Poor Carol! She really doesn’t want to kill anyone anymore, but she keeps getting put in situations where she has no choice! She’s such a badass even when trying not to be 😂😢
My guess is that she created that badass persona to cope with her losses and even to just survive without being a burden for others to protect. Now she's finally starting to break, but she knows people are counting on her badass persona to be there when needed.
I feel so horrible for her it's crazy 😭 - The worst part about it all, is I misjudged her this entire time. I truly saw her tough persona as a product of the true Carol coming out, but instead it's a defence mechanism to protect herself from the pain. UGHHHH I just cant.
The thing about Carol is that she is not afraid for her life or that someone might kill her, she is afraid for THEIR life. Thats why she keeps telling the girl to run and stuff, she knows what she s capable of.
SO many people dont understand Carol's character in this episode and why shes acting the way shes acting so im SO glad you understand her, as unbelievably sad as it is
You know I thought to myself watching this reaction, "Who we really need right now is Hershel." And it's so true it made me really sad xP that wise, level-headed and nurturing man is exactly who the group needs rn
This episode is so intense yet nothing really happens. Like you said this episode is so dark. Carol is at a breaking point right now and she is so tired of the constant killing of people.
It is genuinely so cool hearing your thoughts at the end of each episode. You have such an interesting and in-depth perspective on everything, and it's an absolute joy to watch (even though some of these episodes are really brutal to reexperience even through a reaction)! It reminds me of my spiraling thoughts after watching all these episodes for the first time, lol. I'm excited to continue watching your journey!
It’s our group or them at this at this point in the apocalypse, you just have to choose a side and hope they make it out alive. That’s why most of our group will do whatever’s necessary and worry about emotions after
Good reaction Dan. Yes this episide will do that to you. Carol doesn't want to kill anymore unless her family and people are being attacked, she's struggling with the GUILT of it all.
This is one of my ❤ episodes of the show. Almost like a chamber play, what's happening tears Carol's mind apart and amazing acting by guest star Alicia Witt as Paula.
I’d like to think that I would be able to show Mercy but honestly I’d probably wind up like Carol in this position a lot. There’s just some people you can’t afford to show mercy to, especially not in that world
i cant wait til u get to later seasons so i can hear how u rationalize and work out the morality of future scenes. its what i tend to do in every episode. always trying to think about both sides. not just our group. it gets interesting whe u realize and think about how every group is just trying to protect their own. some more creul than others but for those that just want to stay alive it gives more to think abt
Hi All one of the Mods here! 😀 just a friendly reminder please absolutely NO SPOILERS WHATSOEVER, no talk of characters, character arcs, even something small that you can't decide if you should or shouldn't post that you probably shouldn't. I mean this in the nicest way possible... but there will be little to no tolerance for spoilers. If any spoilers are seen your comment will be deleted then it is up to the other Mods and Dan if you get blocked. We are getting closer to the season finale. Plus the spoilers are really getting out of hand So please just sit back relax and enjoy this awesome reaction video. Thank you! ~🧟♀️ Mod 🧟♀️~
Yes, we did start the fight with the saviors. We did. When that savior told carol we were the bad guys, in this situation, she was right. However, they would have found Alexandria eventually and we would still have to fight or submit. Those are the only two options. So was it better we make the first stike? I don't know. One things for sure, neither us or the saviors know what they are getting themselves into.
We might have started this altercation, but they started with us first when they stopped Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham. They were going to kill Abraham and try to force Sasha and Daryl to take them to Alexandria.
Great reaction again! I’m glad we got to see this side of Carol this episode. She is one of my favorite characters For Sure. Even from season 1 I felt attached to her, and now she’s grown so much. Such a complex character who cares so deeply for people but does what’s necessary, even if it scares her. Didn’t mean to ramble but it’s all true :)
Exactly WE heard about them. Our group came in and killed then in their sleep. It’s disgusting, I love our group but as viewers we need to realize that was inhumane.
what is really inhumane is the saviors beating a kid to death, taping pictures of people they killed on their walls like trophies, taking as much as they want from people, yes what our group did was wrong but these are by no means good people. they kill like it’s a sport, they are proud of it, they get off on it. our group hates having to do it but it’s what they feel needs to be done. our group was desperate for food and made a reckless decision, but when it comes to the saviors i have no empathy. they are disgusting and worse than many other villains in TWD. as a viewer im more scared of what the saviors have done, and are capable of, then the one wrong decision our group made for the good of others.
@ someone was a Glenn fan lol. You have no idea what people the people in that compound had done or felt. Most of the horror was Simon actually. He killed the boy and the boys at Oceanside. Negan doesn’t kill kids. Rick tried to overthrow alexandria and pointed a gun at children and innocent people. The point is it’s our fault what happened to Glenn, Abraham, and Denise. And prob everything after that. If we hadn’t killed the people in their compound they never would’ve went after us like they did. Sorry you can’t see any outside prospective
@@lexithefangirl11 i don’t think they would’ve never gone after our people. they already crossed paths with daryl, sasha, and abraham. there would’ve been revenge for that alone. daryl ran into dwight and sherry, so the saviors knew about alexandria. they still would’ve killed one of our people, because that’s what they do do every group. they killed a member of the hilltop, oceanside, the kingdom, etc. to get what they want they did whatever they had to. the saviors are bad. yes things would’ve played out a bit differently, but they would’ve killed no matter what. simon being the worst isn’t an excuse. he was negans most trusted man. he should’ve controlled simon. he didn’t care, he wanted people to fear him. negan wanted power and would do anything to achieve that. he went as far as to melt peoples faces with a scolding hot iron, throw his doctor in a blazing fire, make women his “wives” and use them as he pleases. he didn’t care if his men killed kids. the 16 year old boy from the hilltop wasn’t the only kid killed. oceanside had kids as young as 11 slaughtered along with all of their men. they want people weak, unable to fight back, and scared. it wasn’t just simon. negan may not “kill” kids, but that doesn’t make him a good guy, or better than simon. rick made the right call, he just should’ve been smarter about it. i see the saviors perspective, but it doesn’t mean i give them a pass. negan is a bad man, the saviors are bad, they have done way worse things than just killing some people in their sleep. negan was mad that rick killed his men, not because he cared about them, but because he couldn’t use them anymore. it’s uncomfortable to see our group make a decision like that, but it wasn’t the wrong one. i’m not the kind of person to give a pass to people as inhumane as the saviors, even if our group made an inhumane choice. it was a necessary evil from our group.
I'm glad you watched Saw & are acclimated to gore. I still don't like what we're doing BUT on the other hand, people want to live in peace, not under the rule of brutal bullies & thieves sooo...gotta do what you gotta do.😅
That's the crazy thing! We will never know whether this was the best way forward, only that it has worked. Imagine the mental toll that must take on a person :'( Also, yes I am glad I'm more acclimatised to gore XD, it certainly makes this a bit easier XD
Carol is in a very bad place right now, but don't worry the show will be built on this and there is always an issue 😉. Keep going I like your reactions .

