Eleven years ago, on August 9, my partner and I found ourselves at a Deftones concert, completely entranced by Chino Moreno's electrifying presence. Surrounded by the raw energy of the crowd, we made a commitment that resonated deep within us. That night marked the beginning of a melodic journey, where music intertwined with our love, connecting us at the very core of our beings. Since then, we've thrived in that vibrant energy, allowing our passion to grow and strengthen our unbreakable bond.

@@shadowaccountYou sure you aren’t on methamphetamines? Ohms is a fucking monster. Legit probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite record by them.
I was there for this show and it was my first time seeing them live. It was Magical
So happy to see Digital Bath on the set list in 2024. One of the best of Deftones’ catalog. It has the mystery feel.
45:16 one of the best screams Chino ever made, on one of the best songs Deftones ever wrote... and then the transition to Rocket Skates... I would've died for sure
That’s because it’s backtracked. Sorry to steal your fun. 😅
Edit: I’m not talking shit. Just pointing it out.
@@MatDeCesareit's not backtracked, he just used the pedal to add distortion. It's an inhale scream and it's also not on the record.
Holy shit that was epic!
I don't think it's bactracked. For sure he's helping himself by using the pedal and by letting the guitarist do backing vocals. But he is in his 50s, so I can understand that. I saw them 2 years ago and the show was fucking mental!
@@ShooterEx it’s backtracked. If you watch closely the articulation of the scream changes which would show him articulating his mouth shape to manipulate his overall resonance chamber. I’m a vocalist so I recognized it immediately.
Still using instrument cables in 2024 🤘
Analog is the way to go

No laptop or backtrack included 😂
Funny Right. Chino must have some obsession about XLR mic cables :)
@rlg222 it's his thing. It's like no one is judging your ass for complaining a youtube comment.
This setlist is absolutely nuts. Swerve City, Lotion, Passenger, Feitceira opener.... sheeesh!
I wish they would’ve added Mein and Korea, I can’t find good live sets with those songs.
Wish we could actually hear the guitar on feiticeira

I saw this band live 6 times in the 90s, they were a big part of my late teens. So happy they're still going strong and consistently releasing great music. RIP Chi.

This was the most mind blowing performance of my life. Best thing I’ve ever done. Also I see myself in the crowd on my friends shoulders during Be Quiet and Drive. Seeing it live was surreal I’ve never been more happy. They were amazing.
I hope you experience many many more. Best, from an old tones fan.
I saw them on May 30th, in Barcelona. I was in first row. I can say virtually the same. One of the best concerts I've ever been to.

My 18 year old son will be experiencing Deftones amazing, loving energies in June, in the UK. I love you Chino and we love Deftones xxx
God bless you all
Eleven years ago, on August 9, my partner and I found ourselves at a Deftones concert, completely entranced by Chino Moreno's electrifying presence.
Holy shiiit ! Chino looks & sounds incredible, the whole band seems fresh af, what a career !
Deftones a Sudamérica!
Abe with Choptop on his kick drum makes me happy.

Is this the Chino of the early 90s? Sure seems like it with all that energy! It's like he never aged! This was so enjoyable to watch & I hope I can perhaps see them in concert, with this up ad coming tour for next year! Thanks for uploading this!
You will never hear them sound better than this. Those White Pony songs bringing back so many memories. Great performance from Chino. Just fucking special….thats what they are.
Saw him with crosses in London recently and vocals were perfect, he’s defo done some training. So excited for them to be back in London, his banshee screams are insane
Saw Crosses in February in NY it was bloody amazing..
Of all the bands I grew up with, few have had the staying power of Deftones. I wouldn’t say they were my favorite band in high school, despite how much I loved White Pony, but every album got better, and every year I listened to them more and more. Now? Easily the band I’ve listened to the most frequently for the past decade.
They're a fine wine. Remember when everyone hated the self titled? 😂 They're pure genius.
ADRENALINE IS BY FAR MY FAV!
Abe is a beast after 2 decades of hearing him drum.
This is the best Chino performance I've seen sincsaI saw Deftones in 2013 at Aaron's Amphitheater in Atlanta.
Love seeing Shawn back in action with the Deftones lads!
I met Slopez once at a venue and he was such a nice guy
Chino's voice is a shade of what it used to be, but I'm so happy seeing him this happy. I feel like he's finally found peace.
Seriously? Are you deaf? I think he sounds freaking unbelievably awesome still!

the little exchange between Chino and Abe at 36:05 is very warming. In a split second they both showed their awareness of the songs hiccups with amusement, gentle indifference, and decades of comradery all at once. Such an honest moment between friends/bandmates

@@mckendo83 The two 'unknowns' currently I'm tracking are why they didn't let Sergio simply become a full member like what happened with Frank back in the day, who has played bass on the new recording, and why they need a live second guitarist (it seems Chino has cut way down on playing his parts on stage)
