Within seconds of watching, you could clearly observe one of the biggest no nos in woodworking. He's cutting and the string from his hoodie is dragging on the cutting workpiece. Wearing loose fitting items is potentially dangerous. Secure that dangling string dude. Also, you're cutting a workpiece at the beginning, with your fingers less than 1 inch from a blade spinning at 4700rpm. Remember, the cost for complacency can be terribly high.
Other than those things, this is a really cool project!

    •  2 місяці тому +1

Hello. Your criticisms are completely valid. It was a very careless and error-filled work regarding security. But now I am more careful. Thank you very much for your interest and liking my project 👍

Komsu, the first cut was the most dangerous thing I have seen done on a table saw. I would hardly approach it that way. Good job though!

how did you perfectly cut the hole for the saw blade? with perfectly angled with 90 and 45deg? did you use the adjustments for cutting deepness? this is the best DIY table saw ive ever seen here...

    •  3 роки тому +6

Hello there. First of all, thank you very much. I'm happy that you liked it. First I make a 3D drawing of every tool I make. I take the exact measurements of the saw in my hand. After that I place it in the 3D drawing and look for any rubbing or bumps. Honestly, my job gets easier after that. If the saw hole was not complete, ie play, this would cause the miter to run away later on. This was important. Thank you again for your interest. I recommend you to watch my other videos as well. For example, you will be interested in the tools I made for this table saw (fence, sledge, straight cut, miter gauge) and my jigsaw video. Please continue to follow. have a nice day

which screws do you use to fix the 8mm laminate on the mdf top? I'd like to replicate your project thank you I hope for your reply thank you very much

    •  Рік тому +1

Hello. As far as I understand, you are asking about the screws that I fixed the white MDF boards to the 18mm raw MDF board. These screws are 3.5x25mm wood screws. However, the screws need to be shortened by 2mm from the ends. Because it is possible for the coating to blister. You can easily do the shortening with a side cutter or pliers. You'd better fix it with double-sided tape like I did before screwing it on. you already know that you can find the project plan in the description section.

    •  Рік тому +1

    •  2 роки тому

Bonjour.

    Hello Murat ,
many thanks for this video . I have a question for You , could I implement router and Jigsaw into this table ointo the right side with your measures / size of the table ?

    •  Рік тому

Hello. Firstly, thank you. I thought of installing a router on the right side. But in this case, the router does not enter the crate section. If the table is extended from the right and left and the chest section is extended according to these dimensions, both can be.

I am building a table saw based on your design. I examined the PDF document carefully, but could not find what is the thickness (or depth) of the wood piece 1, the plywood that is used as table top. I assume that is 18 or 20 mm, but I would like to know for sure. It is a really good design, and I specially like that it does not require to drill the circular saw shoe, so the tool is removable. Thanks for sharing!

    •  5 місяців тому

First of all, thank you very much and I apologize for getting back to you late. Part number 1 is designed to have a thickness of 18mm.

No problem, and thanks for confirming the thickness. I live in Canada and we use imperial system, so will use plywood that is 0.75 inch (~ 19mm). Cheers!

Excellent project, I would like to know how you make the saw switch or what materials did you use? I hope you read me, thank you

    •  8 місяців тому +1

Hello. Sorry for the late return. I adjust the height of the saw by opening the brown cover on the top. So there is no mechanism. When I need to adjust the saw angle, I do so by opening the upper compartment, which opens in the shape of a chest lid.

    •  Рік тому +1

Hello. Of course it would be better if it was metal. However, it can be a bit difficult to DIY metal work and if welding is required, Miter welding can be a bit of a challenge. I have been using it very effectively for 2 years. I am really pleased. However, I am thinking of making a table saw with a metal frame and an electrically adjustable saw height.

did you screw the wooden plate from top or bottom on nothing?
      magnets would be cool

    • @meex88hiphop
      @meex88hiphop 2 роки тому +1

i think he used 2 --- screws, you can barely see by the end of the video

    •  2 роки тому

Thank you for your interest. I screwed piece 1 (18mm MDF) to pieces 2, 3 and 4 (8mm coated MDF) from the bottom. I chose this method so that the screws are not visible and there is no indentation on the top and it looks visually beautiful. I also applied this method in my jigsaw video.

    •  2 роки тому

I used a lot of screws to make it solid. The upper parts both form the upper surface and act as a rail for the slides. Therefore, the number of screws had to be more.

My friend.. This is a stunning job u have made of this homemade Table saw. I was thinking for a long time of rebuilding my cheap 1500W table saw bcos the top is so uneven and I cannot use my top of the line Mitre gauge bcos the slots are too small.
I'm struggling to work out how to table the blade housing out of the old saw and attach it to a wooden cabinet I'm trying to build. I guess I will need to get some pencil and paper out and start to design how I'm going to rebuild the whole saw.
I also want to have seperate wheels to bring the blade up and down and another wheel for the different angles. That's another thing I'm struggling with atm too.. LMAO.,.
I know I will work it out eventually bcos It either I work this out or I will end up having to pay out 2-3 Grand for a Cast Iron table saw and that's money I cannot afford to be spending right now so I better get my brain in gear like u did with this brilliant saw u made here my bro..
I'm so impressed with how u thought this whole thing out and then how u built it. Big up to u my bro and keep up the brilliant workmanship. I can only hope to be as good as u one day soon.
How long have u been woodworking man?? Hope u don't mind me asking u a couple of questions if u have the time to answetr them..

    •  Рік тому

Hello. Firstly, thank you. My main profession is Electronics. But I love working with wood. I do it myself because I don't want to spend big bucks. However, there is no mechanism for the elevation adjustment and angle adjustment you mentioned in the bench saw I made. I'm thinking of making a table saw as you said. I'm thinking of using a more powerful and quiet running treadmill motor for this. I've used this motor before on a drill stand and sanding station. I draw 3D first and then bring it to life. I will do the elevation and angle adjustment you mentioned electronically. For now my current table saw does the job, but for deeper cuts I need a motor to fit a larger saw. You can ask me any questions you want. I try to answer as best I can.

I will now be rebuilding my old homemade table for the saw.
I would like to seek your advise on:
The Kurf of my blade is 2mm.
Cutting 6, 10,12mm wide Dado is tedious.
Can we mount a Wall Chaser underneath the table and use it for cutting shallow depth of Dado.
Wall Chaser with multiple blades (Diamond Cut) with width capacity upto 30mm.
Is this a good idea. Or this will be too risky.
Only for upto 12mm deep grooves.
    Please. Mr. Murat.

    •  2 роки тому

Hello. You can do this if the appropriate equipment is available. The shaft attached to the saw must be suitable for doing this and the power must be sufficient. In other words, if the saw engine power is low, there may be difficulty in wide cutting.
