Bro it's crazy how much goalball is different now from when this vid was recorded. Since I've been playing, I'm used to more bounce and skip balls. In this video the vast majority of shots are smooth balls. Also it's amazing how people are reminded so many times, yet they can't just stay quiet while the ball's in play.
THANKS!!!! Now i wonder that u had 2 watch at least 24m 09s 2 c it. Hahahaha It is one of this sports that must be really fun 2 play, but is annoying 2 watch.
I heard "high ball", which according to wiki is when "The ball does not touch the thrower's landing zone when thrown." My understanding is that number 4 was supposed to throw the ball so that it touched the ground before the solid line (the one closest to him) Also I'm aware that this was 6 years ago and you likely don't care and will have forgotten... but there you go nonetheless
If anyone wants talking about new sports for the blind, you're welcome. I created 5 new sports for the blind that develop quite new abilities to feel the world. Everything, even things invisible for the sighted people, can be easily found out. 1) Synchronous motions in the space blindfold. (Synch motions). This is a pair Sports, where one athlete is leader and second one is follower. The leader, standing behind the back of the follower, makes free motions. The task of the follower is exactly to repeat them. Note: the follower does not see leader, and also the leader's motions don't accompany with sounds. Any defining by the trainer music can be presented as background. 2) Football blindfold. (Blind soccer) Two teams by four blind (or just blindfolded) players each (one of them is goalkeeper) play on a hockey size field. By means of absolutely new training method athletes acquire an ability of sensitivity of surrounding objects, in this case of the ball, gate and each other. The task of the field players is to define ball's location and forwarding it to the gate. The task of goalkeeper is to catch the ball. Note: the ball does not ring (without bells inside). 3) Orientation in the space blindfold (Quest). Trainings and competitions can be conducted in a sport hall, on a stadium, and also in field and forest conditions. The task of athlete is to find a hidden object or place. Note: the hidden object can be invisible and unknown even to people with vision. Blind people are taught to move around safely and independently. Any external equipment, such as white canes or guide dogs are not used. 4) Rounding of obstacles. ("Bat") In a sporthall or anywhere else it must be created artificial obstacles. The task of athlete is to go all them round. It develops an ability to prevent any dangers, including pits and stones on roads, low hanging billboards, etc. that allows to provide more favorable conditions of the life for people disabled in vision. 5) The following of an invisible information trail (Infotrail). This is a pair sports too. The leader walks along a free chosen by him way and leaves in the space his information trail. The task of blind (or just blindfolded) athlete is to follow this trail as exactly as possible. The competitions or drills can conduct in a sporthall or in any field conditions.

This seems like a very interesting/strategical sport. May I ask why Brazil got a 'penalty' shot around 32:40?

Because it was 'highball' the ball must touch the landing zone when thrown
