It always amazes me when humans decides to get of their butts and do something. We can be so creative when we choose to. Sitting and thinking about a build is one thing, but unfortunately, that's usually as far as many of us get. When we get off our butts and put those thoughts into motion, our creativity is infinite. Very well done.

I have just discovered your channel and watched several videos. I have to say, your ingenuity and simplistic design of your homemade machines is genius and a joy to watch. It shows that even if you can't afford all the big fancy machines, you can still get them with a little thought. I'll definitely be copying some of your ideas for my shop. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Great video. The first one of its kind that I’ve seen. After watching this one, I found many others like it but kept coming back to this design cuz it doesn’t require industrial shop tools to build. Thank you for the inspiration!
I’ve finally completed my version of this concepts and modified it to be incorporated into a rolling workbench with a flip-top expansion lid to double my work space. It was so much fun to apply a little reverse engineering to create solutions to challenges.
My next step is to create an incorporated dust collection system to help with all the sawdust this monster’s gonna produce 😎
I did miss a few details on your build that I wish I hadn’t. First, the top should be a double-thick plywood...a smooth finish on top with standard grade for the underneath. Also, the side disc sander assembly is trickier than it looks due to the critical importance of balance and alignment...but that just took a little trial and error to work out the bugs.
I look forward to using my 4 in 1 to creating many more of your projects and upgrading mine with some T-Tracking, and the other add-ons you’ve made videos for.
    Thanks again! Very good video!

I think it’s a great idea. For everyone asking about dimensions. It’s just a basic box design you can make it as big or as little as you like just depends on the size of your projects.

  • @stevenmoore3130
    @stevenmoore3130 4 роки тому +4

    Brilliant.
You could easily add some Internal sound proofing to the box.
Important for working regularly in built up areas.
A safety guard could also easily be added for the circular saw.
And a fence for the router.
All in all, an excellent idea, makes you wonder why a big manufacturing company have not picked up on it.
Its a must for DIY enthusiasts with limited space
Up there with the Brit that invented the Black and Decker workmate in the sixties now copied by many.
    Well done.

FOR THE PEOPLE WHO ARE TRYING TO BELITTLE THE MATERIAL USED HERE; SO, THIS IS WHAT I SAY:
This project is for the people who have not the necessary means to build a posh one! Here, the most important thing is, THE IDEA ITSELF! What's bothering you guys? DO YOU HAVE A SECRET AGENDA, or ARE YOU JUST JEALOUS? If you want and have the necessary means then you can build a gadget from the steel material to your own personal taste!!! Or is it JUST SOUR GRAPES? YOU ARE SUCH A DIVA!!!

Does the sawdust fall into your circular saw and get sucked up into all of the electric motors? how do you keep the sawdust from damaging the motors? Maybe a built-in vacuum to suck the sawdust up out of the box? Maybe remove all unnecessary parts of the floor of the box so the air in the box is clean and clear?

I mean, think about it you Mr Know-it-all, for somebody that has industrial needs OBVIOUSLY are not going to be looking for "how to build 4 in 1 workshop" videos!!......most of the ones interested in this videos are amateurs trying to start a hobby doing small wood projects on the weekends in their houses....so lighten up!
If you think you can make this better, well, do your own video and show us your "expertise" in this craft......make a "how to build a 4 in 1 industrial supercharged and super powerful workshop" with big holes all over the box for your heavy machinery that you pretty sure are going to install in your version of this thing.....if you are not going to do anything, well, I suggest you don't comment and go to the next video, with all do respect Sir. Ok, though I don't think that table saw modification is a good idea. There's quite serious kickback possibility without blade guide. I though about this same thing, but came to a conclusion that it's way too dangerous to use. I'll just cut bigger sheets with guide and something like styrofoam or wasteboard behind. But it's everybody's personal thing to do what they like. Just wanted to point this thing if someone without any experience wants to create something like this. Guide blade is very critical safety design on table saws, please keep that in mind.
