Yet you are a witness to what may be the most authentic sounding, high-lonesome echos of Appalachia in decades. As you listen you hear more and more textures & lyrical gracefulness. This may be the most interesting group alive today.

Made me think of a situation I went through - I got lost on my way back from home...haha...was headed straight to Nashville from Baltimore (through Northern VA) and was going to tell them big labels they are all going to have to pay for my tears filled with frozen tears cold nights, broken bones in the alley, and unexpected warm mornings from my father. Love those mornings when I would call home and hear my mothers voice. Woke me up like corned beef and eggs. My Dad was a West Virginia offspring of the greatest human beings on this Earth.
