Okay... leaving this comment to let people know. It took SOOO much strength for me to actually upload this! I've never been broken down like that on this channel... I'm also as a bi-product struggling to find motivation to record again... I was supposed to record some TellTale today.. but couldn't. I promise there is more coming! I'll do a "Beyond The WOH" tomorrow, just to hash out my thoughts of 8X8. Hopefully I get TellTale done by the weekend too. This episode is a WHOPPING 45 minutes, and there is an emotionally charged outro to top it off. I hope this makes up for any lack of content this week... (If any)... ENJOY ANYWAY XDXD
This episode is definitely the darkest point of TWD. Also, the biggest stray from the source material, if you weren't aware. Carl was the future, as Negan said.

I know it's a hard one, we were the same on our first watch and even on my many re-watches of this show I STILL cry😢😭 every single time, but just like you I immediately suspected Carl was bitten from the look on his face when it actually happened when that walker was close to his right side when he was fighting the other walker on top of him, then when he got up and looked down on his shirt that was a BIG giveaway.
Then because it was dragged out over a little while I started to doubt myself thinking maybe you over-thought that scene, but when he told Negan he would die to save others I thought "hold on a minute...".

Probably the worst decision ever made on this show and it was so obvious even for people who didn’t read the comics that they were setting up coral to live till the end smh like Glenn’s death was necessary but this is dumb as hell

I’m so excited/anxious to see this reaction. This episode is a rollercoaster and has a bit of everything. The final soundtrack used in the episode is one of my all time favourites from TWD. Dramatic into Carl’s theme 😢 The theme used when Rick gives Carl his gun in the barn at Hershel’s farm. It’s also used in the episode Lori dies in. It gets me every time I hear it 💔😭

I knew this episode was coming and I remember the feelings I had the first time I watched this episode, its heart wrenching sometimes. Stick with it though, its an amazing story through and through.
My jaw dropped when I saw Carl got bit. I even had a weird feeling that Carl was going to die b/c when this episode starts and we see Carl talking to Rick abt what comes after this war and wanting a possible peace w/ the saviors. I remember telling my dad that I strongly believed Carl was going to die and that maybe his death would end this war that they were in since Negan liked Carl.
When Glenn died, I hated Negan. When Carl died, I hated the producers of this show. What a terrible choice, you know? The tears are caused by so many deaths. In fact, with each unnecessary and poorly thought-out death on TWD, a little bit of the show dies.

This episode was over six years ago, and I’m still furious about it. Worst decision ever made on the show. And I love this show. But Carl represented the future. Made no sense.
I was low key scared watch this episode when it first came out too even I read the comic but Ik there gonna change some things that’s why I was scared
I couldnt watch you watch this.. i knew it was coming and how it would hurt you. Ive tried 3 times. I made sure to like and comment.

Honestly, I don’t buy it. This emotional display of yours screams phony to me and it’s so cringy. I really feel like you think you need to show emotion when these sad events occur on the show and do you force yourself to cry but barely anything comes out because I guess you’re not a crier… and that is okay. You debt have to cry or even be sad. So stop that man, it’s so cringy.
