🙏 Praying for your quick recovery, pain relief, excellent doctors. I really appreciate this video. It's a good reminder of needing to be more careful at our age I guess. We don't give up on people that easily when you have been such an inspiration for so long to so many. Thank you for posting and please take it slow and easy to heal completely.
We are all behind you Bill, my mental health suffers when I'm off the bike, when your ready start the "on the bike medicine" no one is putting pressure on you, its all at your pace, even if its only an update once a year, that fine no1 comes first. Take care
My mental health is also greatly impacted when I'm not riding regularly. Take care of yourself, we'll be here when you get back. I wish you a speedy recovery, both mentally and physically.
Thank you so much for sharing your difficult journey, it cannot have been easy but hopefully getting everything out there in the open will help you as well as others, winter isn't the easiest time for cyclists anyhow, roll on the spring and the best wishes to you.
Great video. Thank you for filling us in and for your candor. Wise move to put the channel on the back burner while you recover. Take all the time you need. I will stay subscribed and look forward to your next video, whenever that is. Take care of yourself and keep the faith. You are recovering. Of course, slower than you'd like but you ARE recovering. The fact you made this video proves your focus and motivation are returning. Use what you have to get back on the bike and to do the other essentials of life. Best wishes.
Thank you for your exceptionally kind comments. There will be the Blooper video just before Christmas and after enjoying time with the Grandchildren over Christmas I'm hoping to be back to my old self in January 😁
I feel your pain bruv✊🏾 I’m currently struggling as I’ve been struggling with back and sciatic pain since 2013 and have recently been diagnosed with boarder line Cauda equina syndrome which has totally literally been kicking me in the rear as I get sciatica and pain down both legs but I still need to provide for my young family and it’s certainly taking its toll. Stay strong bruv as if you don’t try to fight it then you have no chance of winning. I know it’s not easy but if I don’t hold onto that slither of hope then all is lost. I sincerely hope a solution/relief comes your way soon 🙏🏾. Stay strong and I pray you get the help/relief you need ✊🏾
Bloody hell mate You are in a worse situ than me I think. I should be Ok once I'm over this operation. I hope you get some relief too long term . Thanks for your support👍
Hi, I also suffer from spondylitis and have done so for many years but recently it's affecting my ability to walk any distance , at the moment I can still cycle . Every time the condition flares up it leaves me slightly worse off, I dread to think what will happen the next time it rears its ugly head. So I offer you my best wishes for a speedy and full recovery and look forward to your return .
Hi Alan. Hopefully to put your mind at rest, my condition isn't spondylitis but spondylolythesis. I don't know enough about your condition but hope you can keep it at bay because I recognise how much it can wear you down, but don't look at my nuts and bolts and fear you will go the same way as the 2 conditions are different although easy to confuse with each other. Be well 😁👍
Take it easy my friend and focus on yourself - cycling and videos can wait. Since France I've only done 1 real ride, partly due to the awful weather and partly due to a lack of a goal like I had with France. Roll on spring and those longer, sunnier days.
I absolutely sympathise with withdrawal. Let's just say I had a problem with painkillers, for a long time, then went into rehab. Two years cleane. Stopped everything, down to even smoking, when my cousin passed away in a similar fashion. Take care, friend x
Have you given any thought to trying an E-bike to start when getting back to riding. They are so much fun! You still get as much of a workout as your want. Just a thought.....
The channel can wait. Do what you need to do and take the time you need
Thanks Jack

Thank you for that 😁 There will be an annual 'Bloopers" video just before Christmas in the meantime which I hope raises a smile

Cheers Chris, they seem a long way off but we will soon be riding with the sun on our backs again 👍
