Thanks! I tried its factory A5000 Editor by Yamaha (it sits on the tool cd), but I found much more productive when I use only it's physical interface. So I don't using software with it.
Hi Bryan, nice performance. I have a question: with the E-MU XL-7 can you program polyphonic patterns and play them ployphonically with an external polyphonic synth? Thanks for your answer.
Hello Simon, thanks for the feedback. Command Stations have a fully detailed MIDI sequencer working both pattern and straight line mode. This means it have all the features like a normal (computer-based) sequencer, you can send out many MIDI messages at once, so this means yes, the pattern mode will be able to send polyphonic notes and messages. Moreover it is capable to drive 32 MIDI channels inside and an additional 32 MIDI channels outside for a result of 64 MIDI channels at once. Limitations are only comes from the processor side, as this unit was in production in 2001, so its overall performance would not let you to send hundreds of messages at once, but I can confirm that 5-6 external gear with controller messages and notes will be easy as pie for this beast.
Stumbled across this tonight. Beautiful vibe! Great feel! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!
Good! Very good!!

Thanks man, really helpful answer. Thanks again.
Reminds me of Metroid Prime (which is a good thing)