Very slept on and underrated episode
This episode is so intense yet nothing really happens. Like you said this episode is so dark. Carol is at a breaking point right now and she is so tired of the constant killing of people.
I hate that Carol feels this way 😭

If rick was an antagonist, he would be the scariest one so far.

Carol hyperventeing......
Just remember in S1 at the CDC she did say she was very claustrophobic when they were going down in the elevator

Hmmmm... the further we fall into this darkness, the less likely I feel we can come back from the trauma. It's literally horrible 😭
Woke up and got a video to watch!
🕺
Good reaction Dan.
Yes this episide will do that to you. Carol doesn't want to kill anymore unless her family and people are being attacked, she's struggling with the GUILT of it all.
Im so sleepy but this is worth way more than sleep 😍😴
Please don't become sleep deprived XD
After the season two episode, this is , to me, the most heartbreaking Carol episode ever.
The grove?
This is one of my ❤ episodes of the show. Almost like a chamber play, what's happening tears Carol's mind apart and amazing acting by guest star Alicia Witt as Paula.
You've been killing it lately!
😋
Well I was just about to go to sleep but…… 28 more minutes awake won’t hurt 😉
Good thing it wasn't a TellTale episode XDXD
I’m about to watch. I’m very excited as always. I love this episode. Keep up the amazing the reactions, Dan!
I hope you enjoyed it!!! 🎉
Savior girl slices Maggie's shirt - dan 😯
Carol shoots savior girl - dan 😳
I appreciate your optimistic views
I love watching every reaction, and have loved them since day one. Keep em coming Dan!
You likely wont see this since im not a member, but you're correct, thats the same exact set they used for the original SAW movie!
I’d like to think that I would be able to show Mercy but honestly I’d probably wind up like Carol in this position a lot. There’s just some people you can’t afford to show mercy to, especially not in that world

Wait we get multiple uploads this week? 🙂

Also I like the new member badge
It looks way better huh!
Shout out to the ladies of TWD on just an amazing episode!
My heart hurts for Carol. Great reaction Dan

This was a good episode but does show carols weak side
Hey Dan! When are you gonna watch Breaking Bad?
Carol is in a very bad place right now, but don't worry the show will be built on this and there is always an issue 😉. Keep going I like your reactions .
