Thanks for this video. I just purchased some ornaments for my 20 watt. This video saves me time and effort since you're already answering questions i had.
Thank you!!! You are a godsend. I have been trying to figure it out on my C02 laser and could not get it right, but now i can use my wecreat instead. 😊
We have the Vista so there is no auto focus function. Any suggestions? Also what settings should we try? Think we shouldn’t have purchased the 10w😢. Very few videos since it is so new. Thanks for your great instructions.
@@IreneCotta this machine absolutely has an autofocus. You can also add your thickness manually. You may need to raise the machine up with the legs or you can use the rotary tool. As I don’t use my 10w much you will have to do like I did and test settings to find the right one.
@ The only option available to us is Auto measure that does not work properly. We haven’t tried the ir yet as we have been trying to get the cutting settings correct. We will try to see if we can input manually. Thank you for your help.
@@IreneCotta the autofocus function is the same as auto measure its measuring how far from the product your laser needs to be. I own both machine and that function is the same for each. There just may be something you are missing when doing this step. Also if your ornaments are glossy you need to place a piece of paper on top of them for autofocus to work.
When we use auto measure we always get a warning that the says the current thickness entered is negative, which will cause a laser head to impact the equipment leading to decrease accuracy and in severe cases permanent damage to the machine.

I have the 40 white and I am wondering why it won’t let me choose the 3 MM setting. It automatically goes to 9MM. I went to custom settings, but it does not let me choose a thickness. When I put three or 3.0, it does not save it.
Question on sizing…. How do you know how big you can make it before it falls off the edge. I’ve been trying g this and I feel like your designs are bigger than I can get mine .
I have the 40 W. You will not let me go into black acrylic because it automatically puts the default as 9mm. I tried to go to custom settings, but it won’t let me do that. Can you help me out.

Glad to see this in action. I brought one but I have to remodel my craft room to make permanent room for the machine so I don't have to move it ❤❤❤❤
You’re going to have so much fun once you get it all set up!
