Mme Czech, I no longer look for composers on UA-cam. I look for artists and now, one in particular, Marta Czech. I know you have most of the Bach BWV Catalogue committed to
memory, but your rendition of Beethoven 9th was magnificent! What a great and wonderful presentation. This one was to watch as well as listen. With the second movement, your
fingers were running all over the keyboard like children chasing each other in the park and
the keys were responding lifelike in the same manner. What an utter joy to watch and listen
to perfection in all its majesty. Not to end at the second movement, but with the choral
finale, the keys were responding likewise. I could hear the four vocalists: Freunde, Freunde
coming through loud and clear. Perhaps your expertise came down to you from one,
Ignazy Jan Paderewski. You are in the same class of pianists that is just high and above
most of the crowd. Take care and be well as we look forward to more of your excellent work (even on CDs). Tusen takk.

Dear Martha, while many young pianists chase fame and applause around the world, I see a great Brilliant pianist in you making quiet dedications to the artistry of classical piano music... I listened to Bach's Art of Fugue and Well Tempered Clavier and Beethoven's sonatas you played and enjoyed them immensely! As one of the other listeners commented, I find myself "glued" to your playing as well, making me come back again and again, wanting to listen more from you... My hat off to you, Marta!!!

You are an incredible talent! You really deserve much more attention than what we see here in youtube at the moment now. Actually, I dropped some tears thinking that maybe the greatest talents of all times were all lost to oblivion because attention was not always at the right place.

This was Beethoven's prayer for peace and love among men and women.
Somehow the far quieter piano version turns that into a more introspective meditation.
    Utterly moving.
Boundless gratitude to the pianist for all those countless hours of practice that has led to the possibility of sharing with us all.

Bravissimo, Maestra ❤. Alle Menschen werden Brüder, wo dein sanfter Flügel weilt…

I'm also enjoying your technique. I'm learning alot from watching you play. You made the Fazioli sing beautifully! I imagine Herr Beethoven would be well pleased with your musicianship!

Truly great pianist! Today listened both the Hammerklavier and Kunst der Fuge played by Marta Czech - became glued to youtube and couldn't do anything else. Cannot understand why Marta Czech isn't more widely known by now. Probably in the 21st century in order to get to Carnegie or Royal Albert Hall one has to play mainly composers like Rachmaninov.

Great pianists do not merely play a piano for us; they are, as here, fully immersed in the music; they enable the piano to speak to us with the voice of the composer. Marta Czech here enables a magnificent Fazioli to speak with the voice of Beethoven as heard by Liszt.

Marta Czech succeeds in showing us Beethoven’s genius in a different light, where the ultimate instrument, the symphony orchestra, is replaced by the transparency of the piano. The result is fascinating, not only the sheer act of reproduction of this monstrous work straight from a single brain (sometimes I had the impression that either Marta has four hands, or Liszt was sitting next to her), but by giving us a glimpse into the unfathomable composition process from the nucleus to full instrumentation of this magnum opus. Thank you, Marta.

Heuet: Das Gegenteil... Bach, Mozart, Beethoven e tutti quanti ÜBERALL ... im Fahrstuhl, im städtischen Omnibus ( ja, ja , ja ) etc. p.p.
Was sollen da noch Klavierauszüge?
    ThoBo

Bravo! Thank you for your excellent performance! I have two CDs of "Op.125 symphony 9" by List version, of "Kastalis" and "Chihiro Tan" (Japanese female).
Since about 1965 years in Japan, elder people used to discuss "Which do you like Fortwengler or Kalayaan?", it means a sort of probleme of tempo, I felt so.
My favorite conductor is Hans Schmitt Isselshtett.
"grandeur d' imagination bien expendu by Beethoven. and construction of this work(op.125) by video movie.
Each chapter had much charms and I can't write all of them here.
Every time I'm surprised at your ability of concentration , powerful energy, and fidelity and respect for the composer.
I add that I didn't at all be sleepy at 3rd chapiter. it was indeed beautiful, melody was beautiful and strings's piciccato expression was bien tempered.

It's like every phrase is being sung, even sections which you ordinarily wouldn't think of as lyrical, like the B-flat major double fugue in the last movement. It is almost beyond belief that a mere mortal can do this; I truly wonder if either Beethoven or Liszt could have duplicated this feat from memory. Ms. Czech has proven herself to be, at least, their peer. To analyze the graces or other of this miracle would be arrogant beyond measure. One can only bow at the feat of such a great artist. What is next, operas and masses, or original masterworks? Bravissima, Ms. Czech (although that seems way too little). You have left me speechless.

@@riri2803 Sight-reading means playing something while seeing it for the first time. Ms. Czech is not reading anything.
