long past time we give this project a second go.
The idol I found on Ebay several years ago. You can still find similar props, either casts or 3d prints, if you look around.

Great video! I’m working on a smaller one for a birthday gift and following a lot of your process.
Did you also use 1000 grit for the wet sanding of the black gloss to knock down any imperfections?
This is great, but now I want to 3d print one and buy glass eyes off Etsy.
