Interesting , after mine had come back from " re-tuning " ( I Chrono'd it from out the box , and it was way too low ) anyway Chrono'd again and it came out something like this ( I have got it written down , but I'm not getting out of bed too look just yet , it's only half 6 ) 11.7 11 9.5 6 Yes , there are 4 clicks on my adjuster knob , but ultimately the second click down makes little difference ... What I ARE going to do is , re ~ Chrono , as it's been well over a year since .. and it's bound to have changed after the wearing in process ... Lower power IS usefull if you don't want to spill brains over your lawn on higher level of power ... As I did a week ago ( 15 yards ~ ish ) Btw mark Tried the think on the back of the action too cock it idea ... Big thumbs up , amazing really how I never figured that out myself
hi mark,,dont think the grouping is really that good considering its at18yrds,maybe a lighter pellet might be better, and why our rifle manufacturers have power settings on a sub 12ft/lb gun i really dont know but everyone for themselves, personally i would want the full power that is legal in uk for target shooting and especially hunting so being able to turn the power down to say 7 or 8 ft/lb dosent seem to make a lot of sense,i can understand it possibly for fac guns but there you go,,nice little rifle though.,👍
Yes I agree, the heavier pellets only suit. 12 ft/lbs. I only used them to see the power across the range, as the 8.44 grain usually pellets only return about 10 ft/lbs through the rifle, but would probably perform better at the medium and low settings. All I could see this for is indoor 10 metre shooting, but then you'd be better off with diopter or iron sites.
@@airgunsniper-elite7385 Having shot competitive 10m air rifle I have to say the vast majority of air rifles for 10m use are set at no more than 6fpe... Air Pistols no more than 3fpe. Higher power of course helps a lot at longer ranges (over 50 yards) but you dont need 12 fte to punch a hole in a paper target. Hunting of course is a different matter.
Is there any way of adjusting the power yourself if it's shooting low ftlb on the highest setting without having to send it back to brocock
It went through same hole and you still touch your turrets??? .
Lovely rifle .. mine had so many problems we called them it the Hancock hr
Hi, what issues did you have as considering this rifle.
It doesnt seem to like those pellets? Over such a short distance I would expect much better.
What do ypu think of the fx chronograph
Mantap 👍👍👍
